Boy, I swear. It's a fricken slow burn, and I'll die with every slightest of physical contact and every longing or hesitant touch. BUT IT SURE MAKE YOUR HEART FLUTTER. My heart aches for Anna, though.

oh my gosh i cant even express my love for this in words. my heart goes out to anna and rieta, most of all !! she's gone through so much, losing both her husband and daughter + the additional trauma. it's heartbreaking for me to see that. but the way killian cares for her health and mental state is so genuine and heartwarming - I CANT EVEN.
in conclusion, if my mom sees the hours i spent on webtoon, you will never see me on here again. xx

When i talk about SLOW BURN this is what i fucking mean. I'll be referencing this for what I need in a book. The characters,the story,the art and the development.. everything is immaculately done! The world building is really interesting and leaves so much to expect.

Napokon malo boje u dosad veoma sivom opisu glavne junakinje. Napokon malo reakcije od nje osim "Da, gospodine" i "Živim da vam služim". Iako me i dalje nervira koliko je ona požrtvovana u priči, iako faktički još uvek nismo dobili nijedan razlog koji je održava u životu. Tragedija koja se desila u ovom tomu me je baš pogodila. Episode 25 ~ 34
Gods this was the most heartbreaking volume I’ve ever read on webtoons. My soul felt wrecked by the sheer amount of pain Rieta experienced from her PTSD reliving the nightmare that was loss from a pandemic. Killian has so much depth to his character.. his actions in choosing to slap her to her senses was so devastating to see. You can tell his first choice of actions in the situation (as with others I’m sure) has always been brute force and being gentle as an afterthought. You can tell he immediately regrets his actions in the panels that proceed when she comes to.
I applaud the author for their ability to convey this level of sentiment and understanding of trauma and grief riddled guilt into this volume. I cried dearly at every single detail.. like Irene at the window wearing black. She didn’t have to since no one would see her.. but she did grieve just the same.
I love how Killian is also displayed in more way now. We all know of his intelligence and wits in leadership and taking charge against his step mother. But now we see how his past’s deeds are helping him out now in current day.
The line “no I believe it is I who beholds a god amongst men” goes hard.
Side note Abbot is 100% Galdalf. And he is officially the Killian X Rieta ship club president.

omgg they've finally gotten a little closer 😫 we're getting to rieta and killian more and i feel so bad for rieta but i LOVEE the way killian is with her and the way he cares for her!! i also love the way the characters are written and drawn, they're so realistic and their face really convey their emotions.

I did not like the continual use of passive voice. If you want to use the dictions of ROYALS you can use that; however, this passive sentences felt unnecessary to me. Regardless of the language, I am loving the story.
