Siyon thought life couldn’t get any worse after the incident involving her deranged husband, Mari. She thought she’d already felt the unluckiest part of it all. She couldn’t have been more wrong.
A recovering Siyon has lost everything, even the clothes on her back. During her healing phase, she has no choice but to live with her baby daddy, Jaydee, temporarily. Being in the same house with the man she loved first, things were bound to get out of control. Siyon just didn’t know how out of control things could get.
Jaydee been on his own since he was a kid. Taking care of people around him was nothing new to him which is why he fell right into the role as Siyon’s caregiver. His temporary role taking care of his wounded baby mother started to clash with his permanent role as Blanca’s man. On top of everything going on, old nemeses still lurked around the corner along with unsettled troubles from the past that still haunts Jaydee.
Smiley is adapting to his new role as a dad while keeping up with his position as a cold blooded slayer. He and LaLa has come a long way but their love is endangered with a dark turn of events.

ok
It's an ok read. It has a lot of action, which I like, but there are some things I don't like. Blanca and Jaydee make ZERO sense and they have any chemistry. She seems so needy and at first he seems rather standoffish when it comes to her. Yaski is a very weird character that seems just to be there for convenience. At this point not sure why her character was needed. I thought that Smiley said Jean was like 16/17 previously but some of the stuff his character says/does seems immature/childish. Like he's almost grown and doesn't know what pubic hair is??? So maybe I'm wrong about his age, but since he hangs around Junior I don't think I'm that far off. This felt more like a mystery/suspense series bc there really isn't very much romance. Sex, yes. But haven't felt the sense of anybody being romantic or falling in love. So i like the suspenseful aspects of the book. The ending wasn't very much of a cliffhanger and I do recall that many loose ends to where it would need a part 3 but I'll try reading it to see how it goes!

Oh my God! What A Hot Mess!
Kia Jones, good read. This cliffhanger girl I just am speechless. I don't even know which way to start. Jess created so much unnecessary drama, once the ball started rolling it was to hard to stop.She was crazy as a loon and still didn't achieve what she thought she would. Her karma hasn't got her yet.
Smiley had some serious issues but in my opinion he has a great caring heart. He is genuine from the inside out. He is learning how to love and I think it's a beautiful thing to see.
Siyon, in my opinion got just what she deserved. Jr. has more sense than his mama and so does his little sister.
LaLa is going to be good for Smiley they both need each other in their lives. Jaydee finally got his closer he needed. I really pray they all have what they need to move on those that lost accept it and keep moving its their karma. New loves, new journeys, waiting for the next run. Great Job🤗🤗🤗😍😍

Damn this book was crazy for some reason I don’t like smiley. That damn Blanca I was feeling her ass either got me wondering what she real up to. Syion need to get help or her life together maybe find her a man or something because it’s clear Jaydee don’t want her ass. Not seeing a chapter for Blanca I just knew she was going to win him back but nope. So at this point his ass doesn’t need to be with either women. The damn reporter lady is crazy and it’s so much dumb shit happening I need you to wrap everything up the next but because this one had me all over the place lol. This book left so many unanswered question. Maybe part 3 can make me better understand it. This read was ok and dragged on especially Smiley parts. This crazy, drama filled story kept me interested and never wanting it to end. Jess was a looney. I really don't think Blanca and Jaydee gonna stay married. I understand Siyon hurt Jaycee in the worst way but the way he did her was way worst than she did him. He married Blanca under fake love and he told her he slept with her cousin and brush it off like it wasn't nothing just wrong. I hope Siyon bossed tf up in part 3 and live her life to the fullest rather she get back with Jaydee or not!

Jaydee went thru so much with going thru prison and went thru pain and his ex-wife Siyon who turned her back on him. His son Junior was raised with out him he was still active in his life. Then tragedy struck Siyon and her Aunt who raised was shot and killed in front of her and daughter Mya. Jaycee get married to Blanca who held him down in prison. Smiley is trying to be a better man to take care Jean and have a relationship with La La. Jess is Siyon cousin who jealous of her because she is in love with Jaydee plot to get Siyon out the way once and for all.

Gut wrenching💥💥💥the scene with Jaydee rocking back and forth hugging his mother's corpse. Even driving all those miles to find her grave and to dig up her body and place it in the trunk of his car was extremely sad! Jaydee was determined to find Bucky and kill him tor killing his mom! That crazy drunk Jess is ridiculous. If she continues to show up at Jaydee's house drunk and talking insane Jaydee is going to kill her if Siyon don't do it first! Of course Smiley is going to kill Hap for sending LaLa that video of him having sex with the news reporter in the bathroom. Wow a lot was going on in this episode!

The book is really good . But I don't like that Blanca person something ain't right about her . To know you killed my brother and not feel some type of way.. no no. Siyon is cool cause if my husband got life I would move on tooo. However to not put no money or talk to him is a different thing, she was wrong ass hell. But everyone makes mistakes maybe she will learn from it . Still hope Jaydee gets away from her just don't like Blance. Jess just need her butt kicked over and over just nasty.Smiley is a hot mess too

This was deep! I just want to hug Jaydee! Damn Bucky! He is just pure trash! Just unbelievable. I'm sitting here in disbelief. I still don't trust Blanca. She is too over the top & sneaky. Jada said way too much. I just knew Jaydee was going to slap her. I enjoy reading about Smiley. He is pure crazy....lol. I don't like Lala. She rubs me the wrong way. Yaski is a weirdo. Siyon needs a therapist. Jess is a nutcase & a fatal attraction. Jean really surprised me. He is Smiley Jr.

To be honest.....
Pretty good. Not as much drama as book 1, but still a good story. A lot of secrets came out, some good some not. I still have no trust in that chick Blanca and I know it's something not being told with that situation. Jess needs to disappear and never come back. How are you so jealous of your cousin that you pretty much had your mother killed trying to get at Siyon?? To make matters worse it was all behind a man who doesn't want you or her. I just hope in the end everybody gets their life together and become better and happy people.

This book was good! That's it! That's all! The characters were so annoying but interesting and sucked you in. I wanted to ring all of their necks at some point during this book. I loved Jaydee and Smiley though. But all the female characters drove me nuts. I want more! Page turner.

The drama continues….
None of the characters really seem to know/be where need to be.
Jaydee is playing chess while others playing checkers. Not feeling the marriage to Blanca though.
Siyon still not taking responsibility for her actions and her expectations of Jaydee is unrealistic.
The whole Bucky transgression was a shocker.
