Reseña de toda la historia.

Doctor Elise es un manwha de rencarnación e histórico donde una chica llamada Elise muere condenada a la hoguera siendo emperatriz por su marido a causa de varios crímenes que cometió en su primera vida ella era frívola, prepotente y no era buena persona, en su segunda vida ella es una doctora atormentada con los recuerdos de su vida anterior vive pagando sus errores ayudando a la gente pero también muere en un accidente y vuelve a rencarnar en su primera vida pero ahora quiere evitar esos errores que cometió y uno de ellos será cancelar el compromiso con el príncipe y convertirse en doctora.

Me gustó mucho el manwha sobre todo el protagonista es que era lo más lindo del mundo, era serio y parecía frío pero con Elise era tierno y amoroso siempre deciendole cuanto la amaba y teniendo detalles lindos con ella y pues Elise no tiene más remedio que volverse a enamorar es que no había manera que fuera lo contrario y por si fuera poco era demasiado guapo y soltaba unas frases que uff EN DERRETIDA.

Todos los hombres de este manwha estaban guapos, material de enamoramiento.

Hubo cosas que se me hicieron muy over the top como por ejemplo la capacidad de ella para resolver todos los problemas, enfermedades curar a todo el mundo, era demasiado perfecta pero me cayó bien.

Siento que al final le faltó un epílogo largo de su vida en el futuro pero me encantó su desenlace.
Mis volúmenes favoritos son el 3 y el 4 porque hay mucho romance y mucho Linden y cara bonita.

By the way, el art es hermoso de lo que más disfruté de este webcomic.

Very good storytelling. Beautiful art. Likeable characters who make rational decisions. No over-the-top and actually realistic romance. Stays true to its subject. It was such a fun read. It deserves all the praise. This one was so good and it was worth the time and effort to read all of it. Thank heavens I found this gem. Kudos to the artist and the writer!

Dunno of I am the only one thinking this but... Mihail and Elise have so much MORE chemistry than her and Linden. Linden is kinda bland tbh. Elise was an okay character albeit a bit too omnipotent in her medicine endevours (she never ever loses a patient during this entire story like??!).

I was glad to see Chris and Julianne strike a match as well at least... Seeing Mihail get back on the road is better than nothing I guess. His sad eyes thou!! And he didn't even get the chance to confess properly 😢
My boi deserved so much more 💜

Bueno, este arco y tomo son bastante largos e intensos, podría decir que es hasta mi favorito por el constante ritmo activo de todos en todo

Hay secuestros, actos de afecto, valentía y hasta traición.

Nuestros protas están en plena guerra, haciendo absolutamente todo a su merced para mejorar y salir victoriosos, pero también se están acercando poco a poco. Hasta Elise descubre que Ron no está enlistado para nada y empiezan sus sospechas.

La dama de la lámpara inicia una leyenda...

This is one of my absolute favorite webtoons, and I'm happy yet sad to have finally finished it after almost a year and a half. The art is incredibly beautiful, and the characters are nuanced, lovable, and easy to root for. The story is well-paced, with drama, romance, mystery, and more. It's often funny and sometimes makes you cry. I really, really enjoyed reading it, in equal parts because of Elise's medical kick*ssery and the sweetness of the romance. I can't wait to reread this! So worth the money! 5 stars.

Chapters 43-56.

I like that Elise was able to figure out a way to keep Chris at home, even if it made all her loved ones mad at her. I like that Juliane found her and took her in, and I like that Lenne came and found her at the de Childe mansion (for context, the families do not get along) and told her to go home, that the family was made because they love her and were scared for her. And also he taught her how to shoot. I think these were some real growth moments for all these characters.

Glad that she's improving conditions at the hospital too. And her appeal to her family for money for the hospital makes a lot of sense: she's there and they'll want to help, the family already owns(?) a hospital, run in memory of Elsie's mother, if I recall correctly.

I can say that since this is a fantasy manhwa, some factors in this story are unbelievable. But I can say that as someone who is into Medical stories, I enjoyed reading this manhwa. I love how the female lead learned from the past and her experiences, and she made sure to be a better version of herself for her third life and not commit the same mistakes again. I also love that there are no toxic characters that will keep on doing shitty things against the main leads, especially the female lead. Although this manhwa did not meet my expectations, I can say that this is such a good manhwa to read.

Summary:
A doctor in the modern day world remembers her past life as a woman who obsessed over a man and ended up in bad conditions, she was Elise. She remembers her past life as Elise in which she didn't do what she could have and instead ended up doing bad things to others and died a bad death. So, she works even harder as a doctor (surgeon) to repent for the past life sins.

BUT one day she wakes up in her old life. Just after she got engaged to the man of her dreams. Will she keep sticking to the man who refuses to accept her or will she be able to do things which she regretted not doing?

YEP! She asks the king to annul her engagement to the Crown Prince. But, the king instead puts up another condition. She has to prove her worth if she doesn't want to be an empress. So starts her journey in her past life, albeit on a different path.

Review:

I binge read a lot of manhwa these days. One of my favorite among them has been Doctor Elise. Beautiful growth story of the main character as well as those around her. Elise is a head strong girl with a lot going against her wishes, but she manages to somehow keep going. Despite everything, she achieves more then she bargained for with her hard work and strong will.

The Crown Prince who previously thought of her as a spoiled brat begins to see her in different light. Things start to move. The king is a wise man instead of a tyrant. You will love many characters in this manhwa & learn about medical procedures as well. It might even inspire you to go for medicine study. The comments on the Manhwa are full of it.

All the best future doctors. You have my best wishes and full respect. :) Be like Elise.

review written of volume 1-4 (episode 1-56):

i forced myself to get through at least half of the series, but it only got progressively worse 🥲 somehow every aspect of the series just actively rotted my brain.

let's start with the historical inaccuracies, which the author sloppily tried to justify as elise transmigrating into a "different world" - if that was really the case, at least put some effort into changing the names??? britta empire instead of britain, francoine republic instead of france, the crimm expedition instead of the crimean war, like OFC ppl are gonna point out inaccuracies untrue to the era 😭 basic etiquette, for example - how come elise, as a woman, can't "refuse" a dance bc it's rude and impolite, but she's allowed to go traipsing through the city with a man she's not married, or even related to? and she's, what, a marquess' daughter??? you can't just straight-up copy historical events, and expect ppl not to point out silly mistakes just bc you slapped on the word "retelling".

which brings to my second point - in a world with electrolytes, antibiotics, anaesthesia, IV fluids, EMS machines??? you're telling me people are impressed that elise knows about... hyegiene? that she can diagnose diabetes? that she can recognise contaminated water = plague? 😐 be so fr with me rn. i dont even have an extensive knowledge of medical history, but this is just silly 😭 how are we supposed to believe she's a "genius", when her 'discoveries' pale in comparison to other inventions already present within their world? i swear, the author really used up all their knowledge on the medical portion, and just said "fuck that" to whether the story was even believable 🙄

if you think that was all, no, there's more ☺️ (this series truly is an amalgamation of everything i hate in a manhwa, and it's unbelievable that it's getting such high ratings). something i like to call the "tamlin effect" appears in this story, where side characters try to prevent the fl from achieving something that is well within her abilities bc she's oh, so fragile, and instead prefers her to be trapped in a gilded cage bc at least then, she's "safe" 🥰 for a book preaching about "female empowerment, RAHHHH 🦅", it's interesting how members of the royal family show such behaviours, and we're somehow supposed to root for them? "yeah, but he's just thinking for the good of the nation 🥺🥺" oh, fuck that. as if she can't help the country through her medical knowledge. as if the only way she is of any use is to be the crown princess, where her potential is wasted just to become a trophy on the prince's arm. gross.

also, the fact that this was inspired by florence nightingale is really... (give me a sec, while i rethink my choices from the past 6 hrs ☺️🔫). while you can't deny that she’s the "mother of modern nursing", and the impact she undoubtedly had on making this career choice more accessible to women, she was also a racist known to refuse aid/care to POC soldiers, and one that was fully in support of british colonialism, at that. idk, it's just very interesting that ppl are idolising and writing retellings of a woman who consciously practices selective sympathy, not to mention, in one of the most vulnerable sectors of healthcare, where soldiers are wounded constantly fighting for the 'great and glorious' british empire.

also, the emperor is annoying. and the ml is so bland, it's giving unseasoned boiled chicken.

i think that's all for now, but if there's anything else i remember, i'll be sure to add to the list 🥰

Muy conocida como "Doctora Elise" o "Reina de Bisturí, Elise" el cual es el título que lo pueden encontrar en Lezhin porque ya esta LEGALIZADO EN ESPAÑOL, nos narra sobre Elise luego de un accidente en avión renace a su 1ra vida donde sabe que fue la peor persona e intento redimir esa culpa en la 2da vida donde era doctora, ahora en esta 3ra vida sabe que para evitar que la quemen viva como en la 1ra vida debe cambiar y ser la mejor versión de si misma incluyendo evitar a toda costa el matrimonio con Linden, el príncipe heredero y la que la mando a la hoguera por sus acciones.

Recuerdo como esta fue una de los siguientes manhwas que me encontre luego de terminar "Luz y Sombra" y para que mentir, ma atrapo, lo que me llamo la atención las situaciones médicas, los términos, los acontecimientos, la verdad fue muy atrapante (creo que eso fue lo esencial que me termino atrayendo porque estoy medio metida en ese mundo, con decirles que gracias a un cap donde mencionaron de la enfermedad de Hashimoto, aprobé un mini examen de mi clase 😂) Se que esta terminado desde el año pasado o ante año pasado pero no me animaba a terminarlo porque, es de esas historias que no quieres soltar 🥲 pero sabes que debes terminar de leer, me emociono el final, aunque ya me medio habia spoileado Y DARIA LO QUE FUERA PORQUE PUSIERON UN EXTRA pero tal y como lo dejo tambien esta bien da entender que esa vida de Elise termino como debio terminar y dara paso a su 4ta Y HAY DIOS LINDEN TE AMO 💖 ok, ya me calmo.

Definitivamente una historia que deben leer 🐱

Season 4 ini berfokus pada konflik antara Pangeran Linden dan Pangeran Mikhail. Selain konflik politik, season ini juga membahas tentang penemuan uang kertas pertama. Secara historis, uang kertas pertama kali dikeluarkan Bank of England pada abad ke-17. Akan tetapi pada saat itu, uang kertas yang beredar kebanyakan ditandatangani dengan tangan. Uang kertas baru dicetak sepenuhnya pada abad 19, yaitu pada tahun 1855. Yang menarik, tahun 1855 merupakan tahun terjadinya Perang Krimea. Entah kebetulan atau tidak, yang pasti ada dua peristiwa bersejarah terjadi ketika Florence Nightingale, yang merupakan inspirasi utama Elise, mulai aktif bertugas sebagai perawat.

Di season ini, aku baru sadar betapa naifnya Elise. Dia mungkin ingin mencegah Linden menjadi seorang tiran, namun cara dia membujuk Linden mengesankan dia tidak paham perasaan Linden. Ada momen-momen tertentu yang membuatku sedikit kesal pada Elise.

Akhir dari kisah Elise dan Linden sebenarnya mirip Aristia dan Ruve, tapi entah kenapa Ruve lebih dibenci. Keduanya sama-sama membunuh tokoh utama di awal cerita. Kalau mereka bisa memberi kesempatan kedua pada Linden, kenapa mereka tidak melakukan hal yang sama pada Ruve? Tapi perdebatan semacam ini memang tidak akan ada habisnya.

Ada saatnya manhwa ini terlalu banyak memasukkan momen deus ex machina, namun secara keseluruhan, aku puas dengan akhir ceritanya. Plotnya dieksekusi dengan baik dan konsisten. Artstyle nya juga jauh lebih baik dibandingkan season pertama. Yang terpenting, manhwa ini tidak memiliki banyak “filler” dalam ceritanya.

Hace unos meses que había finalizado este manhwa, pero yo no me había atrevido a terminarlo hasta esta mañana que dije 'Ya es hora, mucho tiempo lo has dejado de lado', entonces al comenzar estaba súper nerviosa con lo que podía suceder ya que no me quedaban ni 20 capítulos para finalizarlo.

Grande mi sorpresa que el final fuera como se dio ya que pensé en un principio que la sed de venganza de Linden iba a sobrepasarlo como lo había hecho en el pasado, al final las acciones de Elise tuvieron peso en las decisiones de Linden. Lo que más me gusto fue que a pesar de que Elise tuviera que ver con que él comenzará a dudar si realmente su venganza debía ser llevada a cabo como ya se tenía planeada fueron las decisiones que él tomo por si mismo sin ayuda de ella para que así no tenga que volver a ocurrir el mismo destino del pasado.

Por lo que he estado leyendo este manhwa esta basado en la historia de Clorance Nightingale una enfermera que en el año 1854 va a la guerra de Crimea y es ahí que la apodaron como 'La Dama de la Lámpara'. Realmente no pensé que el manhwa estuviera inspirado en una historia de la vida real, pero me parece un buen punto de partida para haber creado esta historia llena de amor y fantasía.

También tengo que decir que el amor de Elise y Linden es demasiado bello, desde el principio del manhwa estaba segura que iban a terminar juntos y enamorados, aunque muchos no lo creían ya que Mil andaba rondando por ahí. Realmente es un manhwa que recomiendo porque es demasiado interesante sacado de la realidad dándole los toques mágicos y fantasiosos para atraer a diferentes públicos.

Hands down one of the best-completed manhwa's out there.
Having lived life like a spoiled brat and died a miserable death, Elise reincarnates into the modern world where she is alone with no family to call her own. She works harder than most and climbs her way to the top in the medical profession. One day on an airplane, she is suddenly met with turbulence and dies and finds herself back into her original life as Elise. Not wanting the same fate as her first life, she quickly starts making changes to her life for the better. She not only gets the main lead this time but saves countless lives on the battlefields and through medical science. "Mother of Modern Medicine" "Lady with the lamp"<- refers to her time spent caring for wounded soldiers during the war. She's honestly so inspiring!
The main character Elise is a hard worker and deserves the best in the world. The main leads complement each other so well and all of the supporting characters are so loveable as well. There were moments of bliss and heartache throughout the entire 143 chapters. I seriously can't believe it took me so long to sit down and write a review on this work of art.
