I kind of liked it but also found it boring at the same time. IDK. Giving it three stars is me being nice.

The MC had every surgery, medical emergency and pandemic go her way so quickly. It was unrealistic. Every person she treated was saved. It irked me.

Her eyes, my god, her eyes, those are some disturbing peepers. I have an issue with such huge eyes and as far as I noticed she was the only one with eyes taking up more than half her face.

Story wise, it was boring and the MC herself is dull. I liked the puppy bro the best.

Edit: Bumping the rating to 3.70 stars instead after a full night sleep. Its plot holes and some things I brushed off initially starts bothering me now the more I mulled about it more. 🥲

I was reading some comments over at “The Reason Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion” anime episode thread when I saw some people were recommending “Doctor Elise”. I picked up this up, planning to read its few chapters out of whim just to see what was it about and yet 4 days later, here we are lol.

When Elise somehow woke up back to her 16 year old body in the time before she was reincarnated, what pulled me to the manhwa was:
1. I was curious to see how she will change the events to prevent the series of tragedies that happened in her past life that ultimately led to her death
2. She is already an experienced prodigy surgeon in modern day. Hence I'm very intrigued to see how that aspect will play out especially in her past life which seems to be some sort of alternate earth in 18th century era.
3. Who will learn of her reincarnation thing and what will be the reaction of that person. I was hoping she will tell Prince Linden or someone she's close with. (I was kinda anticipating this one so it's a bit of a let down 🥲)

While the plot and writing of the manhwa isn't perfect, I still like it and really had fun time reading it.

The ending has me a bit confused. Okay, I can get Elise reincarnated again back into Song (talk about another UNO reverse card being thrown in). Still, Song was born on Earth, and the way it was explained in the early chapters that Elise's world is not Earth so there should be no reference to her in Earth's world for Song to find.

Also, I would have liked to get a few scenes of their married life and I wanted to see her grumpy older brother find someone to love and for Michael to come back and find someone he can love since he obviously can't be with Elise. Also what about Yulian's(SP?) cranky brother? I want to find out if they found love too since Yulian has Chris and Fallon was starting to fall for Jay.

I wonder if the novels give more closure.

Oh well, I'm glad that Linden and Elise found each other again in their next life.

Bueno, acá transcurren bastantes capítulos con jn evento que sucede en el anime casi en el medio. Me pareció muy desacertado incluirlo ahí, pero aquí está re bien puesto, porque la puja de poder de las facciones de los 2 príncipes se vuelve brutal.

Aquí quizás se resolvió todo muy rápido. Vemos un Linden amoroso, al día siguiente exige sangre y al rato ya es un cachorro. Sabemos que Elise lo vuelve loco, pero tampoco es tan inestable. Ya parece Daenerys Targaryen cambiando en 3 capítulos. Dale...

Medio flojito. Especialmente porque se casan y no vemos nada más de ellos, ni un hijo, nada. Vimos un par de besitos y listo. Un poco de fan service no mata(?

Pero bueno, me pareció un detalle muy lindo el de la escena final. Que reencarnen ambos en el mundo actual, esta vez sin pesares, sin remordimientos y con mucha paz.

I can say that since this is a fantasy manhwa, some factors in this story are unbelievable. But I can say that as someone who is into Medical stories, I enjoyed reading this manhwa. I love how the female lead learned from the past and her experiences, and she made sure to be a better version of herself for her third life and not commit the same mistakes again. I also love that there are no toxic characters that will keep on doing shitty things against the main leads, especially the female lead. Although this manhwa did not meet my expectations, I can say that this is such a good manhwa to read.

Whole Manhwa: 3.2/5

1-70: These chapters were so good and enjoyable! was reading non stop.
70-(115-119): Boring asf, plus the romance was so cringey. not to mention how things stopped making sense lol
120-143: they were okay-goody.. I lost a few brain cells but anyways, but i loved the ending

Plus I hated how Elise was such a mary sue lol.. made the story extremely boring the majority of time.

It was a sweet ending; however, I wish there were side stories. Otherwise, I had a great time reading. also, mention the artwork. honestly speaking, I was not happy with the art at the beginning of the story, but gradually it got way better than I had anticipated. It was stunning by the end!

Bir hemşire olarak düşünce tarzını doğru buldum günümüzde böyle değil pek, doktorlar uygulamaya hasta şikayetlerini yazınca çıkıyor önceki doktorların uyguladıkları yöntemler ve o kadar çok örnek var ki kritik olmayan şeylerde uzmana danışmadan da çıkar. Kritik kanser vs konuları tabiki 1-2 uzman kafa yorar toplantılar yapar Eliseden daha derin düşünürler bu yönlerini taktir etmişimdir hep.

Un manhwa pero de medicina, me encantó
Disfruté muchísimo porque entendí todas las referencias, los diagnósticos y los tratamientos que hacía la protagonista

También el prota era capaz de hacer todo por su chica (lo que toda chica quiere)🥹 definitivamente en un Manhwa que recomiendo 100% principalmente para mi compañeras de med💓

I like that Mil has been out looking for Elise and Linden, and Lenne did too. Kinda surprised it was Mil who killed Louis Nicholas, but it was very satisfying the way he did.

Unfortunately now we start getting into the political and relationship stuff and I don't really care about any of that.
