Ever since I planted my butt firmly in the Dragon King’s throne, my already-rogue magical powers have multiplied. My magic has developed an unfortunate tendency to blow things up whenever I’m unhappy.
I’m Queen of the isle. I’m also Queen of the wreckage.
So while I master my powers, I’ll be the hidden queen. Jaik rules in the north as the dragon king. His brother, Caldren, rules the rebels in the south as the wolf king. And I’m caught between them, as always. Hopefully, my ambitious men are merely keeping the thrones warm. I trust them. Mostly.
But the biggest problem I have is the Lord of the Scourge, the monstrous king who has every intention of claiming me and dragging me off to his zombie castle.
In the meantime, I’m back at the academy where my adventure began. Damyn, the older dragon knight that my men and I all look up to, helps me master my powers...and ignores the heat igniting between us.
Arren, the grouchy but loyal warrior who stood beside me in the gladiatorial games, is locked up at the academy with me too… trying to resist the zombie virus taking him over. Turning him into a monster.
And all the while, the Lord of the Scourge waits for me. He’s my best chance of saving Arren.
And he’s my best chance of losing myself.

Dragged on too much

While I’ve been enjoying much of this series, it has been dragging on too long. I think this book or the last should have been the conclusion. It’s been so complicated and honestly I’m losing interest in even saving the kingdom because it seems like everyone is an a$$. Also, I’m really having some problems with the fact that Honor wants to sleep with so many people. It’s getting a bit ridiculous. She also has never been bothered by her desire to sleep with all these men
Which seems unrealistic. I get that she’s got a bond with the Royals but then why do we need her to kiss Damyn. And then the bond with Zehr, which she at least fights. I will read the last book because I am hooked at this point but I’m no longer loving the story as much.

Good story, but it is beginning to drag a bit

Good points: The storyline is very intriguing and pulls you in. The prologue is excellent. It shows how Arren and Talisyn’s fathers really do love them, unlike the other dragon royal heirs whose fathers are utter assholes. They truly think they’re doing what’s best for their sons, even though they are completely misguided
Bad points: I think with some good editing, this series could have been condensed into 2 maybe 3 books. Maybe cut down the amount of fighting she does with her men, particularly Jaik. I mean, damn, those 2 fight so much they have no business being together. It just makes her words ring hollow when she talks about how much she loves him. Ugh! And she keeps throwing in their faces the fact that SHE is the QUEEN guys. The. Queen. Well, if you’re the queen bitch wtf aren’t you on the throne? Why do you need Jaik to “hold the throne” for you?

To my mind, the problem with series like this, is that you are constantly stuck with the same main character. I realize the entire series is really Honor’s story, but it does get tedious to have so many books about the same character in the same storyline. Perhaps I just prefer a series where there’s a group of characters, but each book is about a different person within that group. It’s still nice to see characters from previous books making appearances in all the books within a series, but when the entire series is really only about one person or one couple it just seems to get tiresome after a while. I think that’s where I’m at in this series.

Here we do have a group, but since they’re all men in her harem, the story always comes back to Honor. And after so many books in her head or the people around her still thinking about her and everything they do is about her, I do find it very tedious. And I think that’s my problem here, I’m tired of the FMC.

I don’t want you to think this is a horrible book, because it’s not. Perhaps I’m one of the few readers that feels this way about these types of series. I won’t deny I’m a little bit sad about it, because I really really liked the FMC in the first book. She was young, sassy, brash and just a lot of fun to read. Maybe I’d find the series more interesting if it was just a ménage between her and the two brothers, Jaik and Caldren. With the rest of the men in that group in a more supporting role. As it is now, the chapters that are not from Honor’s POV, it’s the men and they spend most of that time talking about or thinking about Honor and it’s just too much. I hope this makes some type of sense.

My irritation with Honor aside, I really am still engaged in the storyline. So I do plan on reading the next book when it’s released. And I would still recommend the book to readers of this genre. As I stated above is not a bad book, maybe I’m the only reader that has issues with so many books about the same person.

This is definitely the best Honor yet! She’s scrambling to save her men and discovering long held secrets. I can’t wait for this epic conclusion!

What the actual hell? Guys are we reading the same book?!

The story is getting tedious, the sex scenes are getting tedious. There are so much of them and the timing is just so freaking icky. Sure we just saved Arren from being a monster, instead of asking him how's he feeling or anything else, let's just fuck him.
The plot doesn't make sense at some points. How did Honor know HOW to save Arren EXACTLY with a fracture of the stones? She could not possibly have known that there was an assasin after Caldren because she was with Zehr the whole time. So much simply doesn't add up.

Zehr is handsdown the best character. He is witty and cunning and has more than one braincell. Although he wants Honor, he doesn't make it his whole personality to fuck and protect her.

Ughh I am getting frustrated. Gonna read the next one only because I wanna know how this story ends. It had so much potential....

Literally losing my mind every book with Tal spelled…

I keep reading and hoping for a resolution or counterspell for Tal’s issues, but another book without any help. I’m dying here!

A slog.

This one was honestly an absolute slog to read. The scenes between Honor and Zehr are so very drawn out and really dry and boring. I've devoured the other books a few hours at a time. This one has taken me almost 3 days to trawl through. I almost DNF at one point because I was sick of it. I'm glad it left off where it did. I'll try the next one. Hopefully it picks up again.

Wow the plot twists in this series more so in this book just blow my mind. Its so fast paced and action packed that you have to really keep track or youll miss something theres so much going on in this.

Honor (FMC) is right in the middle of so many different people both good and bad with differing agendas. She ends up having to team up with Zahr - The Scourge Lord. Its thin line between love and hate. It certainly is with both of them. The banter they had did make me laugh in places though. I did love all of the POV's from all of the main characters. It all added to keep me on my toes. As did that ending. Im dying to get my hands on the last book now

Come on Honor!!! I know thing seems like everything is going wrong, but you got this. I cheered for Honor and her Royals throughout the whole book. But even though it is hard times, it does get easier.

There are ups and downs but they got this. Will they be able to keep peace and everyone calm or will their headstrong ways get in the way.

So if you like wild rides, with adventure, danger love and a touch of magic. Oh and let us not forget Dragons, I love me a good Dragon story. I would highly recommend this series.

Just when I don't think this series can get any better, the author May Dawson yet again knocks it out of the park. Honor and her guys just can't get a break, they haven't been able to since book one. I originally went into this book thinking it was the last one but I was pleasantly surprised to find out there's at least one more to go.

So many plot twists on this wild ride with Honor and her guys as she tries to save everyone not just herself. Brilliantly written, and a series that is definitely one of my favourites. I can't wait to see what is to come in the next book.

As with all the others this book was impossible to put down! Right off the bat I was on the edge of my seat.

This book had more twists and turns than any of the others and it was a wolf ride reading them try to navigate through it all.

Honor is finding herself and learning her magic, the royals has their own issues to deal with pertaining to the isle, on top of keeping honor safe.

The character growth in this book is huge! Especially for the royals and coming to terms on what that fiery she dragon really means to them.

I’m anxiously awaiting the epic conclusion of their story!

I am zooming through this series maybe reading electronically does go a lot faster than reading and annotating a physical book. I really enjoy the swapping of prescriptive within this book and I found myself excited to see more of characters like Kehr and Damyn to really get to see the world from their eyes, and better understand them so they felt more real to me. We get to see Honor stay true to who she is but starting to follow through on her plans on her own without as much help from her men as much as they want to protect her from all harm. The more I learned about her past and her lineage it filled me with so many more questions and curiosities as to how certain people can be so powerful yet make such insane decisions with all that power. Overall the writing throughout the series could have used some more editing to have it flow better, and check spelling errors along with some continuity errors I found. Aside from the need of more polish I really enjoyed the story for what it is overall. When it comes to the spicier scenes though they started to feel predictable and routine to me. The men used the same words to describe Honor and would often have sex with her in the same way without much variation. You can tell the men apart in how they treat her most of the time in the spicy moments, but Honor's actions and words to describe her men felt repetitive. There was variation between each man, but the words used to describe them never changed. What makes up for that is the fact that she's flirting and or sleeping with a total of eight men; which goddamn that’s a lot… You go Honor! I can only imagine an impossible scene when it would be all of them and her together at the same time in some alternate timeline. I enjoyed seeing the shift in the world as the magic thus present and future are being forever changed. I am excited to see Honor learn the whole truth about her parents and the wild horrifying magic deal they made to make their isle the way it's been for over two centuries. I will be continuing the series because I NEED to know how they save their people and hopefully keep both their magic and shifting abilities. More than anything I can’t wait to see what I believe will be many parallels between Honor's and her mother's lives.

3.75/5 stars if you have read the previous books I recommend continuing the series to see it through and enjoy the wild life of Honor and her men!

Trigger Warnings this Book Contains:
Attempted Murder, Attempted Rape, Blood, Bones, Child Death, Death, Decapitation, Emotional Abuse, Fire, Gore, Murder, Physical Abuse, Profanity, Sexually Explicit Scenes, Violence, War

The Lord of the Scourge has punished Honor for betraying him and bitten Arren. He then let his wave of scourge descend upon the garden and left. Arren is left in grave danger. No one knows how to fight off the scourge once it has afflicted someone, and that means that Arren will inevitably turn scourge. The Dragon Royals band together and work towards finding a way to save Arren, although they bind him with iron and strap him down. Jaik has also decided that if Arren loses himself and goes too far; they will kill him. The team then transports Arren to the academy, so that the best scientists and healers can work toward healing him and potentially understand the progression of the scourge condition. He is bound by dragonsbane and left in a cage, in the basement, where no one can interact with him. In the meantime, Jaik and Caldren have agreed to stand in as the “acting” Kings. Caldren for the Prey and Jaik as the Predator/Royalty until Honor feels ready to take over her throne as the legitimate queen of the land. Honor, being Honor, has decided to enjoy her time back at the academy by returning to the maid’s quarters and gossiping with her friends, where she confirms she is a dragon shifter. Things begin shifting at the academy now that Jaik is “acting” King, prey shifters demand to be treated as equals, to learn as students and soldiers. The other nobility of the city demands that Jaik take the crown in a ceremony. To ease all tensions, they hold a reconciliation ball, a place where everyone can get drunk and forget their worries. However, things go awry, Honor is forced into making a decision that puts everyone’s lives at risk. She must work with Zehr, The Lord of the Scourge, to save her Royals, although she’s not entirely sure she can trust him.

Obviously, at this point, this book sticks with high fantasy. We are not necessarily introduced to new worlds, but instead, a new portion of the already existing known world. There is a re-introduction of an already existing magical race of people. The book continues a reverse harem trope, balancing her current men and adding new ones. The book continues to allow readers to read from multiple points of view, not always following a completely linear timeline, but instead experiencing events as they occur to those that they occur to/around.

This was done similarly to the previous books. It picks up where the last book ended. I think that this book was mediocre. It was exceedingly slow, the first nearly 40 percent covered Arren being bitten and then transporting him to the academy. After that 40 percent mark, it starts to come alive. There are some interesting moments in the book, new revelations, and new information; those moments are wonderful. This book continues the trend of editing errors, continuity errors, and character confusion. In the last review of “Sacred Honor,” I stated that if you cannot push past mistakes, it may not be worth pursuing this series. I would honestly double down on that at this point. This book has 431 pages. I would honestly not recommend reading past this point, just because of the errors. I will simply continue to read because I do not like to “DNF” books, especially series. This book is not recommended for anyone below 18 due to the graphic sexually explicit scenes.

If you haven't read the previous books in this series, STOP! Go back and read them first, they need to be read in order.

King Pend and Terin are dead. Gorion and Joachim are in hiding. Zehr is angry at Honor's betrayal and bites Arren which will cause him to turn. Now they have to find a way to cure him.

Honor's friends at the Academy Calla, June and Elle want to attend the Academy even though they are prey shifters. While that's not a good idea since the other attendees are predators, they have a valid argument. That argument involves exposing the fact that Honor is a dragon shifter.

Calla, June and Elle's training class was brutal for Honor to watch so she decides to lend a hand. They call her out on it afterwards. They can't learn if she jumps in all the time.

The Nobels want a quick coronation because the magic is a bit wild. Little do they know the real reason for that. In lieu of a coronation they want a Court of Inquiry. That would be followed by a ball.

Honor wants to sneak into her old home and grab one of her gowns, but Jaik won't hear of it. She will have a new gown.

I found it amusing that those nobel woman want to copy her, even as their words disparage her.

There are plenty of problems here, what with Caldren in the South and Jaik in the North. Then there's the Lord of the Scourge, Zehr, who has set his sights on Honor and also Arren. Lots of interesting things going on with him.

Honor's uncle the King Kallum of the Gray Isle shows up in this book as well, seems he's being sneaky too.

Talisyn still has no prior memory of Honor, yet he feels something toward her, it's not remembering that is bothering him.

Branok and Lynx both have sort of declared themselves, and I love the way Branok always surrounds her bed with shiny and valuable trinkets.

Then there's Damyn, he's fighting the feelings he has for Honor and trying to be the best teacher and knight for her.

I couldn't put this book down, and I have already started the final book in this series.

Difficult decisions!
There is a lot of angst and challenge in this penultimate book of the series mostly drawing Honor’s harem a part 😣
Picking back up right after the traumatic events at the end of book three, they are immediately faced with the awful choice of what to do with Arren after he has been subjected to the curse!
With the trouble brewing in the Isle between Cauldrens rebel lands and the lands now held by Jaik they have to split up and head to the academy for Honor to develop her magic the land has given her 💪🏻
Despite it being a safer option for Honor being a dragon shifter the information begins to leak spelling hope for some people but trouble for others potentially putting her in serious danger - alongside the two brothers who are currently ruling the divided lands!
Dealing with all this trouble in the Isle on top of fractures in her own harem with Tal still not recovering from what his father stole from him and the curse progressing for Arren they have some difficult decisions 😔 Honors takes her to Zehr and puts her in a world of trouble both physically and emotionally but she knows it maybe the only thing to bring back Arren 😬 and actually has far wider reaching consequences for the curse and the Isle!
The majority of this book Honor and her men are split apart so there are less 🔥🔥 times but actually for some of them - even those on the sideline it gives them the opportunity to come to terms with their feelings for the wild she dragon 😍
At times the pacing felt a little slow in this one but there was a lot of crucial information being revealed!
This book has outed a lot of secret agendas and Honor has shown her strength in not bowing to any of them, she does not went the role that has been put upon her but honestly she is showing herself as the best option with her tenacity to do what's right no matter the obstacles and chances that it
won’t work 👏🏻👑👏🏻

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "WILD HONOR" This was a phenominal story that hooks you from the start so full challenges, magic, danger, intrigue, secrets, action, angst, mystery, suspense, steam, you can't put this book down until finished.
Honor still can't figure out why she has a connection to Zephr even in her dreams he's the Lord of the Scourge who attacks her & the Royal Dragon's.
Zephr locks eyes with Honor his fangs dropping with Arren's blood I made it easy for you to betray me I'll always come for you but I won't make this easy as he sinjs his fangs deep into Arren' s throat again Jake in Dragon form dives for Zephr but slams to the ground Zephr disappears.
Jake picks up Arren takes him to the castle their worries about him becoming a zombie can they save him in time.
Honor is Queen of the Isle but also Queen of the wreckage she's trying to master her powers she'll be the hidden Queen, Jake rules in the North as a Dragon King, his brother Caldren rules the the rebels in the South as a Wolf King, she's caught between them as always she trust her men mostly but her biggest problem is Lord of the Scourge who has every intension of claiming Honor & drag her off to the Zombie Castle.
I definitely recommend to get this nonstop action story so much happens you can't put down such a riviting, interesting, entertaining, mindblowing, intense drama you don't want miss getting.
I'm so looking forward to the next BOOK in this excellent series "ROYAL HONOR" can't come soon enough. AWESOME AWESOME READ!!!!!

May Dawson has done it again with Wild Honor, the fourth book in her Dragon Royals Series!!! If you’ve become invested in this series of Honor and her men then this one will not disappoint!!!

This story picks up with Honor and her men still dealing with issues with their never ending scheming fathers, the rebellion, secrets galore and of course the Scourge and all that entails—because what kind of story would it be if life was easy for our crew?!?! Especially with the intriguing Lord of the Scourge in the midst!

I love how we are finally getting to see how the entire story is slowly coming together, how some long awaited information has been revealed and how well Honor and all her delicious men are finally coming together—even with one catastrophe after another coming their way!!! And even though so many questions are finally answered, there are still plenty more to keep you craving more!

Full of magic, suspense, adventure, drama and tons of sexy shifters and mysterious monsters galore this series is an absolute must read for any paranormal RH shifter romance fan because Dawson has once again delivered another powerful punch with this addition to such a fantastic series! I can’t wait for the final book to come our way so we can see how their story ends!!! And let me just say I 100% absolutely need more of Damyn!!!

Like all the other books before, also Wild Honor takes off where the last one finished. Arren has been bitten by Zehr and is slowly turning into a Scourge. While Jaik and the others go back to the academy to find a solution for Arren and try to bring order into all the chaos, Caldren is still with the rebels. The isle is devided and Jaik and Caldren rule until Honor decides to take the throne at some point in the future. Seeing how dangerous it is to keep Arren in the academy and that they are not able to help him, Honor decides to help him flee and to go to Zehr into the Kingdom of Bones. Honor then tries to win over Zehr in order to help Arren and learns more about the course.

What I love about the series is that each book concentrates on different male love interests, Wild Honor concentrates mostly on Honor's and Zehr's story. Due to their prior betrayals their relationship is strained and difficult, bordering on dangerous. Book 4 has so many new twists and turns, the world-biulding takes it up another notch and we get little in sights into some of the mens' childhood. For me personally, Wild Honor was the best book of the series. Yes, we again had a little more mistakes in it, but I can look those over as they weren't as grave as in former books and the palpable tension und build-up in this book was just so very intriguing.

Book 4 picks up the story after Sacred Honor. The story will be confusing if you haven’t read the previous books in order. I’m continuing the series after several months, and I needed to review the characters and story so far. It would be best to binge the series. Watch for the change in PoV at chapter breaks. It will be confusing if you don’t realize who the speaker is and think it’s someone else.
The Old Royals are plotting to kill Honor at Pend’s order. Honor and Branok try to restore Talisyn’s memories. Arren is bitten by Zehr, the Scourge King, and is turning into a monster. Honor and the young Dragon Royals are desperate to cure him. Zehr marks Honor with a kiss. Honor returns the favor. Zehr and Honor and the other young Royals are trying to save Arren and reverse the curse of the Scourge. However, that will have extremely serious consequences. There are many plots afoot as the various characters strive for power, wealth, the throne, magic, and status. All Honor wants is books, chocolate, her men, and peace.
The book ends on a cliffhanger, so again, my recommendation is to get all the books before starting and binge the series. That way you don’t forget the backstories and relationships.

I’m going to try and not given too many spoilers so please read at your own risk.

May constantly amazes me with her stories and how she weaves all these twists and turns into her stories. Book 4 is an amazing continuation of the series. Through this book we learn more about the scourge and their king. I kind of have a soft spot for him now and feel bad for the life he had pushed upon him. I’m not happy with his choices but I get it. He has tried to make things right but went about it poorly. We also see Tal and Honor still struggling with how to move forward with their relationship with his missing memories and of course dealing with Arren who was bitten. Oh and let’s not forget the heating up of Damyn and Honors relationship. Can’t wait to see how that one unfolds. I was ecstatic with how this book ended on a happier note and practically screamed with joy. I cannot wait for the next book in the series to see how everything ends up and to see how Honor and her men get through everything being thrown at them. Also Tal is still my favorite but after this book Arren is a close second with Jaik

The amount of five star reviews on this is wild.

The editing is still really hard to bear, it‘s hard to follow where people are or just who is talking sometimes. Also it seems the author has 0 ideas how medieval economy works (I‘m gonna assume it‘s medieval since they have swords and live in castles, since we never get a better description…). Like the idea of going „shopping“ in a „fashion row“ is just blatently ignorant. What tailor would have had the money to make dresses to just have lie around? There weren‘t any department stores… or even worse the „fire alarm“ in the castle. Really? Come on….

Other than that: Jaik is just a blatant asshole at this point - that guy needs some serious therapy. I love that Lynx is getting darker and his brother is getting more some depth as well. It‘s annoying that they take so long to figure out the memory issue and the way Calden seems to develop into more and more of an ass also doesn‘t sit right with me. Arren is just a whiner ar this point.

I love Damyn who seems to be the obly sane person on the whole island and Zehr is the one currently keeping me reading. I hope he gets his powers back and gives those arrogant boys a spanking.

Really enjoyed this series! I was interested in the story and the relationships, so unfortunately I read 4 of the books in one day and can't really recall what happened in each book.

The relationships seemed to build organically, and there are definitely some surprises along the way! I feel like the plot moved quickly with a lot happening, but sometimes it felt like sections had been missed to explain a little more about what happened. This is slightly different from other RH books, as the series go on the group split up to achieve different tasks rather than all sticking together which was nice for a change.

There are some typos which while understandle do pull you out of the story a little, the worst ones were when names seemed to have autocorrected and I had to double check that it wasn't a new character (at one point there's a Darren, when the character is called Arren).

Overall, I really enjoyed the series and just wish we had gotten a longer epilogue/ending to see the group enjoying some peace!

“The two of us are two halves of one whole. One spell, broken into two shards. And so we have a claim on each other, but I’m not the one who’s called on that claim.”

“‘Honor is going to take her punishment like a good girl, aren’t you? Because you know you deserve it.’ He was right about that. I deserved it because I was awesome, and I liked it.”

“I don’t care what those worthless girls think of me, Jaik. But being the one you look at that way, the one who makes you smile…that makes me feel like a queen.”

Honor is getting closer to learning how to contain or eradicate the Scourge. Unfortunately, time is ticking, and the endeavor takes her away from her men and into the lair of the enemy. Honor’s tenaciousness and love for her men never fails to leave me awed and cheering when things go right and heartbroken when they don’t. This is the fourth book in a series and should be read in order. It is not a standalone. As always: CHECK TRIGGER WARNINGS!!!

Honor just can't seem to keep out of trouble. And worse her connection with the Lord of the Scourge continues to expand. As she tries to rescue all her men, even those she's unsure of, she has to find the strength to test out her new abilities and forge a new path for the kingdom. There is a ton of resentment from the way the Dragon Royals had been managing their ppl and the prey are starting to fight back. Will Honor be able to bring everything together? What's the deal with her uncle Kallus. I know May will do right by her fans and answer all our questions but I am truly sitting her impatiently waiting for that LOL. I love all the loyalty and love these royals show Honor and am hoping they all get there HEA. Come on May! If you haven't started this book yet, do it now. Royals, PNR, dragons, wolves, and a bunch of hot guys falling at the FMC feet. What more could you ask for?

Worn Out Welcome

Honor was such a compelling character. For the first 3 books I believed that she actually cared for her men. This book? She’s turned into some cartoon version of feminism. I am woman, hear me roar. I’ll do what I want and to hec with the consequences. When I think about it, Honor has been this way all along but dealing with Pend and company masked it. She’s selfish. She doesn’t respect herself much less the men she professes to love. At the end of the day, she is as toxic as Jaik…but at least her men have tried to be better FOR her. All she has done is turned into a simpering child. This series doesn’t even have a storyline anymore. It’s a series of interactions that make no sense. I usually love May Dawson, but this series needed a better mapping.

Meh

I think this series should have ended in the last book. I feel like the story is being delayed needlessly and I'm starting to get bored.

Things boring me:

Is Zehr bad or good? Right now it's up in the air. It's getting old.

Arren finally caves and is intimate with Honor, but it's taken a LONG time!

Honor has all these guys, but she seems hyper focused on pleasing Jaik. Why? The other guys are actually better.

Why do the Royal know so little about magic, the stones, the history, etc. when they are the heirs? I get the elder royalty had some secrets to protect themselves, but it seems ridiculous that the heirs don't know anything and so everything is taking forever to resolve.

Hopefully, the next book is the conclusion because I don't know how much more I can take of the lack of progression.

Arren has been bitten by Zahr, will he turn into a Scourge? Talisn still can't remember his love for Honor. Honor can't control her new powers. Caldren & Jaik both become King of two halves of the Isle. Branok finally admits his love for Honor & Lynx is given a new role too. Determined to save Arren, Honor frees him & escapes with him to the Scourge's caves. Can they survive Zahr & his Scourge? Can Honor save him & herself or will she fall for Zahr? Can the other Royals surive without their Honor & against all those plotting to kill them? This story continues to gain pace with very little trust for the main characters of those around them. Each of them unearthing different truths & learning new things. The grammar is terrible in places which spoils the flow of the book whilst trying to make sense of what should be written.

Honor and her guys are back! This is the fourth book of five and the revelations and hits keep coming. Finding out more about The Scourge kept me mesmerised. This book is exciting, fast paced, steamy and really, really good. The multi POV works so well with this story as there are so many moving parts to it. The dragon royals spend the last half of this book, split up. Although I missed their banter between each other, I really enjoyed seeing them all shine in their own ways. I cannot wait for the final book in this series, I'm sure it is going to be explosive. I have all my fingers and toes crossed for a very, very happy reunion for them all, an end to the impending wars and political games and a big ol orgy!

Stung my heart repeatedly

Honor, the only known female dragon shifter, has finally rid the isle of some of the old dragon regime in Sacred Honor and finds herself and her men in another dangerous situation. As the story progresses they attempt to hide some truths, the path they travel is very loose, and the enemy may be an ally they choose. May Dawson stung my heart repeatedly in Sacred Honor. Every time Honor and her men seem to be getting together without conflict, another dastardly plot is thrown in their way. The events planned have me worried about all of her men making it to the end of Royal Honor.

I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

While I process the fact that I now have to wait for the final installment of this series to be released, I’m trying to figure out how to put into words how I feel about the book.
So much is going on this world. Rebellion. Coup. Curses. Everyone is spread thin trying to combat everything and then there’s the self sacrifice that leads into I don’t know, I kinda got a hint of like a beauty and the beast vibe (not a retelling, just a vibe). Honor is a fricken beast and I’m all for it. And I really like that we get to see the other side of the magic. Not as black and white as people make things out to be. I can’t wait for the last book to come out!
(How do people write reviews? My mind is a jumbled mess when I try to explain myself 😂)

Wild Honor is the fourth book in the Dragon Royals series by May Dawson.

💜 Dragon shifters
💜 misunderstood curse
💜 who to trust
💜 forced proximity
💜 🌶🌶🌶🌶spice

This book picks right up where book three left off. Zehr has Arren in his grasp and he bit him. Honor is determined. Determined to save her men, learn her power, and stop the Scrouge, Honor will keep throwing herself into what she must and do what she must no matter what others may think. Will Arren turn into Scrouge? Will Honor be able to help figure out a way to get rid of the curse before it consumes Arren? Will everything work out?

The saga continues with Honors story. It kept me guessing at every turn. Something new popped up all of the time. I’m ready to read the next book to see how everything will turn out.
