Genesis 2:32 NIV
By the seventh day God had finished the work He had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all His work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it He rested from all the work of creating that He had done.
7 means completion. 7 means the day of rest after hard work and long battle.
7 Life Lessons Learned:
1. Fearless Lioness
2. Alone, I am not
3. Weight of Waiting
4. Humility in Productivity
5. Unconditional Love
6. Strength in Silence
7. Isolation is for Preparation
In life, you can't always have stable, powerful, all-consuming faith. There are days where you can't bring yourself to get out of bed because the burden of your reality is too heavy. It is a process, slowly, steady, patiently. But that is not the end of your story.
You slowly become fearless. You become numb to the threat. You've hit rock bottom, now the only way is going up.
If today what you have is little faith, Little strength, just a glimmer of hope.
You begin to see that God is still good, no matter what your current condition is. That is enough.
Psalm 56:3-4
When I am afraid, I put my trust in You. In God, whose word I praise- in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?
Stop asking God for faith while you keep feeding yourself fear. Fear is a focus issue. Fear isn’t just about your condition, but it’s a decision. Decide not to fear today. Choose faith over fear today.
He is not limited by space, by threat of disease, by physical distance. Your loneliness is heaven calling you to draw near to Him.
“Cast your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings”
1 Peter 5:7-9 NIV
The hands that have been shaking endlessly, uncontrollably, from my anxiety, will be the same hands that I will raise to worship instead. Prayerfully Powerfully.
Until one night during my prayer God told me, “My promise isn’t cancelled. In darkness, My light will come through. My miracle is on its way. I will be so beautiful, you’ll know it’s from Me. It’s worth your wait”.
Waiting is an active act, working on yourself, dating, pursuing your dream, taking the next step, walking with faith.
Waiting is not a passive act. Waiting is not wasted. Waiting is not idly, lazily hoping for a miracle from heaven while you’re not doing your worldly part. Waiting is not being naïve but seeking wisdom instead.
Waiting is not compromising your value, just because you’re lonely. Waiting is to keep going anyway. You keep trusting anyway. You keep leading anyway. Keeping your tired heart open and expectant for heaven’s best. For love. For miracle. For breakthrough. Do your part with faith, and heaven will hunt you with favor. God is still in control.
When it’s your season to receive, no disease, no worldly issue, no battles that can block your blessings.
When you feel like you’re so tired and weary from all the wait that you can’t possibly walk anymore, know that God will carry you through to the finish line.
In our weakness, God’s strength is made perfect. In our tiredness, God wants to bless our brokennesss.
2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV
“but He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
If today the worry, the weight of waiting, got you down on your knees. Then it is the perfect position to pray. Your loneliness is a sign from heaven calling you to come home to Him. Your breaking point might be so painful but your breakthrough will be so beautiful.
The season forced me to reevaluate my productivity and not let it define who I am as a person. I am not defined by what I do, I am defined by who I worship.
Proverbs 16:3 NIV
Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.
Your works does not define your worth, what you do does not define who you are. Who you worship does.
“I love you first, my Queen. I chose you first. I love you for who you are to Me. You’re My precious. “
Know that God loves you because of who you are to Him, not because of what you can do for Him.
The question is, can you value and see yourself just as precious? See yourself through the eyes of loving God. God loves you because you’re fearfully, wonderfully made.
If there’s one thing that God cannot do, is that he cannot love you any less.
1 John 4:19 NIV “We love because He first loved us”.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
God will use this silent season to grow your faith even more, to mature you. Your strength is now deeply rooted in what God says about you and not in what people think about you.
The enemy has been screaming to you, trying to move your focus away from your purpose, but in silence, learn to grow in strength and in maturity.
Make friends with silence. Practice the art of solitude. Tune in to the guidance of the Holy Spirit and turn up the volume of His voice.
Don’t let the voice of doubt and fear become louder than your conviction of your purpose. Your purpose is too important, too dangerous, my lioness.
I do not need to know what tomorrow holds because I already know the one who holds my tomorrow.
If there’s one thing that this year has taught you is that we should stop putting things on hold, because tomorrow isn’t guaranteed.
Even though the future is uncertain, one thing remains the same, yesterday, today and tomorrow. God is still in control and His promise is still on. He will bring it into completion what He Started in you, He never waste anything, not even the toughest, driest season. The lesson you learned during this season of isolation, He will turn it into good and prepare you for the next season of promotion.
Humble yourselves, therefore under God’s might hand, that He may lift you up in due time.
Welcome, peace. Hello there, grace.
