Rough Curves should be read before reading Sharp Curves. I gave this book four stars because to me it wasn't complete. Sharp Curves picks up six months after the 'incident' with Jessica's ex-boyfriend. Avery and Jessica are spending more time together, but Jessica has not informed Avery of how much debt she has acquired since the 'incident'. Jessica's job has changed, and Avery is thinking of starting out on his own. Money is the answer and one of Avery's friends may just hold the key on how to get some. The story continues in Contract Curves.

Great characters and the story rockets along again as I *hoped* it would for Book 2 - that said, there were elements that bugged me - mainly the episodic feel of the story. Summer Rose is an engaging writer who sweeps you into Jessica's very raw and very real feeling world. You do love Avery but again just as I get into holding my breath, the book ends - and that's where I assume the next book will pick up. A little more finesse on the ending chapter would help this feel like I've just been dumped after a great date ...

So Jessica has testified against Daniel and his ranting put him in prison. She and Avery have fallen further in love and Jessica is still struggling to tell Avery about the debt that she owes. So now we have to wait for Avery to play the game of poker. Will this heist work out of will Avery and Jessica end up paying a high price for trying to cheat a cheater? This was book 2. Maybe book 3 will give us the ending we all want.

I have to say that I was very interested in getting this book and I have to admit it was well worth the wait and this is my opinion. I thought the story line built up was very well done and made the most sense to me and this is my opinion. I thought the overall characters were very instrumental to this whole story and this is my opion.

This felt like the middle part of a book. The bridge between the beginning and the exciting end. It was more character development and they came up with a plan. Nothing happened. I felt like I was reading a different series. No way could this be a standalone book.

I loved reading Sharp Curves book 2 in the Til Debt Do Us Part series by Summer Rose. Her psychotic ex Daniel may be in jail, but Jessica's problems are far from over. Her relationship with Avery is only growing stronger but her ordeal with Daniel has left Jessica heavily in debt. But will a risky game be the answer to their financial woes? Can't wait for book 3.
