What a cute little Christmas story! I love that we got to see Medjed find his HEA, but true to his nature, not without a big misunderstanding. Thank goodness for such a fantastic mediator. The author kept the story moving and the laughter coming with each turn of the page, and I can’t wait to see what this group gets up to next. I just know it’s going to be amazing.
Candy and Medjed get off to a misunderstood start, but Santa helps them work through it. The "colorful" language Candy uses is hilarious. This is a fun, quick read.
I’m so happy to have read this book! Fruity looms finally got his HEA! The Khopesh finally got sheathed! Lol goodness all around! If you’ve been reading Gorri’s Wyvern series you would have been introduced to Medjed. He was a villain at first though, misunderstood and then turned to their side and became one of their government agents. If you’ve haven’t read the series I suggest you get a move on it! Get on the ready line Marine!! Get some today!!! Now, this was such a short and sweet novella! I couldn’t stop laughing at the Christmas Elves and their foul language. Medjed had me dying when he was struggling and thinking of the lyrics from that certain catchy 1980s song 🤣 too funny! This book was straight up filled with just happy happy joy joy feelings (did you catch what I did there?). I’m still waiting for Jennifer’s book. I am bouncing all over the place when it was hinted at she’s in love but the guy doesn’t know... WHO IS THIS MASKED MAN?? I wonder if it’s the dad? Noooo, can’t be🤔🤔🤔. Could it? I’m going to pull my hair out on this one! This book was hot and heated from the start! I bet they got even more anomaly’s pinging their system from all the hot action those two were setting off! Chemistry for days! Also you can totally tell Medjed will have his hands full with Candy. She is full of such cute snark I love it! This book was perfect for the holidays! Perfect to read at night when you’re just chilling... since I’m in Southern California I can’t say by the fire unless it’s a forest fire (insert Ed McMahon chortle here) but it has that vibe going for it. Short and sweet. Gorri always brings these kind of books to the table. You just know you’re going to get a AAA heavy hitter title when you read one of her books. I love her writing so much. I know you’ll love this one. 5 cosmic stars 💥💥💥💥💥 from me!

Candy Margaret Kane is a Christmas Elf who lives in Santa’s Magical Christmas Village. Her Granny Elf had told her she would find her fated mate when the stars aligned. He would be in the human world. Candy has watched the stars until finally the stars have aligned and she leaves the village to find her one true love. Medjed is a Warrior and Guard to the House of Osiris. Until recently, he had been magically trapped in a papyrus for thousands of years. He is on a mission for the Wyvern Protection Unit. Medjed and Candy meet by chance and that is when the sparks begin flying. This was a fast paced, quick enjoyable read for Christmas. The author used such delightful Christmas season adjectives. Her description of Medjed with his cinnamon gummy bear scent and Candy with her cranberry evergreen scent was cute. This book is a stand alone story but there are characters in this story from her Wyvern series. This short story made me interested in reading the books in that series. This was a fun holiday tale where you even get to see Santa! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

But when she gets there Medjed is already there and sad she left. Now she has to air her “dirty laundry” in front of all of her friends, and live through the heartache of his betrayal. Medjed knows something is missing in his life. When he meets Candy, he finally feels whole. Then she leaves him. He is willing to take on Santa to get her back. I really enjoyed this one. This is a quick, fun, holiday, paranormal romance with interesting characters that have a misunderstanding that Santa has to sort out. This story has fun characters with a quick and steamy connection. I love this continuation of this Series in this world by this author. It is a short story and I will be glad to revisit these characters whenever they pop up in following books. Just love Medjed

He followed Candy and explained everything, Medjed groveled and helped her finish decorating. She met the Wrynns and the woman he was talking to and they divided their time between the North Pole and where he lived.

Now this is one magical story with a wonderful feel good vibe that'll have you laughing, swearing and maybe even a tear or two. After all Candy only heard bits and pieces to his half of a conversation and was off for hills before he could even say Christmas cookies or defend himself. So of course he wasn't about to let her go and went chasing after her leading to one exciting adventure and in the end hopefully Medjed just might get his wish.
