Cute surprise pregnancy book where she effs her brothers best friend. She tries to contact him through social media and his people responded with leave me alone biatch at a point where he's fighting off called pregnancy claims by multiple women. Quick read and cute with the baby!

There wasn’t anything wrong with this book at all. It was a nice story. There was nothing to dislike about it.

However, the story also wasn’t exciting or meaningful. The relationship was a bit boring, they only had sex twice and that was lackluster. I mean, if this was real life their relationship would be adorable and perfect. Buuuttt this is a book and the story was a bit too perfect with almost no drama or issues or angst or anything.

Okay I get it. He is the hot star quarterback who gets all the girls throwing themselves at him. But will you just STOP saying that every other fucking page?
I mean, WE GET IT. Now just stop mentioning how much he likes naked women in his bed. It was becoming annoying at bordering on disgusting when he keeps mentioning his sexual appetite EVEN AFTER meeting the h and his son. But apart from the story was sweet and there was no cheating involved so it was a decent read.

Una noche.

Una velada llena de perspectivas de cambio se convirtió en una de pasión en el momento en que me encontré con el mejor amigo de mi hermano gemelo. Cuando terminó nuestro tiempo juntos, me quedé con un poco más que el recuerdo de sus hermosos ojos color avellana y su cuerpo musculoso. Tate Steele, jugador de fútbol profesional y chico malo de los tabloides, me dejó con su bebé.

Esa es la única manera de describir a Ashtyn Harris. Después de que una lesión menor en la rodilla en la pretemporada me enviara a la casa de un amigo para tomarme las cosas con calma, descubrí exactamente lo débil que soy en lo que respecta a la hermana gemela de mi mejor amigo. Tenía que tenerla, pero cuando terminó nuestra noche, solo me quedó su recuerdo. O eso pensé...



Mi humilde opinión:

Romance deportivo, futbol, hermana de mi mejor amigo, aventura de una noche, bebé sorpresa.

Tate se esta recuperando de una lesión en la rodilla en casa de su mejor amigo donde se encuentra con Ash, lo inevitable pasa y tienen una noche de pasión. Pero a pesar de que le gusta realmente Ash es la hermana de su amigo y esta fuera de los limites, sintiéndose culpable por cruzarlos deja a Ash. Meses después se entera que ella tiene un bebe y que puede ser suyo.

La historia era agradable, me gustaron los momentos de Tate con Rowan, fue muy dulce y él enseguida se involucró, se convirtió en un buen papá. En cuanto al romance estuvo bien pero la forma en que los protagonistas se juntan esa única noche fue rara. De pronto a Tate, el mujeriego y popular jugador de futbol se fija en Ash y no la puede resistir? Lo hubiera creído mas si me decía que ya tenia una atracción por ella desde antes y nunca hizo nada al respecto porque era la hermana de su amigo. De todas formas y aunque quería mas de la pareja, me gusto cómo reconectaron.

No hubo grandes conflictos con Tate y el hermano de Ash, él se enfada al principio pero lo acepta. En general es una lectura rápida dulce con un lindo final y epilogo.

Sport Romance / Mejor amigo de mi hermano / Bebé Sorpresa

Ashtyn y Tate tienen una noche loca. A la mañana siguiente Tate se siente culpable por haber cruzado la línea con la hermana de su mejor amigo y irse sin despedirse.
Nueve meses después se entera de que Ash ha tenido un bebé pero por un malentendido a él nadie le había avisado.

Es una historia corta, así que no le pidas peras al olmo.
Pero la verdad es que es una historia muy bonita.
Si bien el primer error es una falta de comunicación a causa de terceros. La pareja si se comunica muy bien cuando ya están juntos, por eso ya no hay más drama. No se hacen más suposiciones, son directos y claros.
Y hacen una familia ❤️
El único pero que le pongo son las dos escenas spicy que tiene la novela, una al principio y otra al final. Me han parecido... simplonas (repetitivas las dos) y no sé, sin más, no destacan.
La recomiendo si buscas una historia corta spot-romance.

Loved Tate and Ash

Tate was staying with his best friend while he recovered from a knee injury he got while playing football. Ashtyn his friends sister happened to pop in to see her brother who was not at home. The two of them somehow managed to have a one night stand. Ash finds out she is pregnant and tries to contact him without any luck.
He finds out about the baby and finds out his PR is the one that told Ash he was not the father and to not contact him again.
They talk and work things out and they are able to get the HEA they were looking for.

Tate and Ash

Tate, the playboy quarterback, has a drunken one night stand with his best friends sister. When Ashtyn finds herself pregnant and believes Tate has denied the existence of their child she moves on with her life, keeping the name of the father a secret. When they meet a few weeks after birth of Rowan, there is an instant connection and they clear the air. Very short, quick, instant romance with some steamy scenes but felt a little rushed and under developed.

Novella perfection! Sweet Steamy SportsRom

I don’t know about you, but I LOVE novellas. Quarterback Keeper by LB was so dang good. It felt like a full story with a cute as hell HEA. Ashtyn and Tate are so cute. Short, sweet and steamy.

Tate falling in love with his son brought tears to my eyes. Tate was so sweet, dreamy, sexy, flirty and really funny. Loved that Ashtyn didn’t change her life after everything.

I hope Alex gets a novella!! ♥️

perfect novella

This novella hits the spot. It’s a secret baby done well. Ashtyn and Tate have know each other for years. He is her twin brothers best friend. But they are in the periphery of each others lives. One night changes everything and the playboy quarterback changed as well. I really liked the way in which the storyline played out. And it is an excellently strutted novella where I got enough but still wanted more.

I love a brothers best friend story and this novella was perfect. I loved Tate so much and loved how he was with Ash. I love when the playboy isn't all he seems to the outside world and this was just what i needed. These two had challenges to overcome but i loved how Tate wasn't going to stand back and not take what he had always wanted. Loved it.

Quarterback Keeper by Lacey Black was a quick little read that had me powering through the pages. This one grabbed me right away and I quickly fell for the characters and the story. There were so many things that had me falling for this one, unable to get enough of the characters and their story. Although a few things were a little too cliched for me, it was not enough to remove my enjoyment.

Great story and great characters! I was a bit thrown Ash would give up so quickly contacting him, but it worked out!
