Oh ho buddy.
I did not like this one.
Now that I understand that you were just reading this for this for smut and smut sake only.
However, I at least want to care a little bit about anyone in the book and I do not and did not care about anyone. It was spicy, but it wasn’t the kind of innovative, new spicy that made it fresh and interesting. It was just kind of happening. This would be a book. I would recommend if you are new to smutty books.
It would not be a book that I would recommend for the reader that has read everything and he’s looking for a quick read to get away. I was very easily able to put this down, which is really crap since it’s only 60 pages. You should not have taken me almost a day even finish it. I just kept wanting to ignore that it was even there. So read it for something different if you’re new to space, but It’s not a book I would recommend.

I wasn't sure if this was going to be MFM or MMF based on the cover, so for the curious, it is MMF (with added ice/frost magic). Is there a plot here...nope! But, as stated, there is plenty of regular ol' debauchery. 😂 I was sad it was so short, but just because I selfishly wanted more.

I saw this listed on a "crazy peen" list of books compiled by a gem of a reader that was shared on a group I'm a member of. This was a spicy one! A MMF grouping with kinky ice sprites, ice dildos, knotting, and orgasms galore! I think I could have used maybe one more scene but overall it was a solid read. No plot to be seen but absolutely a one handed read! I'll definitely being checking out Sinclair's work in the future.

And one more quick recommendation. Do you wanna a spicy book with a wolf and Jack Frost? Loves monster romance? Short story in a town full of monsters? Definitely this is the book for you. With ice use in a way nothing conventional, a witch with one desire: discover your pleasure and two males willing to give this her, this 60 pages passes really quickly, but i really liked them.

I really loved book 1 and couldn’t wait for the fun that was book 2 especially with a cover like that. Yes…these books are mostly sex, but I knew what I was getting myself into. A little disappointed that most of the scenes were foreplay and not her actually getting some, but Lumi got what she wanted overall. I liked how she knew what she came to Grimlake for even if she had those weird terms for genitals.

I understand these are quick, smutty novella reads which doesn’t mean they’ll have the deepest of plots but comparing this to the first one, this one just felt like less. It’s good and the MFM addition was wonderful. Very spicy and yet not too. Like, it needed more toward the end. Either way, I’m skipping the next couple and reading the only other Christmas one in the series and saving the others for their corresponding holidays.

Meh. Loved the MM stuff. But for a book that's sole set up is the FMC wanting to get railed my monster dick, the fact that we don't get a single scene where she gets railed by a monster dick is kind of weird.

I mean, her mouth gets railed and she gets fucked by an ice dildo, but that's not the same. Especially when you tease knots. We don't even get a visual on Jack being knotted? Boo.

The spice was good and creative (helloooooo ice dildo), but something was missing from this story that made it less exciting than the first book. There wasn't really any tension between Lumi and the guys. It was instalust to the highest degree without any connection.

An sich war die Idee wirklich gut. Eine Frau verirrt sich im Wald und erfriert fast. Da findet sie Jack Morozko, also Väterchen Frost, den allerdings alles andere als Väterlich aussieht. Besonders nett wirkt er auch nicht und erpresst sie sozusagen. Wenn sie überleben will und er sie retten soll, dann muss sie ihm zu Willen sein. Sie willigt natürlich ein und verliert das Bewusstsein durch die starke Kälte. Als sie aufwacht befindet sie sich in Jacks Hütte, in der er zusammen mit einem Wolf(smenschen). Die beiden haben eine Beziehung, freuen sich aber nun eine Gespielin zu haben. Alles passiert hier im gegenseitigen Einvernehmen, aber der die beiden männlichen Figuren sind schon sehr dominant. Es werden hier einige Kinks bedient, aber das ganze ist noch recht harmlos bis auf eine Breath-Play Szene. Begeistern konnte es mich aber nicht. So richtig benennen kann ich das Problem nicht, aber alles lief zu geradlinig und der Fokus lag fast ein bisschen zu sehr auf die Beziehung zwischen Frost und dem Wolf. Es wirkte als könne die Autorin sich nicht recht entscheiden, auf welches Pärchen sie den Fokus legen will bzw. wirkte es als ob ihr der heterosexuelle Part der Geschichte nicht so lag.
Die Figuren waren dagegen wirklich interessant. Jack Frost mit seinem kühlen Wesen und auch körperlichen Eigenschaften, allein war schon interessant, aber auch der sehr dominante Wolf wurde gut beschrieben. Die weibliche Prota blieb da eher blass.
Ich würde die Autorin noch nicht ganz abschreiben, aber es reizt mich nicht wirklich alsbald wieder zu einem Buch von ihr zu greifen.

The first book in this series set a pretty high fking bar for kinky monster sex. So, I went into this with big ass expectations. I knew that this was a story featuring Jack Frost. WHY after months of stalking Salem Sinclair's insta it never occurred to me to question WHY TF there was a white were wolf on the cover?!? Surprise surprise when Amarque comes in dicking down everyone in the story. He's an alpha I'd totally bow down to.

I wasn't a big fan of Lumi. She reminded me of the dumb girl who just agrees to whatever. With that said, she is living her best life and I am not mad at her.

Jack Frost was not the dom I expected him to be but he was still very creative and I enjoyed his interactions with all parties involved.

This story was kinky and funny. Straight to the point, not much of an overall storyline but I'm not complaining. I highly recommend this as a one handed read.

I asked for more of this series, and I definitely got it. I got this book on KU knowing absolutely nothing about the plot except it was set in the Monsters of Grimlake series, and I LOVED what this author did for Krampus. This author made me fall in love with monster books in an entirely different way than I had loved my whole life.

I have to state a few things specifically for my personal tastes: one is that Morozko is possibly my favorite bit of folklore ever, so that premise was AMAZING, and maybe made me a bit biased. The second thing is the wolf. I’m not into the wolf thing, but those are my personal tastes and the writing and book itself is still amazing. What I was NOT expecting was for the wolf to be the alpha and I kinda appreciated that.

This author knows how to use pop culture references and humor to make you laugh through books while also salivating for the next scene. Even the very end of the book is sexy and hilarious.

And I will continue to hold out hope for a book about the unicorn.

Similarly to book 1 in this series, this one was hot as hell. If you are looking for a quick, plotless, smut filled novella to enjoy (one handed) this holiday season, this is definitely an option for you.

All Lumi wants is to get fucked silly by some premium monster dick. It’s all any of her friends talk about. It’s why she came to Grimlake in the first place. So when she finds herself indebted to the one and only Jack Frost and his werewolf friend Amaruq, after Jack saved her life, she might finally have her monster dick dreams come true.

Hot, hot, hot. There’s not much more to say than that. I only wish we would have gotten a sex scene with Amaruq and Lumi.

I hope we get more of the monsters of Grimlake in future books!

I didn’t think I would be reading Salem Sinclair again until at least around Valentine’s Day because I knew this series featured that holiday, but pretty much on a whim, I thought I’d check out what other books/holidays were featured in Monsters of Grimlake. Imagine my surprise when I saw Frosted Hearts, I clicked on immediately to read the synopsis and one of the heroes is good old Jack Frost! I did hesitate a little before picking it up because I prefer romances with only two people, but I thought to myself that since I’ve really enjoyed reading Salem Sinclair so much and that it would be a quick read there would be no reason not to just read it. And I have to say that while I thought that Krampus and Noelle’s book would probably be my favorite, Frosted Hearts may have taken that title! I feel like we got a better picture of the world this series is set it and it was so interesting, I just want more of it. Also while this book was super steamy, it also made me laugh quite a bit too! Frosted Hearts was just an excellent little story and I loved it to bits!

Well this was a fun ride. I am loving this series a lot. Only thing I don't like is I wish the books were longer. Smut is on point!! And our girl Lumi is just freaking amazing.

This novella was so much fun and of course sexy. Lumi just wanted to have some “fun” with a monster. She finds herself stuck on the mountain and saved by The Jack Frost. Despite the mountain being cold things get steamy with Jack and his wolf friend. If you enjoy MMF monster stories that are short and spicy then read this!

Lumi just wanted to have a great time with some non-human men, after being completely unsatisfied with human men. But now she's lost in the woods and about die. Until Jack Frost finds her.

I knew that this book would be great just because I love the author. And I was not wrong! We have a ton of absolutely incredibly steam that just melts you while reading it. The story was interesting, and while the main premise of the story is the steam, you still get a little more to the story. You will not be disappointed with this story!

After reading the first book in this series, I quickly downloaded book two. This book is just as good. The MM, and MMF themes are great. While I liked the MMF, I was actually more into Jack and Amaruq together. Now that was a steamy pairing. Enough to warm a cold soul like Jack.

Although Lumi was still treated to some earth-shattering pleasure with sprites. Never in my wildest dreams would I ever imagine sprites being so "handsy". Just like the first book, I found this one to be a quick read. Monster romance is where it is at.

Welp, this book didn’t work for me like the first one. One, it was over way faster than I was expecting and felt a bit abrupt. I wasn’t looking for a ton of plot but the first book flowed more nicely into the conclusion. Two, I can’t get past the fact that this is basically beastiality. I’m down for werewolves but monster that are wolves is apparently my line. It might work for others though and the sex is technically hot. Sad this one didn’t work for me but hopefully it will for others.

I generally enjoyed this, the spice was good, the charaters were good, but two things really irked me.

1. The whole point of this story is that Lumi wants monster dick... but she doesn't ACTUALLY get any (at least not on page) so the whole thing felt a bit like foreplay.

2. Lumi is described as curvy.... multiple times.... and yet it is a slim woman on the cover. please don't skinny-wash your own characters! Otherwise the inclusion of a fuller figured woman just feels disingenuous.

I need a visit to Grimlake

So I saw this being reviewed on Tiktok and decided to try it out, and you can imagine my delight when I saw the other covers. They’re so pretty! And I like the fun idea of monsters.

This is a cute Christmas one with naughty spices added in. I think it’s funny that there’s technically no penetration down there from the actual dudes but it was still pretty nice to experience.
