The short story is I was born in Toronto, Canada. When I was 16, my family moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and that is where I met my wife, Bev.
We've been married for 43 years and share our home in Southwest Missouri with 4 dogs, 3 cats, 8 chickens, a herd of goats. We have 3 sons and 12 grandchildren that keep us hopping.
I've been known to ride my motorcycle in nice weather, play golf in nice weather, and tend my garden in nice weather. In bad weather, I prefer to stay inside. :)
Thanks to the support of you, our readers, I've been able to devote full time to my writing. Bev does our cover designs.

Another Winner!!

This is the third book in this series and my favorite so far. Fast paced, well written with lots of intrigue as to who the culprit was. Detective Dan is tasked with finding who committed the brutal murder of a young girl whose body was found on a dark stretch of road. With few clues and no suspects to go on he has his work cut out for him. With Officer Liz and Sheriff Joe providing input and backup he criss crosses the surrounding counties following up on one shocking lead after another.

I could not put this one down, read it in one day and the ending was truly jaw dropping!! A clean read with no profanity, graphic sex scenes or gratuitous violence. Just a very good police procedural.

Only one more book in this series listed in my Kindle Unlimited, but I do hope there are more books to come as I really enjoy these characters. 👏👏🌟🌟📖

Great suspense novel

I have enjoyed all his novels. They keep you turning the pages until you get to the last word. His novels do not have smut or sex scenes but relie on his ability to draw you into the story from the first page until the end.

Very interesting

I enjoyed the characters as well as the plot. The murders were presented without gore and still made realistically up to date. The personnel are realistic and personable. I will look forward to see them in other books.

Yeah , But

Very interesting police procedural with lots of leg work. Was truly surprised when the killer confessed. I was waiting for a twist. Faked me out. That came later. Nice ending.

Excellent fiction

Truly am enjoying these novels. So glad I discovered them. Thanks for great fiction without a lot of ugly language and unnecessary sex, drugs, and violence. Dan’s a great character and excellent cop!

Dead End

This series is an excellent read. Any book you read by John Dalglish is automatically going to be a great book or any series you decide to read. You have to trust me on that. So, pick a book or series and get set to be blown away.

fast Read

I like dark police procedurals and angst-ridden main characters, but I also like uncomplicated ones. I just want to know why Dan switched from Barq’s root beer to Fresca as his vice.

Great Read

I really enjoy the Stone County Justice books. The inclusion of real places in Stone County and other nearby countries makes the stories so realistic. I live in Greene County and recognize most of the places. I also love cashew chicken and have eaten at the original Leon's Chinese Restaurant.
