The authors of this book do a wonderful job going through each of the different mindsets that can keep us from living life the way God has called us to. I love how relatable they are while sharing their own experiences. And one of my favorite parts of the book is how each chapter ends with the Counselor's Corner. Make Up Your Mind gives us practical tools to put on the mind of Christ.

Favorite quote: People don't need polite sayings when their world is falling apart. They need Jesus.
This book is powerful and biblically-based on how our thoughts can lead us down a negative path creating a life that God didn’t intend for us to have. Denise and Michelle have provided readers with encouraging words and actions that we can take to turn our mindset around.
I’ve written two books on transforming your thought life, so this topic is near and dear to my heart. My real-life friends Denise and Michelle give new insights from two perspectives – Denise as a Bible teacher, Michelle as a Christian counselor. I learned lots of new tips for application in my own life, which are helping me choose peace in replacement for my anxiety.
The Counseling Corner was the saving grace is this book. I had such high hopes but when it came down to it, the Counseling Corner was where all the answers were found. This was one of the few books I could not finish. If you want to get a good idea of how to work through the issues read the counseling corner section and apply those things. Everything else was just fluff.
