When Ruby Mullen took the job as the public relations director of the Valley Falls Strikers, her only concern was working with professional athletes. She despised them. Turns out, the guys on the team were amazing.

Well, except one guy.

Dallas Ramos.

He irritated her.

His partying ways and womanizing were exactly why she hated athletes. Nevermind that it seemed like he’d made a change in his life.

As the star midfielder for the Strikers, Dallas was used to hard work. He had no problem knocking a guy out of the way, or sliding to take the ball away.

His life off the field was different. He could walk into a bar and he’d have women flocking to his side. He didn’t have to work for them.

Or at least he used to have them flocking to his side.

That was before. Before he decided he wanted more out of life than one night stands and women who didn’t understand him.

Enter. Ruby Mullen.

She was constantly on him about something, yelling and arguing with him whenever they were in the same room.

Somehow, that turned him on.

He wanted her and it was time to do something about it.

For 5 long years Ruby Mullen has harbored a deep dislike for professional athletes. After what was done to her sister and her left to pick up the pieces she made a vow to keep her distance. However, now after taking the job as public relations director for Valley Falls Strikers, she's surrounded by them. With most of the players she's been able to keep up a professional and nice façade, but there's just something about Dallas Ramos that gets under her skin.

Dallas Ramos may have lived the life of the stereotypical athlete, complete with the womanizing ways. But after wise words from old man Bradley he's changed his ways. It's been a year of focusing solely on soccer and the fans. That was going well for him until Ruby Mullen entered.
Now he can't help but anger her so he can see the fire in his eyes.
Their back and forth banter is like their own form of foreplay.
But is Ruby willing to see past her issues with athletes to give them a chance?

My heart broke for Ruby and what she was told by her own sister. My heart also breaks for Ruby's sister and the position she felt she had to put herself in. **side note** yes I say she put herself in that position because I am the kind of person I see absolutely no reason to keep a pregnancy a secret **end side note**
I can't wait to see if Edwin and maybe Shane's sister will get a book...obviously not together, but their own individual books.

The Strikers’ star Dallas Ramos had turned his wild partying life around and was working on being a valuable player and team member, but that didn’t matter to the new PR person Ruby. She had read of his earlier escapades and had judged him on those until she had to talk to him. The sniping was like a build up to an explosive coming together but is the chemistry enough to keep them together?
A great read and a great series.

Ruby's and Dallas they but heads constantly in the beginning of the story but then you find out why. I'm not giving away a lot of details except to say it was a great story from beginning to end. I really hope there are more books in the series because I'm already waiting for them

Oh my!!! Dallas and Ruby were amazing! He was definitely someone that Ruby needed in her life! These two had me smiling through out the whole book! I’m so happy they had one another! The ending was absolutely perfect! 😘❤️

Loved this one. Full of misunderstandings and misconceptions, I loved how the characters grew themselves and how their push and pull relationship turned into love.

I didn't love how judgmental Ruby was and how that just immediately switched. Also, Celia is a snake, my God. I hate, hate, HATE the hidden baby trope.
A little too instalove for me, I would have liked to see them fall a little more but it a as overall fine.

What a fast paced story! With arguing between Ruby and Dallas I was not sure where this book was going. I really liked that book 3 was a continuing story of book 1&2. Now each book has it's own story but pulls people in from previous books. I liked how open and honest Dallas was. Now Ruby - did not like her at all, until later. So many layers to this book. In fact it leaves you with wanting the stories of at least 3 other characters. There are lots of sex scenes so if that is not something you like to read skip this book. Dallas and Ruby's story was a great story. From overcoming past things they did to remake themselves. To being open and honest about who they were and what they want.

Ruby wanted nothing to do with professional athletes after what happened to her sister. When she became PR director for the Valley Fall Strikers , she treated Dallas Ramos with terribly, she thought him a womanizer and partied all the time. But Dallas had changed and wanted what some of the others on the team had, and Ruby drove him crazy the way she acted toward him. Something drew them to each other. Even though their relationship started out unusual, they couldn't help being drawn together. I enjoy the interaction between the two before and after them finding the other, when arguing can get you the man of your dreams, I'm for arguing every time.

I really enjoyed the series and I cannot wait for more. I loved being able to see inside a famous soccer player's mind, that has insecurities and doubts about themselves, outside of soccer. I loved how strong Ruby is and how amazing her relationship between her and her sister is. I really enjoyed how the relationship between Dallas and Ruby grew without being drawn out. There was no slow burn. Definitely worth a read.

Ruby's the PR director for the Strikers team but hates athletes. Well not the whole team, just Dallas. She hates his playboy ways. Dallas could have any woman but wants more than one-night stands. Ruby appears and he's conflicted. Why's her yelling at him so hot? Time to get her.

Ruby and Dallas start out antagonizing each other, until they figure out why. Ruby has some preconceptions to work through, eventually discovering she was misled. I'd love to read Celia's story. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

This must be the worst romance book ever written. The characters are premature and the writing is high school quality at best. The story could have ended in about 30 pages or so, but went on and on. No real storyline or dilemma.

This was a cute read. Fluffy and fun with enough dislike to give it some tension.

I am intrigued tobread Celia's book and wondering about poor Edwin too. I haven't read thw others in the series yet either.

I absolutely loved book three of this series! This story shows the plus and minuses of being a sports star as we see it through Dallas' eyes- the pre-game routines, the player comradery, the conditioning and I particularly enjoyed the descriptions on the pitch. Dallas basically swore off girls until he meets Ruby the new public relationship director for the team. Their relationship starts off rocking with misunderstandings and assumptions complicating their obvious attraction to each other. Ruby's storyline and her reason for not trusting athletes made an interesting, compelling read with a doozy of a twist thrown in. Told from both povs I couldn't put it down I was so vested in hoping their relationship would work out. Although not necessary I suggest reading the first two books-you'll not want to miss any of the team gossip. I am looking forward to the next in the series, there are so many characters I hope to read more about.
