The Bratva came in the night and set the place on fire. I thought it was my chance to finally escape this awful mob-owned club. Goodness gracious, was I wrong. Because the man pounding at the door is not a knight in shining armor, here to liberate this damsel in distress from her nightmare. More like the polar freaking opposite.
Bastien Nikolaev, the new don of Miami’s Nikolaev Bratva, is moody, broody, with a bad attitude-y. And now, he’s decided that I belong to him.
I’d call it the worst night of my life, but I’d be lying. All the worst nights are yet to come.
This is the 3rd book in this series and should be read in order. Bastien is the new Don of Miami’s Nikolaev Bratva and out for revenge after the Cubans kill his uncle. During one attack he rescues Melissa from a burning building and as a potential witness he decides to keep her for himself. Fast-paced mafia read with loads of drama, suspense and action-paced. Great characters with plenty of depth and sizzling chemistry. I really liked it.
Melissa has been captive of the Cuban mafia since childhood. Bastien is helping his brothers exterminate the Cuban mafia after they killed their uncle. After burning the club down he finds Melissa and decides to take her with him. The two become close and the heat is fierce between them. A good read and the last brother's story.

Ma no eh)
Bastin Nikolaev is the final book in Nikolaev Bratva trilogy. Bastin Nikolaev is now the new Don of Miami Nikolaev Bratva. He's volatile, brooding, with a bad attitude. The Russians and Cubans are at war. Bastin go their club a lo al brothel and lean it out with his guns. He found Melissa the slave. He took her with him and decided that she would be his. Melissa thought that he was her knight and shining armor and that she was finally getting out of her prison. But she soon realize that she traded one prison for another and the real just starting. Bastin didn't know what to do with her so he locked her in his basement as his prisoner with no interaction causing her to lose her sanity. Once he sees that she was having problems he decided to bring her upstairs where they then explore a relationship. Did Bastin and Melissa got their HEA? The story was intriguing and riveting with lots of action, bloodshed, violence, drama, revenge, retaliation, kidnapping, attacks and so much more.

Bastien is no Knight in Shining Armor...but he will keep her safe and protected
Bastien Nikolaev is the third book in the Nikolaev Bratva series, and the last of the three brothers to find his match. The story is about Bastien and Melissa, who he basically kidnaps and won't let go of. Melissa has been kept captive by the Cuban mafia in a brothel in Miami. When the Nikolaev's and the Cuban's go to war she ends up getting caught in the middle of it. Her one chance to finally escape a decade of captivity ends up with her being held captive by the big, bad. lethal, and "sex-on-a-stick" Bastien instead. He does not want to let her go and ends up with a wife that he never thought he would have. I liked this story the most but at the same time I found some detail inconsistencies which made stopped the flow of the story for me. Overall though this was a good book and enjoyed the story-line.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Bastien is the new Don of Miami, and he is out to take down the Cubans because of what they've done to his family. When they go to a Cuban club to start taking them down, he finds Melissa and takes her home with him as his captive. He isn't sure what to do with her, so he lives her in his basement in a room locked up. Melissa starts to worry about what's to come of her and it slowly affects her mental stability. When Bastien sees her in a downward spiral he decides to bring her upstairs to a room there to stay. Sparks fly between them and soon things heat up. However, there's something Bastien hadn't counted on which could change everything between them. Can he find a way to work through his distrust? Will Melissa be given another chance?
This is an amazing story that will draw you in from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Great third book in this series. It’s best if you read the first two before reading this one as it follows the other brothers. This one is about Bastian, who has been sent to Miami to help his cousins push back the Cubans who has hit the bratva hard over the past while. While he is there he finds Melissa at one of the locations they destroy. Melissa is a stripper for a club the Cubans own and Bastian takes her as his prisoner.
As they learn more about one another they can’t deny their attraction and Melissa becomes his weakness and strength.
Great book, I am not sure if there are going to be more in the series or if this is the final one. Regardless, I would be happy to read more from this author!.

Well written smooth story, the youngest of the three Nicolaev brothers finds love with Melissa in Cuban nightclub. Not that he was in a nightclub to relax, no, it had everything to do with the war his bratva has with the cuban organized crime in Miami. And Melissa was not there having a good time either, on the contrary, from being Cuban property she now became a Russian prisoner. But it soon becomes apparent that she would rather be a prisoner of Bastien than of the Cuban criminals who had been holding her for 10 years. Melissa and Bastien are fascinating characters, Bastien's allies in this story, the Limonov brothers are a bit caricatural though. There's enough suspense, intrigue and twists in it to make it an interesting and enjoyable story.

I think the author saved the best brother for last ! Maybe because Bastien seems never to care much or for any female past a one night stand. His power move from Boston to Miami to overcome the Cuban’s hold on his Uncle’s former territory has him taking Melissa as prisoner. WOW do sparks fly mostly because of her sassy comeback's constantly needling Bastien.
Great storyline and plot with some great twists Awesome characters Steam Happily Ever After
Loved this book as I recommend the series. Naomi West is a favorite writer of mine in mafia setting !

This is the third book of the Nikolaev Bratva Trilogy by Naomi West and it is a great read. This book keeps you on the edge of your set with all the drama, suspense, secrets, and lies. Bastien is the youngest Nikolaev brother and is the quiet one. He is always trying to stay a few steps ahead of his enemies and his family. Melissa is a singer in a Cuban club and has been held captive by them after they killed her family. Since Bastien believes in not harming women, after his attack on the club, he takes Melissa home with him. What is he going to do with the woman he has locked in his basement? Will she try to escape? This is such a great series I hate to see it end. Well done Ms. West.

OMG! Wow this third book was so full on with action, rivalry, violence, murder, torture, chaos, frustration, manipulation, arrogance, dominance, struggles, secrets, healing, lust, passion, romance and love. Bastien Nikolaev, the new Don of Miami’s Nikolaev Bratva Dynasty Bastien didn't think that mob owned clubs be his thing anymore since he moved away, from his brothers and mother then again he was lucky he did because that is how he met Melissa moving to Miami. Bastien saved Melissa's life because his cousin wanted to kill her, Bastien told him that Bratva do not take out the innocent or women. I loved the trilogy and would recommend it.

3.50⭐️ - i hope future crime family series have more research done to give these stories justice and actually have different plots. Why is it that all 3 brothers have pretty much the exact same plot with a few differences 🫠
Book 1: arranged marriage, FMC denies her attraction to MMC until pretty much the 3rd act when there’s a shootout with the enemy in which MMC gets injured badly & needs hospitalization so that’s when FMC comes to terms that she loves MMC & oh … she’s pregnant (MMC doesn’t want to accept he cares for FMC because of what happened to an ex that he didn’t even love)
Book 2: boss/employee romance, FMC denies her attraction to MMC (again) until the 3rd act when there’s a shootout with the enemy in which MMC gets injured badly & needs hospitalization so that’s when FMC comes to terms that she loves MMC & oh … she’s pregnant (MMC doesn’t want to accept he cares for FMC because of what happened in his past)
Book 3: MMC keeps FMC prisoner until the third act, for a change the FMC doesn’t deny her attraction to MMC but like I mentioned, he keeps her prisoner until the third act when there’s a shootout with the enemy & he needs hospitalization & oh … she’s pregnant (MMC doesn’t want to accept he cares for FMC because of what happened to some girl from his past that is never explained who she was or what happened to her & she is just mention by name - “what happened to [name] wasn’t your fault”)
And don’t get me started on how these Bratva bosses are called “Dons” when anyone who is an avid crime family romance reader knows a Bratva boss would be called a “Pakhan” not a Don 💀

Underwhelming -nhad so much potential but the author dropped the ball. It happens. I do hope she fixes this book because it’s a shame. Continuity is vital. Something went wrong? I couldn't wait to read about Bastien but it needs editing. The jumps between storylines and events didn’t make sense at time. It needs polishing and maybe another slower read by the author as well as proofing. I loved the first two books. I noted to myself they needed some proofing but decided to wait til I bought a copy and after getting all 3 and reading I noticed a significant lack in book 3. Disappointed - I would have happily waited another few weeks to get the author’s best.

After reading the other books in this series I had high expectations for this story. But unfortunately it was not written as well as the others. The storyline is good but the scenes don’t transition smoothly. I found it jumping around which made me back track to see if I mistakenly moved forward a chapter or two. I liked her sassy banter with him.
Más de lo mismo. El storyline es muy parecido a los anteriores, cambia el hermano y la chica, la historia del libro, pero al final, básicamente es igual.
I was so excited going into this book because I just knew that Bastien, the quiet scary one, would be the ultimate anti-hero and he did not disappoint! First, while this book is a standalone like all in the Nikolaev Bratva trilogy, I really enjoyed reading them in order and felt they added to each story. But you don't miss a ton if you skip right to this one. Bastien has moved to Miami and is working take down the Cubans (who killed his dad) when he encounters Melissa during a raid in the club where she "works" (she's more like a slave since she's been their captive for 10 years). The Bratva doesn't purposefully kill women so he takes her with and locks her in his basement. Doesn't sound like she's traded one situation for a better one, but Melissa is relieved to be away from the people who killed her mother. As hard as Bastien tries, he can't keep his usual brusque, cold demeanor around Melissa and she slowly breaks down his walls. Add in his meddling mother Vanna, who continues to insist he needs a woman and it's a recipe for an amazing mafia romance. I have really enjoyed reading these books by Naomi West- she interjects suspense, action and doses of humor throughout that make her books hard to put down! I can't wait see what she brings us next!.

This was probably my least favorite book in the series, which makes me sad to say because it was the one I was most excited for. Bastian wasn’t as hard and closed off as I was expecting. In the prior books he was the quiet brother who observed mostly and wasn’t known to be a manwh*re. Melissa was an ok mfc, but nothing really excited me or impressed me with her. And much like Dmitry and Shannon’s story, Melissa was kept locked away in Bastien’s basement for all but maybe the last 15%. I don’t know, this one was too much like book 1 in ways and in other ways too much like book 2. In the end, Bastian is shot, in the hospital with Melissa at his side when all of a sudden she rushes to the bathroom to throw up and realizes suddenly she might be pregnant. And just like in the other book, goes down to the hospital pharmacy for a test, only to discover she is pregnant. And one thing that’s bugging the hell out of me, and maybe I missed it in a prior book, but who the hell is Nina?? And what happened with her and Bastien for Dmitry to tell him “it” wasn’t his fault and he can’t blame himself. I wished there was some more clarification on what happened and who Nina was.
Bastien and Melissa's story was exciting, engaging and kept my attention until the final page. It was the third in this series which has been a great ride. All books in this series have been entertaining and enjoyable reads.
Ms. West did a great job of presenting her characters and their backstories in a relevant flow and built on the storyline/plot with the Cubans in a evolving/layered approach which gave the reader an insight into this group of adversaries.
I loved the slow burn attraction between Bastien and Melissa even with the backdrop of Bastien's lack of trust in Melissa for some of this story. It took him awhile to final make peace with Melissa's role as a "plant" whose purpose was to get info back to the Cubans. Her character, although damaged by being a captive of the Cubans from a young age had a fierce desire to "do the right thing". It doesn't hurt that she and Bastien enter into a sexual relationship or that the relationship turns into a "love connection".
It is a very entertaining read with Bastien's anti-hero character and Melissa's "good girl" character often at odds with each other, but who overcome some pretty dark times to eventually find their light among the darkness.
Bastien is the darkest sibling of the 3. He thrives on danger - not his death! With the loss of an uncle in Miami, Bastien assigned himself to oversee the Bravia and receive retribution for the death of their uncle. With the Cubans being destructive, death was always present. Melissa, a slave to the Cubans- dancer/cleaner slave, is being used as a means to infiltrate the Bravia to extinction.
Overall, this was a slight letdown for me. Though each sibling found their mate, unexpected though, they all suffered in a way. There were positive and negative’s along the way but too repetitive.
A good read, dominating, blood thirsty, crime lords - death in abundance all packed into the series. Do read in order
I enjoyed reading Bastien's story. He is the third Nikolaev brother, sent to Miami to avenge the uncle and stake a claim to the territory. There he meets Melissa, who has been taken by the Cubans and forced to work in their club. After being taken as a witness during the Bratvas attack on the Cuban's club, Melissa is eager to understand who Bastien is. While Bastien is a man of little words, they have witty banter and interactions with each other. There is a big plot twist which you'll need to read to find out!.

This is Bastien's story of finding love and he does it in a unique way not unlike the others how they found it was basically dropped right in front of him when he storm into a cartel area and broke her out of her prison but returned to be his captive. There are some action scenes in this book and it gets you excited. I liked the story and the characters and was happy to see the returning characters from the previous brother's story.

Wow, another great story in this series. This is about the third brother Bastien. He's the Don of the Miami, Russian Bratva. When he goes into the Cuban brothel and he goes with guns blazing. As Melissa tries to escape her prison Bastain grabs her and now she's in another prison. Very suspenseful, good guys, bad guys, hot chemistry between Bastian and Melissa. Is she the one for him? Loved, Loved, Loved the story and the series.

This is third book in the series of three. Bastien Nikolaev cleans out the club and takes Melissa hostage since she is a witness. He is the the new Don of the Miami Bratva and they are at war with the Cubans. This book has it all, all that good stuff that is Bratva. I thought it was a good story and I loved the interaction between Melissa and Bastien. Naomi West is a go to for Bratva stories. I liked the book. It may not be my favorite of the series but it was still a great story.

This book is about the third Nikolaev brother, he is the youngest, fierce and a ladies man. He goes to Miami to help his cousins on their fight against the Cubans, after they attack their killing lots of people. Melissa is the property of the Cuban boss since her childhood and when she ends on Bastien’s arms sparks flies everywhere, the book is engaging has action, hot scenes and is great. I really recommend it.

The trilogy was meh to me all three books. Yes, they had[ the is ]HAD interesting plotline but this trilogy fell flat to me. It needed to be darker and maybe have dub-con/non-con at first.
Book 1- Focusing a female into the mafia world by marriage. It would have been good if it was longer and more detailed. Book 2- My boss wants me to have his baby. < this wasn't in the book. Book 3 - was lacking sex scenes. One was detailed and the others were not even there.
Bastien is sent to Miami after their uncles murder by the Cubans, when taking out one of the Cubans Club he finds Melissa. Melissa thought she was about to escape butbshe finds her self captive by Bastien, their chemestry sizzles but can Bastien do his job and keep her safe? Well written steamy hot, action packed and more! Great addition to the series.

Bastien Nikolaev by Naomi West is the thrilling story of Bastien and Melissa. Melissa has been captive for ten years. Then, the place is stormed and she is taken prisoner by Bastien. They slowly grow closer. But, danger persists….
This is a hugely absorbing read!!! I was captivated by these characters and loved the feistiness of Melissa…and the brooding of Bastien. Excellent story!!!
I am volunteering to leave a review for an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Bastien Nikolaev (Book 3 of Nikolaev Bratva) by Naomi West. Great story to round out this series of tough as nails brothers. Bastien and Melissa gave us a run for out money. Their journey was full of action-packed drama, heated chemistry, touches of suspense, and plenty of wicked banter. I enjoyed this fast-paced journey and would recommend this story, series, and author to others. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Every book is a stand-alone, each book about a different brother and his love. This book is about Bastien and his rise to Mafia Don. Mafia ethics are that they do not kill innocent women. But she’s a witness and he can’t let her go. Now let the chaos begin. If I’m honest, this was my least favorite of the series. But I love this author’s book and recommend all her books.
