Down He Father of the Bride Book 7 A Curvy Girl & Her Best Friend’s Dad Age Gap Romance Short
The caution tape should have been my warning. It might have been better to risk running into the family of bears than turning around to seek refuge at my best friend’s dad’s house. It’s the night before her wedding and everything and anything has already tried to keep me from making it here—what other choice do I have? I didn’t know Rhys Black would be all the words that start with Delicious. Dangerously disarming. DILF. I’m already keeping one big secret… What’s one more?
When my daughter asked me to let her "bestie" stay the night at my cabin before the big day, of course I said yes. Didn’t expect the girl to be a knockout. Literally, she knocked the good sense right of my head. Jodie’s the breath of air I didn’t realize I’d been going without. Now that she’s here, it feels nothing short of fated. But that’s too good to be true. Jodie’s too young, too perfect. Too much my daughter’s maid of honor. Could fate be this cruel?
These 7 fathers have gone the distance for the ones they love so when it comes time to give their daughters away, they’re also giving away a piece of their hearts. But wedding season is full of surprises, and ready or not, these dads get a chance to open up their heart once more for the woman of their dreams. Who gives these single daddies a curvy sweetie to claim as their own? We do.
Each short and steamy Father of the Bride story can stand alone! There is no cheating, no cliffhangers, and always a heart-happy HEA!

As the road is closed Jodie has no choice but to spend the noght with best friends Dad. Rhys and Jodie have the greatest story and you will cheer for these two to have their happily ever after.

She is in so much trouble when she meets the father of the bride...her bestie's dad
Down He Goes by Tarin Lex is part of the multi-author Father of the Bride series. This short and entertaining story is a fun read with some smouldering heat. Jodie Danvers is having more than a few travel issues getting to her best friend Margot's wedding. She even left a day early just to be there in enough time to spend a night with Margot, where she is the maid of honor. As she is so late Margot arranges for her to go to her father's cabin instead of keep travelling to the hotel as it is getting dark. Rhys Black may be Margot's father but he is still an older and very sexy man that all the women in the area flirt with and chase. After his wife died he raised Margot alone and never met anyone that turned his head enough to get involved with. That all changes when Jodie arrives as his cabin and he takes one look at her as she gets out of her small rental car. This could become a very complicated situation but when the heart wants what it wants everything becomes very clear.
I really liked this short story. It was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were easy to relate to and likable. While there was mention of an age-gap, it wasn't mentioned as to how big of an age-gap it was (or I missed it!) but it felt like a non-issue. Jodie has had EVERYTHING that can go wrong, go wrong on her way to her best friend Margot's wedding. When she needed a place to stay, Margot offered up her dad's cabin. Jodie had never met Margot's dad so she wasn't prepared when she met Rhys. Rhys wasn't prepared to meet Jodie either. They were both attracted to each other immediately. There was a little jump that confused me and I wish there was an explanation or a bit more letting us know how we got there. I loved their happily ever after. I'm greedy though and I would have loved another epilogue further out. I recommend reading this book.

Jodie has had a bad day getting to her best friend's wedding. Missed the rehearsal dinner, her luggage gets lost, and her rental car is on it's last leg. She's almost to her destination when she's stopped because of a momma bear and her babies. She ends up at her best friend's father's house. There is an instant connection between Rhys and Jodie but he keeps thinking about the age gap. Finally at his daughter's wedding they both can't wait anymore. They have the most amazing steamy scene that they get caught by his daughter and the son in law's mother. Will Jodie and Margot forgive her father and best friend for falling in love. Read and find out!.

Tarin Lex joins the wonderful multi-author Father of the Bride series with Down He Goes. When everything that could go wrong does as Jodie heads to her best friend's wedding in the Montana mountains, her bestie directs her to her father's cabin for the night. Rhys was not expecting an absolute knock out when his daughter asked if her maid-of-honour could stay with him the night before the wedding, but from the moment the young woman arrives on his land, he is instantly taken by her - and the feeling is completely mutual. A fun, quick, steamy age-gap instalove, this short romance is a fantastic addition to this series!

Nothing seems to be going well for Jodie on this trip for her best friend's wedding. Her friend gives her directions to her father's place so she can stay there and come with him. When she arrives, she is stunned by how attractive her friend's father is. Sparks fly between them. However, they hold back and once her friend is married things seem to heat up between Jodie and Rhys. Will this end her friendship? Can they find a way to be together?

Jodie is on her way to her best friend’s wedding, in the mountain lodge of Montana. The day just got worse, after her flight was late, the airline lost her luggage, now the road to the lodge where the wedding is being held is closed. After a call to her best friend, Margot, she told Jodie to head to her fathers cabin for the night. Rhys is the young father of the bride, but one look at his daughter’s maid of honor, he was instantly drawn to her and Jodie had the same felling about Rhys. They both realize they must hide their feelings, for the sake of their families. I am volunteering to leave a ARC review of this book.
Down Rhys Goes! Tarin Lex’s “Down He Goes” from the multiauthor Father of the Bride series is a steamy and sexy age gap romance that sizzles. Jodie has had one bad thing after another happen as she travels to her best friend’s wedding, but things seem to look up when she meets the super hot and much older Rhys Black, who also happens to be her bestie’s dad! The chemistry between them is undeniable, despite the fact that they are trying not to cross a line, but holy cow, this one makes you pull for their HEA!
Best Friend Father and Maid of Honor!!! This is about Jodie and Rhys. Jodie is heading to Montana for her best friend, Margot’s, wedding but has had one bad day after the next just trying to get there. She finally arrives the day before the wedding only to be turned around due to a sign stating that she couldn’t go through due to sitings of a bear family, so Margot advised her to go to her dad’s house which she did and this is where she meets Rhys. He is not only Margot’s father but a hunk!.

Jodie is not having a great day, the airline lost her luggage, thankfully the dress is her carryon. The road to when she is supposed to meet her friend is blocked off. Her friend tells her to head to her dad's house. She never told her how hot her dad is. The chemistry is off the charts between the two of them. Nothing happens the night before the wedding.
After the wedding they head off with each other. What will her friend think?.

Momma Bear + 2. Great story. Rhys wants Jodie but, she is his daughter’s best friend and he only just met her. Things heat up fast between them and in the process of dealing with that knowledge he’s finds out the real reason for his daughter’s rushed wedding. It’s all too much for Jodie when her best friend catches them together and quits speaking to her. Will everyone get through the challenges that life has thrown at them? Read on to see.

Down He Goes is steamy age gap story that will have you taking a step back to take a breath.
Jodie gets caught by a snowstorm, instead of making it to where her friend and bride are, she detours to her friend's father home. Rhys was expecting his daughter friend, but when Jodie showed up, it was not the girl that appeared by a woman.
This is just a fun fast story that is perfect to get lost in when you need a break. Rhys and Jodie have amazing chemistry and the tension will burn up the pages.

The trip to Jodie's best friend's wedding starts out with everything going wrong. But when she ends up at her friend's father's house things take an insta love turn. From the moment Rhys sees Jodie he knows that they belong together but she's his daughter's best friend and is worried about how his daughter will react. Down He Goes is part of the multi-author Father of the Bride series and so far I am loving this series. The writing is well done, the characters are believable, and the ending is great. Jodie is on her way to her best friends wedding in Montana when one disaster after another strikes her. When a closed roads leads her to staying with her friends dad she can’t believe the instant feelings she has for him. One look and Rhys was in love with Jodie. Now he needed to navigate how to tell his daughter. Hot, sweet and steamy with amazing chemistry and a lovely HEA.

This is a great series. Jodie gets caught and she cannot make it to the resort and asks her father to take her in. When Rhys meets Jodie it is love at first sight. Jodie Rhys' daughter's friend. This is an age gap and it is part of a wonderful series. Rhys and Jodie prove that love has no age limit. Great short story.

This was a short but sweet story. Jodie, having a very bad day, goes to her besties fathers cabin cause the access to the venue is closed due to bears. She meets father of the bride Rhys and it's love at first sight for both of them. I liked how the storyline flowed so effortlessly and quickly. I kind of wished thr story was longer. But reading Rhys and Jodie getting their HEA was worth it. Definitely a nice summer read.
I loved this book! Poor Jodie is having a rough day, everything seems to be going wrong. But it all turns around and I love how her bad day gets so much better! And it only goes up from there. An excellent story and I highly recommend it!.

For a best friend who had a bad, horrible, terrible two days a RHS of sunshine lets her stay at his home before his daughter/her best friend’s wedding. Funny. Sensual and full of surprises this short read is fun. No cliff.

This is a well-written standalone novella, the storyline is sweet and emotional, Jodie is on her way to her best friends wedding and one thing after another goes wrong. She ends up staying the night with Rhys, her bff's father. They have an instant connection. Plenty of drama and emotion throughout this story.
Words cannot describe the way this story was written. I’ve enjoyed a couple books from this series and this one just makes it never ending. The characters and the father is just …makes you speechless. Don’t know if you’re going to want to miss out on this!.

This is a DELISH daddy situation. I’m not typically a fan of “I fell for my best friend’s dad” books. However, this one was great! Rhys is all that and a bag of chips. Jodie’ very bad day is about to get a lot better with an unexpectedly delicious find when she meets her bestie’s dad. Loved it!.
