Kellz Kimberly 24, fell in love with urban fiction after reading 'Baby Girl' by Jihad. The was only the first of many urban fiction novels she fell in love with. Eventually Kellz took her love for reading it and redirected it to a pen & paper. Dropping her first book in 2014 Kellz Kimberly has been building a name for herself ever since. With 27 books under her belt & 9 of them being Amazon Urban Fiction Number One Best Seller, Kellz Kimberly is just getting started.
She is slowly but surly taking the Urban fiction world over by storm. She recently took home the AAMBC BreakOut Author of The Year award, solidifying her as a force to be reckon with. This is only the start for Kellz Kimberly, she is always working and coming with new material to give readers then same feeling she got when she read her first urban fiction book.
Not only is she an author but she is a publisher as well. She works with her authors to help them pursue their dreams and encourages them to tell their story in a form of another story.
At only 24 she has accomplished a lot but she's nowhere near done with her list of goals. For her writing is so much more than just telling a story. It's about being able to have a reader full in love with a set of characters so much that they feel invested in the book. For her that is the greatest feeling of.
The best way to sum up Kellz Kimberly is 'She Writes, She Grinds, She Slays"
Kellz you gave a good read. You touched on mental illness, jealousy, envy, selfishness, growth, unconditional love. I thought this was a great story of life lessons, love and understanding. Rhamier, had some emotional scars that he had to learn how to overcome them and survive, which he did. Never having a good male roll model hurt him in ways that could've broken him all the way down. Learning about his mother sent him to a dark place mentally. Meeting Dream wasn't something he had planned on but as fate would have it they would end up needing each other. Boogie met Rhamier and the relationship was one neither knew how much their lives would gel on one page. Boogie was such a level headed guy, and he was his brother's keeper. Nai was Dreams best friend, Boogie air he breathed and they went through much drama from her parents, who ended up being snakes. Rhamier loved Dream with his whole heart, the crew was there for her when Messiah thought he would snatch her world from her, but God had other plans, life lessons, some bumps in the road, learning how to deal with emotions and learning to leave fear at the doorstep. These four joined by blood and love had a journey that showed how love, trust and communication can turn anything around. Great Job🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
I had zero respect for Nai mother Camille. Camille turned her nose up at Boogie because he was from the hood but yet she came from the same hood. She also is trifling and scandalous for having Nai father beat on her. One thing I can say is that when Nai left her mother and father house. Boogie definitely made sure she was well taken care of. Rhamier was an angry young man but he had his reason's. I didn't blink when he got at Polo because Polo deserved it. I just felt bad for Rhamier losing his mother. His anger towards his father was somewhat warranted. It was shocking learning the connection between Rhamier and Boogie. I believe Rhamier Sr. was trying to right his wrongs but it didn't end the way he thought. Dream truly do have an heart. Trying to help Rhamier changed her life drastically once her father Messiah found out. That lead Rhamier and Boogie to make a deal with the devil. Messiah was scandalous, evil, treacherous, and heartless. Rhamier and Boogie rise to the top brought out a lot of secrets. Messiah thought he had them fool but they definitely ended up outsmarting him.
I loved it. This was a great read. Nothing or no one puts fear into Rhamier's heart. Polo was a real bish boy, he didn't have to do Rhamier's mama like that but he got what he deserved. I kinda felt bad for Rhamier Sr. because the choices he made was the best for him and Boogie even if he did miss out on Rhamier's life. Now I see why it was so easy for Messiah to kick Dream, his own daughter out only to realize it would be his biggest regret. Rhamier did exactly what he'd promised to Dream. They were each others rider even if he couldn't say those three words every woman longed to hear. I'm glad he came to his senses even though Dream would always choose Rhamier. I liked Sanai but she was nerve wracking at times. She the reason Dream even gave Rome the time of day. I'm glad Rhamier and his brother Boogie bonded like brothers should. I understand why Dream wasn't feeling a relationship with Santiago, even tho Messiah was wrong on so many levels he still put Dream first whereas Santiago didn't even fight for her.💌💌
Polo was a p**k. Rhamier didn't take shit off of anyone. I wish that Rhamier mom would've left Polo before he took her life. I loved Rhamier and Dream story cause it was bound to happen. Reggie just set himself up to die. Sanai irk me at times but I was glad when she found out the truth about her parents and gave them a taste of their own medicine. It's crazy how Rhamier and Boogie were really brothers, I was glad they overcome everything and Bossed tf up together. Rhamier Sr. knew his fate when he went to see Messiah. Messiah snake azz was harsh towards Dream, that's why he got his karma. Dream was a real rider and loyal to Rhamier. Overall great read!
I did not see this story playing out like this at all but i really enjoyed it. Rhamier was really troubled and it makes you wonder what people are going through or holding onto today that makes them act a certain way? Im glad that Dream was there and never gave up on him. I loved the friendship and dynamic between Dream, Nai, Rhamier, & Boogie. But you cant have a good book without the hating characters. And in this case it was definitely Messiah & Camille...& im glad they got exactly what they deserved. There were some grammatical errors in this book but i was still able to understand what was happening. Good read overall.
Mann!! All the lying and scheming Messiah did just to end up in the dirt. Why Santiago hadn't put him in the dirt after Lauren came up missing was a mf. Messiah was a mf! What way to keep the plug at bay by raising the plugs child. Ram and Boog got caught in a shit storm causing jealousy and no problems than one. Dream so much like her mother Messiah evil ass couldn't take the shit he dished out. Lol I am glad Sanai was still choosing Boog over her mom. That bitch never had her daughter's feels to consider but her ass to kiss. I loved this book. What an exceptional read!!!
It all started in the hood. If dream hadn't pulled that gun on rhameir then they wouldn't have never meant. It was a up and down rollercoaster with them two. At plenty times I wanted to put hands on both of them for just being stubborn. Messiah was just a manipulating man who acted childish when he couldn't get his way. Boogie and nai stuck together through everything glad that they were still together in the end. glad everything worked out for everybody and rhameir finally said I love you to dream.
I loved the way Rhamier stood his own. He was fighting demons but with the help of Dream standing by his side,he overcame it all. The hatred was real. Messiah only thought about himself and he got what he deserved. It was a long time coming. Camille got off easy but her life will forever be a living hell. Nai and Boogie was solid and no matter what they never let anyone or anything change that. Dream saw something in Rhamier not knowing him at all. That turned out to be the best decision for the both of them. Great Job
I loved this story! Rhamier and Dream had you on an emotional rollercoaster! The love they had for each other was so real that you couldn't help but feel it. I wanted to cry with Dream lol. Silk she wanted was to hear those three words and Rhamier just couldn't do it, but we all knew he was crazy about her. The love Boogie and Nai shared was so sweet. I'm so glad that they remained together and that the pinky real problems they shared were about him spending time with her. I'm glad he wasn't it there slanging wood to every chick once he came up.
WOW!! I couldn't put this one down. When I tell U Dream & Rham were hilarious to me... Nai & Bronx... 2 much... Playing w ppls lives is something serious.... BUT karma is definitely real.... IDK Y I felt something was off w Rome & Mike... Just didn't seem genuine.... Glad everything worked out for all parties... Awesome Read 🙌🙌 I was praying that this was NOT going 2 B a continuation.... Please read 🤩🤩
I definitely enjoyed reading this book wow messiah and nai mother was salty all because the guys their kids were dating it was just crazy but these guys wasn't a fool they knew what to do with using their brains together they had some real deep dark secrets in this book dream was definitely not playing with people she had me cracking up the way she was giving hand work to people that girl was something else I liked her..dope read
I wanted to like this book because I’ve loved many books by the author. It was too much back and forth between Dream and Rahmier which became unbearable. I skipped through a lot of the book because I was so tired of them. At about 90% the book gets really good then rushed to only end abruptly. There are also many grammatical errors that I had to reread sentences to make sure I understood what was going on.
Rich Dreams, Hood Nightmares was the shit hands down. This book was so mf good. Kellz did her thang with this book. Who would’ve thought Messiah was that way. All those snakes they had around them. I love Dream & Rhy together. She was truly that man dream his ride or die. Boogie & Nai was made for each other. Overall this standalone was the bomb 💣 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I absolutely loved this standalone. Everything about this book flowed without leaving me confused. Questions were answered and you learned more and more as time went on. Kellz Kimberly definitely keep me wanting more! Everyone was finally able to get their happy ending and I loved that. I would most definitely recommend this read to friends and family.
Great read. Dream was good hearted. She was looking for love. Boogie and Rhamier were damage from childhood and just needed unconditionally love. Nai and Dream wanted to treated like they mattered and were important which was exactly what Boogie and Rhamier provided to them.
Omg this book was everything when I say it had my attention from beginning to end I mean that so many lies and secret’s had me on edge I’m so glad it ended how i expected it to but when I tell y’all this a must read it’s a must you will not be disappointed
Ramere and Boogie and spite of all they had to go through they remain true to each other as brothers should. Dream was a rider through it all I love the way she loved Sania is also a rider so I can understand them being friends. This book was amazing Miss Kimberly you really did your thing on this and I can’t wait to read more
Definitely a page turner a must read. Love Dream and Rhamier relationship they both been through a lot… Love Boogie and Nai relationship happy everyone got there happy ending. They all made it through the drama and mess great read🔥🔥
Man this was a really great book! I loved the complexities, and the growing each of the characters had to face. They had some messed up parents, but I’m glad they all turned out alright.
I loved everyone. I cried and laughed and cried some more because I thought that Dream and Rhamier wasn’t going to make it. I couldn’t believe that Messiah was really sitting them up like that he was definitely wrong. I can’t wait to see what you have coming next.
This book was good as hell!!!! All of the action and drama and will keep u on the edge of your seat! I absolutely loved the plot twist.. I was not expecting that at all! Definitely a must read!!
Intricately detailed full of sub plots and back stories!
I loved this book an appreciate the fact that Kellz wrote the hell out of it. Not a spoiler type of reviewer so no details but this is a great book that won't leave you disappointed!
I have been following this talented young lady for years. I love every book I've read by her. I would like to advise everyone who reads to check out this gifted young lady.
Man oh Man, these nuts made my blood rise. Love is an action true enough but hearing the words are still important. Boogie was a sweetheart and Nai was his heart. These 2 were actually my favorite. Dream was a lil...nevermind. Good book.
This was a great read. It had so many pots, twists and turns you didn't see coming. It just shows you how trauma from you past can keep you from having the future you want It can destroy something you built because you can't make peace with the past
Kellz you did your ish with this read! These characters were going through their own individual thing but learned from it all throughout the book. Nai and Boogie and Dream and Rhamier are my couple baes. Really wish it didn’t have to end. Amazing job
