As part of the conditions put in place as their punishment as the original Fallen, Lillith and Lucifer are sent down to Earth once every several hundred years to love a human life. One of her other husbands, The Angel Michael is sent down as well, while her final husband the Angel Gabriel stays behind to watch over the Gates of Hell. Although they have no memories of their true selves as humans, their lives always follow the same pattern. But not this time. Someone has cursed their trip to Earth this time to keep them from returning to Hell. Someone messed with her husband, even worse they took something precious belonging to her. Someone will pay. Lillith is the Queen of Hell.

Fantastic! This is such a creative story with so many layers. Using the big biblical figures we are all familiar with in such a different way is pure fun. It's sweet and steamy. Lucifer as Lucien is an impossibly perfect husband. Lillith with a make-up blog, hysterical. The Angels, yummy! And Jellybean the hellhound masquerading as a dog, adorable. This story kept me turning pages as fast as I could read; my emotions were everywhere. I can't wait for answers. We know who but not why or what happens next. I look forward to more.

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

What a fun start to a new series by two awesome authors. We meet Lilith who rules Hell by Lucifer's side while also enjoying her two lovers Gabriel and Michael. At set time intervals they have to return to the mortal realm to live as a human for a short time before returning. Lilith, Lucifer, and Michael all return at the same time but Gabriel has to go separately on his own. They return for their time but things do not go as planned. This makes for some interesting events to happen along with a few surprises. I cannot wait to see what happens next for this group. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

Need book 2 asap

Oh my gosh. I just finished this book... and having a newborn daughter... many parts of this book were so realistic to me.. I could feel every emotion Lilith was going through. First the struggles to get pregnant, then finally having her girl and not being able to keep her. The cliffhanger at the end was brutal for me, and I am anxious to read book 2.

I was pleasantly surprised with this book. A unique and interesting take on Lilith and Lucifer. Easy to follow along with and understand. Written wonderfully and flowed so well. This book literally had me laughing out loud and I found it near impossible to stop once I started.

Lilith is someone we should all inspire to be in aspects of out lives. She proves that women can do anything men can do, she is fierce and strong, compassionate but knows her worth, and so many more amazing characteristics that make her a strong and kicka** heroine. Gabrielle, a fallen angle, and one of her mates is analytical, a problem solver, strong, and gorgeous with his dark blue wings. his love for Lilith is true and the boyish charms and games him and Michael play when they are together is endearing. Michael, her second mate, is strong. fierce, a giant teddy bear, and is drop dead gorgeous. He is my favorite out of the three. Then of course there is Lucifer himself, King of the underworld and charged with keeping Demons out of Earth. he is powerful, strong, loves his home and what he has to do. The last of Lilith's mates and the one her life is tied to.

I love the mythology the book has including other gods and arch angles. I love the twists and turns that you do not see coming. Just as they think they have answers the rug is swept underneath them and they realize they have nothing. I learned a little as i read too!

A must read book! I honestly can't wait for book 2.

It's an ok start to this series

I rounded up because really this story was probably more of a 3.5. The concept isn't terrible. I liked parts of the story. The "attempts" (no spoilers) were pretty funny, no lie but there are chapters that add nothing top the storyline and honestly I even questioned why they were in there. The character development I felt missed the mark. There are signs that it could be good, truly a decent story but before it can hit that level of quality, it fizzles. The fmc seems almost vapid at times. She knows and yet focuses on her human life? If one death triggers the other, why didn't they try killing her? She doesn't have a curse. Also, I like the play between the characters but honestly each interaction felt like it was trying too hard. The scene with the work friend? Just seemed staged instead of natural. Seriously with some revamping this story could be amazing but as it is, I'm not even willing to continue at this time.

Holy moly!! I ❤❤❤ this!!

This is such a great story and a new twist to Lilith, lucifer, Michael and Gabriel's story!

Lilith and lucifer are married, but she is also married to Gabriel and Michael. Everyone's got the story wrong on how lucifer and she ended up in hell, but she's OK as long as she has her mates.

The awesome twist in this story is that they all have to spend so many years in earth as a human in a new life and lucifer, Lilith and Michael are all on the same cycle. While living their human life, Lilith and lucifer are married and expecting their first child and Michael is their next door neighbor and friend. Gabriel "wakes " up Lilith and tells her the truth... that she's the queen of hell and they are not supposed to still be on earth and she is definitely not supposed to be pregnant.

This story is sooooo awesome and I'm on pins and needles waiting for the sequel!!!

I recieved an ARC for my honest review.

A Hell on Earth mystery. Who has tampered with the King and Queen of Hell?
Lilith and Lucifer have to leave Hell from time to time and be re-born on Earth, but the always die before the age of thirty and return to Hell. But something has interfered and not Constance (Lilith) and Lucien (Lucifer) are not only over thirty but Constance is pregnant and due to deliver her baby soon. A baby that she was forewarned she would never have. Now with she and Lucifer not in Hell, chaos is erupting and the gates of Hell are opening. Gabriel, who never forgets has come to bring them along with Michael back, but something is definitely wrong. They can’t get Lucifer to remember and everything they do to make him die so he will come back as Lucifer, is thwarted. Who put a spell on him, and who caused Lilith to become pregnant? Meet Lilith, Lucifer's wife, Queen of Hell, long black hair, a body with curves in all the right places. Lilith has angelic lovers, Michael (curly brown hair) and Gabriel (blond, dark blue wings). Meet pregnant Constance, a beauty blogger and wife to Lucian with a good neighbor, Adam. But they are the human incarnations: Lucian.of Lucifer, Constance of Lilith, Adam of Michael. Now it's time for the human cycle to end - but it's not happening as expected. So if Lucian won't die, they'll have to kill him, so he reverts to Lucifer, who must strengthen the Gates of Hell to prevent demons from escaping and overrunning the earth. Unfortunately, Lucian is cursed to prevent him from dying or being killed. Constance gives birth to Ariel, who is then kidnapped. Archangel Raphael is apparently the perpetrator of the curse and the kidnapping, but why is a mystery. The adventure continues in the next book, "Fresh Hell".

This is a clever twist on all the other stories you may have heard. In this version, Lilith and Lucifer, as part of their curse, are sent every several hundred years to spend time as human without their memories. This was not something new since their lives always followed the same pattern. The problem arose when they were suddenly not able to return to Hell when their Earthly time was completed.

Now the gates of Hell are at risk of crumbling. If Lilith and Lucifer can’t get back to Hell to strengthen those gates, demons will surge out of the Underworld and create that literal Hell on Earth you may have heard about! Lilith and her angels will have to determine what happened and who is responsible as time is quickly running out! Will they reinforce the gates in time? Will they stop the traitor from succeeding in this “devilish” plan?

This was a very interesting read! I have read many books that portray Lucifer in many ways but Lacey put it in a different perspective. It shows him in Hades with the love of his life and her angel lovers, who would have thought it. They go to be mortals for a period of 30 years and then they get killed off to go back to Hades. There is an in-between place that was made so the angel lovers could still access their mate when she is in Hades keeping the demons where they belong. In this book something goes wrong and she becomes pregnant and Lucifer does not die when he is supposed to. This is a mystery that must be solved and in the end the child is stolen. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

I got confused a bit with the origin of the story because while looking for books to read; I came across "Rae Foxx - Birth of a Demon (Queen of Abaddon #1)" along with "L.A. Boruff & Lacey Carter Andersen - Raising Hell (Infernal Queen #1)" version in the same week I was trying to find a good book to read. I tried to research why it had the almost the same written content then I came across this part of the book about the copyright.

"’Raising Hell’ was previously published as “Birth of a Demon” by Rae Foxx, and has
been expanded and edited in collaboration."

Good thing I notice this quote in the book. So, I was relieved! I can't put a review yet since I'm not finished with reading it. So, I'll just leave this review post for now.

I downloaded Raising Hell, book 1 of the Infernal Queen series, as a free ebook from Amazon.

A really interesting story line, but the writing felt drawn out and redundant with oft-repeated information (e.g. how Michael and Gabriel had differing cycles-- don't want to give a spoiler, so no context given here). Repeats were not just once or twice, but sometimes three, and on at least one occasion four times. I enjoy books by each of the writers, so the disconnect I feel may be a side-effect of the dual authors combining their chapters, but it is very noticeable to readers.

While the plot was interesting, I was satisfied enough by the books ending not to be curious about further installments in this series.

I really enjoyed this unique take on Lilith and Lucifer with a reverse harem twist. While most of this book takes place on Earth as we know it, there are a few flashbacks to Hell and also elements of angels and demons that encroach on this version of Lilith and Lucifer. I thought that the myth of this book was cool. As for the story, awesome plot, I didn't guess anything that happened before it did. The characters were pretty well rounded, there is definitely room for that to increase, especially for Lucifer but I would assume that will happen in the next book. Very well paced, the action parts are nicely balanced with the emotional and sweet moments.

This was a great story. At first I had trouble connecting with Connie. She seems so flighty at first but as the story progresses I get to liking her more and more. I love her and Lucifer together as they have great chemistry and a connection. Michael and Gabriel are fabulous. I love their personalities. The story has mystery, suspense, drama, and some sexy scenes. It is definitely worth reading and it is extremely well written. It does end in a cliffhanger but I think it was a great way to conclude the first book. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Not cool

I did not like Lilith. The fact that she would want to have kids, in each lifetime, and leave forcing strangers to take care of them is horrible. Those strangers could end up being abusive. The experience of being a mom was more important to her. In addition, I know that she wanted to have the kid no matter what...I was fine with that. I was not ok with her doing nothing about the demons that was breaching hell and killing people while she waited for the baby to come. At least she could have made sure that they had help, instead of waiting weeks for people to help with the gate.

Lilith and Lucifer as part of their curse, they must spend time as human. Their time is different this time around for both of them. Lilith has a make-up blog, has a happy marriage and expecting a baby. Lilith's memories are awakened but she refuses to what needs to be done. Lilith and her angels will have to figure out who messed with Lucifer before the worst thing possible happens.

There is so much more to story that this. This is a unique take on the Lilith and Lucifer story. You will enjoy the story the author has written. I recommend reading

I don't know what happened but i was not invested in this story like all the other books i've read and loved from Ms. Andersen. It happens sometime, maybe i wasn't in the right mood for this one, because i know that this story is well written and it has an original take to Lucifer and Lilith story but i tried multiple times to get back to the story but just couldn't get in to it. So this is why i still give this book a 4 ⭐ review.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. An insane Raphael causes a lot of problems as he plotted for years to steal Lucifer's power and to destroy hell. Events unplanned aided him in his plot. Lucifer and Lilith found each other again each time they were reborn with their love eternal. This time interferences stopped their return to hell for a time. Their daughter is powerful and brainwashed. I hope Ariel will learn the truth in time, but Lucifer and Lilith still love her. Raphael is dealt with, and I hope things will work out for everyone.

Very intriguing. It was cute to see Lucifer as a doting husband. And it was interesting to see Lilith as a normal woman with beauty channel online. Dilemma she had was heartbreaking. Big troubles are hanging above earth. Someone did turn bad, made a thinkable thing and what is the most frustrating we still don’t know why, exactly what for and who more is involved. So many questions. So few answers. So much passion and love. So much longing. Good beginning of new story.

This was something a little different. Every so many years, the king and queen of Hell are reincarnated, along with Archangel Michael, leaving Gabriel behind. They have no memories of their Underworldly lives, but are living a blissful life in a Stepford suburbia.

It alternates between a mystery, trying to figure out why they haven't returned to Hell and slapstick as Gabriel tries to return them.

It ends on a cliffhanger, and I'm looking forward to the next one.

Raising hell has never been so much fun!

Dreamy guys and steamy scenes aren't all that will keep you enthralled! With the gates of Hell crumbling, three sexy men who love her and a baby on the way while trapped as a human, Lilith has her hands full . At times funny and others touching, this unique story of four of the most powerful

I am loving this!! So original! This was one book where I found myself rooting for the Underworld and Lilith, Lucifer, Michael, and Gabriel! Great world building with fascinating characters and an incredibly compelling and dynamic story-line that just had layers upon layers of complexity to it! Lilith has been the Queen of hell for an extremely long time and every 500 years has to spend a lifetime as a human. Interesting concept and execution have given this a fresh spin on Lucifer and Lilith, Gabriel and Michael. Lilith has to make some hard decisions and at the end is left in a very bad situatIon. Beware, cliffs ahead.

This is a really unique concept for a story and these two talented authors have created a world that I want to keep reading about. This booked kicked off right away and immediately grabbed my attention, having me quickly flip through the pages. The characters are really well developed and this book just sets the scene for what is to come next. As I can see Lilith opening a can of Wuppa$$ on anyone who has missed with those she loves! Cannot wait to keep reading this series...bring on book two!

So, so good!! I loved this first installment in the Infernal Queen series. The way it portrays Lilith, Lucifer, and all of the Archangels in fact as more than just black and white, good and evil had me caught from the very beginning. The author really knows how to evolve a character so you feel for them and want to continue their journey with them and I just cannot wait until the next book comes out so that I can continue Lil's and all of her men's story with them! Highly recommended book!

there are worse things than going to He$$ in this series- far worse.

Betrayals and corruption affecting all the realms keeps a mother from her child, lovers torn apart, and so many from being able to pass beyond death.

steamy, shocking and super intense paranormal drama, action, romance and suspense that redefines realms and hierarchies.

I found the writing of this book extremely boring.

Each chapter seems to be mostly about repeating the same information or events as previously, with a bit of new information. And next chapter again, most of what is said or happens is the same as in previous chapter, with a bit of new information/action. Or sometimes not even a bit of new information/action but just the same just a bit different.

Definitely not for me.
