I received Cursed Mates in return for an honest review.
Finally free of the social life that my parents have kept my conscripted into escaping to NYU should be a dream. Bonus my crush and bestie will be by my side for the whole adventure. However, everything spirals out of control on my 21st birthday when the truth and past have come crushing back to me. Now the life I had is even more complicated but it does have its own perks. My crush Cassian is now my werewolf mate and he's not the only one his rival Griffin happens to be the other werewolf mate. Toss in a witch or two who don't like me things are just starting to get interesting.
I liked Emily right from the start she's got issues but who doesn't in this day and age. I felt that I was able to connect with her as we both lost a parent the same exact way. It was almost a little creepy but I think it's what made it easier to love her more. I'm so conflicted on the boys I don't have a favorite I like Cassian because he clearly loves her and Griffin I'm so torn on.
This is my first book by the author so I was very excited to check it out as she's been on my list for a while. Cursed Mates is a fast paced action packed story about Emily coming into her powers and discovering who she is. The author has a captivating writing style it was easy to lose all track of time and read the whole book in one sitting. I truly enjoyed every moment of Emily's story, I can't wait to dive into the next installment and see what happens next. Highly recommend for fans of young adult shifter books.

I loved this! Fast paced and action packed this grabbed me from the very start as we meet Emily our fmc whose strong and kickass especially when she discovers she has powers!! Then throw in two fates mates, one the nice , sweet guy, the other is a total ass and someone you love to hate! It’s an exciting and enthralling storyline full of mystery, suspense and I cannot wait to see how it progresses in the next book!

Characters were too immature for me. Also seemed like things just jumped from a to b and didn’t feel the logic in the jumps. Like FMC, she needs to find the ancient one to find out who she is after finding out she is a witch and her parents aren’t her parents and her first thought isn’t to ask her mom(adopted?) regardless of her bad relationship I feel that would have been the place to start on finding out who her birth parents were.
Cassian’s dislike for Griffin cause after a fight with Cassian’s pack member he split with his pack and is now rogue but he doesn’t talk to Griffin to find out his side of the story just takes other people’s word and now dislikes him.
Griffin not wanting to be mated cause his life isn’t great so he automatically decides to find a way to break the mate bond when he doesn’t even know her, when she is likely the only mate he will get?
Emily can’t control her powers and what no other witch is even capable of helping her a little? And she needs to find the ancient one, who apparently is manipulative and likes to play games, to teach her. And despite that they are gonna wait a couple weeks till after finals? I mean she burned down the library and could have died but sure let’s wait to take some tests. Cause no one can do anything in the meantime but study and go to parties.
Just no.

Series good, way too long
This series is 5 books long. Very long. It would have been better as three books. There is so much silly drama and angst it became boring. There is no sex, but lots of paranormal violence. Basically the main characters spend five books making terrible mistakes while trying to defeat the horrid villain. It becomes more frustrating as the reader is treated to the bad guys' pov and it makes you want to scream at the good guys for being so stupid. I did read all five books, but tbh I had to skip whole boring sections to get to the end. If you have the time and want to be immersed in the minutiae of these characters lives, go for it.
Spoilers:
It makes no sense that the wolves lose the whole night, then sleep. How do they have any time to do all the other things described? The whole timeline is strange? First it's hundreds of years, then it's 21 years? Maybe I missed it.
Two full books describe the characters travelling to different realms to no avail? Why include these?
Two mates and no consumption is just silly.

Another fantastic series by an amazing author. Sara really digs deep and brings so much life and personality to her characters, it's draws you in and leaves you wanting more. Following Emily on her journey of self discovery after learning that she's a high powered witch and most of the creatures that go bump in the night are real, she also finds out she has not 1 but 2 mates. Not quite understanding what that means for her, Emily, Cassian, Morgan and Griffin set out for the all knowing ancient one for answers that hopefully shed more light on who she is, where she came from and how to break the curse. With other intentions that don't benefit Emily only personal gain, will Morgan's intentions be what she hoped for or will it be another problem to add to Emily's long list of issues to deal with. Must read and find out

This is a new to me author and I feel like I have seriously been missing out. Cursed Mates has all the things! Emily is a strong FMC and I am really loving her and watching her journey as well as her new found powers that she never new she had. I also love that she has 2 mates and that one is hella sweet and the other is the bad boy you cant help to love and you hate yourself for because he is an alpha-hole. I am really looking forward in seeing how their relationships and story progresses this is just the beginning so I have a lot of unanswered questions that I am sure we will be getting answers to in the upcoming books and I cannot wait. This book had me planted on my couch and I could not put it down. Now I need to make a list so I cant start reading all of this author’s previous work.

Two hot Alphas check. One sweet and loving wanting to give you the world. One who doesn't want you and will stop at nothing to break the bond check and check! Powers that come out of know where triple check! Cassian is that friend every girl wants to be friends with, and secretly crushes on. Emily doesn't think Cassian is interested in anything more then friendship and is okay with that. He has been there for her when her parents haven't. But there is more to Cassian then she knew. Inter Griffin bad boy you love to hate! Definitely have to watch out for him! So much going on definitely a must read!

Witches an werewolves at there best, or worst. Weres were curse centuries ago. There was war between witches and weres around same time. They must shift every night and it's agonizingly painful. Many go feral from madness.
The fmc had no clue she was a witch until her 21st birthday. Everything she thought she knew changes. Two mates not one. How though wolves only bond with wolfs. The fmc her two mates and a witch in love with one them search for answers. There's a lot going on in this book and a few answers are found but more await in book two.

First time read with this author and I absolutely loved it. It was fabulous to read with a strong FMC Emily and two mates. One of course is super sweet and one you just want to slap but hey we all love the bad boy don't we!!! Their relationship is great and you just can't put the book down once you start reading it. Must admit I'm off to find other books she's written because I've obviously missed out on a great author

Well, that will throw you for a loop! Awesome start to a new series! Finding out you are witch and that you have two mates can cause some issues. This first book covered some of the backstory, but did not tell us much about Griffin. The werewolves in this book are not like the ones in others I have read. They really are monsters but because of a curse. The group finds out how to break the curse but it will not be an easy road. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book!

This was my first read by Sara Snow and I was not disappointed! I love Emily's strength, she just keeps going strong when challenges arise. I enjoyed the mystery and the bit of chaos in Emily learning she has powers and more then one mate. I can not wait to see what Sara has in store for us next. I will be downloading her backlist!

Great Read
Another great read by Sara Snow. I Really hope Emily comes out of shell and take charge of her life. At this moment in the story I really don’t like Morgan and Griffin is not much better. I do hope the Emily and Cassian give their mate bond a chance. Looking forward to reading the next book.

I received an ARC for this book. What a great start to a series. Emily embarks on a journey to find herself. She learns about the whole supernatural world in a bad way. Her 2 Mates don't get along. I can't wait for the next book!

Was very good. I was recommended to read from a friend and received the book and promised an honest review. I loved the characters and the pacing of the story. Everything flowed and it was hard to put down. I’m glad I read it.

Book #1 in the Cursed Mate series and I am completely hooked. Every book I read from Sara always takes me on an adventure and keeps getting better and better and more addictive. Bring on #2.

I simply couldn't get into it. I couldn't find the characters believable, and I was disappointed with how it ended. I found myself hurrying to finish instead of savoring it.

Emily has had a crush on her bff Cassian since high school and on her 21st birthday after some upsetting news she comes into powers she didnt know she had. along the way she finds out Cassian's is a Alpha WereWolf and his enemy Griffin who also is an Alpha are her mates. She isnt going to have an easy time with these two Alphas thats for sure hehe. i cant wait for the next book in this series to release.

Sara has given us another action packed supernatural book. Emily has grown up normal but when she goes off to college and turns 21 she finds out she is a witch and she has 2 werewolf mates. They go on hunt to figure out who her parents really are. This book has several curves so hold tight, and the end........
