Damn! Erica and Colby have the fights of their lives. Colby never in a million years thought when he met Erica his life would change forever. He was making a deal with a beautiful woman who turned out to be undercover cop. She made him a deal that turned out to be the fight of their lives. Colby was attracted to her. After being together she revealed who she was and if he turns informant. The man he works for doesn’t do lose ends and tries to kill them. Colby’s boss will not have anyone alive to testify against him. I was feeling for them. The attraction between them is off the charts. Between the lovemaking the try to fit in they have to stay alive to take down the top man in charge. Erica doesn’t know who she can trust. Her follow police officers are on the take. They have to get out of tight situations like her pulling the cop car over and having her way with him. Colby’s boss sends men to kill them. They find a way to get out of this. Trying to hide out at a motel the room is fire bombed. I didn’t think they would make it. Some how some way they fought to not be burned alive and they made it. It doesn’t stop there. Erica has feelings for Colby she has never had for anyone. Colby thought his life was over until Erica walked in it. He is falling hard for her. In his eyes she is sexy, smart and has a determination he has never seen. I don’t know how they made it out alive. This was a great story. I definitely recommend this series

Feisty undercover cop meets her match in a younger man. I loved the feistiness of Erica’s character and how she initially plays hunky student, Colby. I enjoyed the development of their relationship as their feeling deepen and she ‘turns’ him from crime into an informant, thus placing them both in serious danger. The reader is teased with the ups and downs of the plot as the pair are betrayed and simply don’t know who to trust. I did find a slight irritation with the liberal steamy scenes, constantly interrupted by a new imminent danger, once or twice adds to the thriller element of the story, but this ‘device’ is somewhat over-used in my opinion. My main criticism is that this was originally a series of 5 novellas and it unfortunately shows in this ‘omnibus’ edition. The narrative feels a bit stilted and ‘rushed’ in places; however, a reasonable romantic thriller.

This is the complete five book romantic suspense series in one convenient package.

This is a short romantic suspense series with a high level of steam. The stories are well written and easy to read with well developed characters and plot. Eah story gives us a nice blend of action and steam all leading up to a dramatic conclusion. The stories are very engaging and hard to put down, so it is nice to have them all together. This has been a great series and I look forward to reading more by this author.

This book was my first read from this author. Erica and Colby, ah these two. I absolutely loved the first person point of view which is always a deal breaker for me. I read this boxset in one sitting I couldn't put it down.

The author has given us the entire series with this collection. The story pulls us into the lives of Erica and Colby and keeps us there. This set is difficult to put down since each book ends with a cliffhanger.

Handcuffed Desires is this complete box set of the Handcuffed series. It was a forbidden romance.

DNF @ 56%. I struggled with Erica and Colby’s book. No real chemistry between them, it all felt rushed and their story didn’t flow well.
