This is my 12th book by Kaylee and she never disappoints me. She switched it up this time by writing about a daughters best friend/best friends father.

Sutton and Harlow's story is a slow burn one with an 18 year age gap. He's, also, a billionaire. As always, I love that it goes back and forth between their POV's, which showed they tried to fight their feelings towards each other, but the attraction was just too intense. Neither wants to hurt Lena, but in the end, happiness wins.

Forbidden Attraction, Book 3 of the Forbidden Love series, was about 25-year-old Harlow Winters, and 43-year-old Sutton MacMillan, The owner of Industry Innovations, a company that had several divisions dealing with various businesses.
Harlow had been friends with Sutton's daughter, Lena since childhood. She spent more time with the two of them than at her home, and Sutton taught her quite a few of the things most parents teach their children growing up. It wasn't until after his divorce that he started to notice Harlow as a woman and not as his daughter's BFF.
Sutton had been Harlow's dream man ever since she turned sixteen and started noticing him as a man and not her BFF's father, but she never showed her interest in him while he was still married. It was well over a year after his divorce before things started getting interesting between them.
When Lena's boyfriend asked Harlow to help him plan her (Lena's) birthday party to include a surprise proposal of marriage, she was all in.
When Sutton's daughter asked him to visit her boutique to try out a new designer's menswear, he was hesitant to do so because Lena stated that Harlow would be the one measuring him for his sizes for the new suit. But Lena wouldn't take no for an answer. It was during the measurements that they both knew for certain of each other's mutual attraction.
This was one of the better books in the series. While the angst and drama were higher than in the previous books, there was a ton of humor in this one that the others lacked. The emotional rollercoaster was in full swing with its many twists and turns, all of which made the story more enjoyable.
Both of the main characters were fully developed, and mature, with plenty of room for growth, and they both knew how to communicate, which is usually missing in these types of books. The one thing I will say with all certainty is that Sutton had the "psycho ex from hell" if anyone ever did. Even divorced, she pulled some pretty weirded-out antics to get his attention.
There were a vast number of grammatical errors sprinkled throughout this book, but they weren't so noticeable that they were all that irritating. However, two things made absolutely NO sense in this story. After the power went out at the resort during a thunderstorm, and the generator didn't kick in, the hot water...was hot? Oh, and the electric hair dryer...worked? Unless I missed the author stating that the power had been restored or that the generator had finally started working. Whatever the case, it wasn't enough to deduct any stars, so I gave this book a five-star rating and included it in my Keeper for the Shelves collection.

Forbidden Attraction is the Third Book in the Forbidden Love Series by Kaylee Monroe.

Sutton, a 43 year old, divorced billionaire, is trying to get on with his life after he caught his wife cheating on him with a friend. He constantly finds himself drifting into thoughts of his daughter’s best friend Harlow, who he has been harboring feelings for, ever since his divorce was final.

Harlow, a twenty five year old, who just so happens to find Sutton to be sexy as all hell. For Sutton, she is off-limits. She is his daughter’s best friend after all. For Harlow, she has always loved him and is determined to make him hers.

Sutton and Harlow’s story is a slow burn, with an 18 year age gap. I am a big fan of dual POVs, and I just loved watching these two characters fight their attraction for each other. (Sutton more-so than Harlow)

I really liked this best friend's dad age gap romance story. It was entertaining and enjoyable for the most part. The characters were interesting and likable with a couple of exceptions. Lena ended up being a great daughter and friend. Sutton had been having feelings for his daughter's best friend Harlow since his divorce. Harlow thought that Sutton was super sexy and since she had always loved him she was determined to make him hers. There was some drama and angst including from Sutton's ex. The way that they decided to live for each other and not to make others happy was awesome. I liked their happily ever after although I do wish there was another epilogue further out. I recommend reading this book.

Sutton is trying to move on from his ex-wife, but she won't let him and starts stalking him. Harlow is friends with Sutton's daughter and has been attracted to Sutton for a while. They are heading to her friend's birthday celebration, and they have to ride together, and sparks explode around them. They try to fight their attraction however, when they are stuck sharing two-bedroom cabin things get heated between them. Will they be able to be together? What will his daughter say about them being together?

This is a great story that will hook you in the first chapter. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This forbidden love story will have you glued to the pages as the drama unfolds! Sutton is a divorced man who has an attraction to his daughter's best friend. What he doesn't know is that Harlow has an attraction for him as well. His ex-wife won't leave well enough alone and the more he is around Harlow the stronger his feelings become. They are trying to keep their feelings in check so that his daughter doesn't blow up but when she catches them the secrets out! Will they all work things out and will Sutton and Harlow get their chance for a happily ever after? They had me in their corner cheering them on to find happiness.

I'm not even sure where to start. Who are these people??? This started out SOOOO good. I loved Harlow and Sutton and I really thought that this would be a steamy age gap. But no, it was a book that took 80% of it for them to go back and forth about what everyone was going to think. It was exhausting. Once they finally got together, it was decent but there was so much chemistry and it was wasted until the end. By the time they got together, I just didn't care anymore. And Lena was a waste of a character. I had high hopes for this one but it was disappointing.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. A story of forbidden and denied attraction. Sutton and Harlow have secretly wanted each other. They have several obstacles that stand in their way. They each have to decide if they'll
overthink it and cater to others or follow their hearts. Some drama because of their ages, his daughter and past marriage. The characters were good for each other but I wondered if they would ever get together at times. The story drew me in but felt like it slowed at one point.

Forbidden Attraction is the third book in the Forbidden Love series. This forbidden romance is between one very determined younger woman and her best friend's father. Both Sutton and Harlow are attracted to each other but for him she is supposed to be off-limits. But the more he is around her the stronger his attraction and feelings get, and for her she has always loved Sutton and has a plan to make him fall for her.

My Favourite Book of this Series!!!!

This is Sutton and Harlow’s book. It has a good amount of angst and stops short of torturing the reader with it, the characters are well thought out and are quite developed and the the chemistry between these two is off the charts!!! It’s a book best read with a nice bottle of wine, some dark chocolate and a fan ❤️‍🔥!!!

I love these books as a well to take a brief time out and have a great read to take my mind off of things!!!

I've read several of these and loved them. This approach threw me for a loop. I understand the need for some hesitancy with the age-gap romances but this was too heavy on that side which left very little time for me to get to know them as a "couple". I really wish the indecisiveness had been a shorter span in order to give more romance time for compatibility outside of the drama. Regardless, I am still looking forward to reading the next one. The author has given us a wonderful older man/younger woman story that pulls us into the lives of Sutton and Harlow and does not let go. She has wanted him for years, but he is the father of her best friend. He wants her but believes that he should stay away from her. Will they remain at an impasse, or will he follow his heart?

This is an age gap romance of Sutton and Harlow. To complicate matters Sutton is the father of Harlow's best friend and boss. Sutton recently went through a bad divorce, but his ex-wife is still obsessed with him. Harlow wants him to choose her and asks that he essentially take care of the issues with his ex-wife and his spoiled daughter, Lena. All works out after tears and arguments. The beginning had me drawn in, but it quickly became stagnant. This story had the potential to be a great one. It was too tiring for me. The indecisiveness was just too much.
Harlow wanted Sutton long before he saw her in that way. They were concerned with his daughter’s feelings. Not to mention the ex-wife not wanting to leave him alone.

This book was absolutely fantastic and had me enthralled from the beginning until the end and the storyline flowed throughout the book. Sutton is divorced and trying to get on with his life but keeping thoughts of his daughters best friend Harlow is getting hard to do especially when he will be seeing her for weekend Birthday party for his daughter but will his crazy ex wife start drama? Harlow has been in love with Sutton for a Long time but its her best friend father and she doesn't want to destroy their friendship but can Sutton and Harlow fight the chemistry and feelings they have for each other or will it all come crashing down and someone gets hurt?.

Good age-gap romance. A lot of the story focussed on Harlow and Sutton’s confused and conflicting feelings about being together. The situation not helped by Sutton’s possessive, crazy ex-wife and Harlow’s dad making a public splash by dating young women, Harlow’s age, to irritate His ex-wife. Harlow was so determined and confident in herself and her feelings, that she gives Sutton the courage to stand up for himself too. A well done story.

I have read the entire series. Sutton and Harlow are by far my favourite duo. Sutton has always had thoughts about his daughter’s best friend Harlow. Being a man scorned by a cheating wife, he finally gives into his feelings and pursues happiness of his own. The storyline was really well done and steamy scenes to add.
