Given that the Empress wants Cesar’s downfall and the Emperor would rather see him with a more helpful match, Carnelia Easter is in a tough position. Using her knowledge about the character’s backgrounds featured in the novel, she tries to find a path that allows her husband to take the throne and keep her life. Unfortunately it seems that someone else is aware that she is not who she seems to be.

Season Two continues with much of the same. The tone is cutesy romance. The side characters get more attention. This is nice because they have interesting backstories but does make the plot seem a little piecemeal. While our protagonist has woken up to the plot changes but is a bit wishy-washy as she battles to sort out her feelings and goals.

completed: main story (until chapter 114) + side story (chapter 115-118)
not gonna be too hard up on the storyline since i really enjoyed the progression of cesar and carnelia getting together. they were so adorable. i also liked that they grew up quickly, there were enough time building up their friendship and trust when they were young. and it wasn’t long till cesar and carnelia both became young adults and things moved faster.

Adorabile l’epilogo con i bambini e stupendi i disegni, però la storia è un po’ banale. Godibile, ma ad una certa diventa pesante. Si potevano evitare un bel po’ di capitoli.
È una lettura leggera e con il lieto fine, ci sono pochi drammi e le incomprensioni si risolvono abbastanza velocemente!

Progressing nicely. The addition of Gracie as an ally instead of a boring, for no reason girl enemy was a nice twist. I can see why Gracie was the original protagonist of the novel, because she's a babe.
