The Dark One has finally accepted me…just in time for everything to change. Because Vane’s brother, The Crocodile, has just arrived on Neverland soil and he’s not alone. He’s brought with him members of the royal Darkland family and they want Vane’s Death Shadow back at any cost.
Of course, Peter Pan, Vane, Kas and Bash, they’re all familiar with war. But war isn’t easy when love is on the line.
I know those vicious Lost Boys would do anything to protect me. But what if I’m not the one that needs saving?
As power shifts on the island and shadows are claimed, all five of us have to let go of who we were, if we have any chance of becoming who we are destined to be.
NOTE: Their Vicious Darling is book three in the Vicious Lost Boys series. It is a dark romantic reimagining of Peter and Wendy. All characters have been aged up. If you like your enemies to lovers romance with hot, ruthless, morally gray love interests, you’ll enjoy Their Vicious Darling. You can expect an island with darkness and secrets and no true hero in sight, with a found family atmosphere, and ‘touch her and I’ll unalive you’ vibes. Their Vicious Darling ends on a cliffhanger.
Nikki St. Crowe is a USA Today and No. 1 Amazon Bestselling Author specializing in dark, spicy romantasy where the villain gets the girl and the girl gets the power.
Nikki considers the start of her professional career to be in the 4th grade when she placed 2nd in a Young Author’s Competition. Back then she crafted stories about magical mansions and lost treasure. She’s since ditched the treasure hunts, but she'll never give up on the magical mansions (or the morally grey men who inhabit them).
These days, when Nikki isn’t writing or daydreaming about villains, she can either be found in the woods or at home with her husband and daughter.
Boy howdy, the drama in Neverland rivals any of the Real Housewives reality shows out there. Surprisingly, I felt like this had a lot less sex than the previous two books, but there was still room for some well choreographed mattress mambo, and even a gangbang with Winnie and The Lost Boys. So yeah, after that sequence, I bid farewell to my childhood memories once and for all. There is no more innocent Disney-esque Peter Pan, there is only Pan, the overly aggressive and sexual Never King. Now I was looking forward to the Crocodile making his first appearance here, and finding out that he was just an inked up dude was a big let down. But there was a good payoff towards the end, so it was all good. The story itself has gotten very complicated, and I’m unsure if it’s just because of the delay between each book or if the author doesn’t feel the need to address much of what’s gone on in earlier books all that much. I was always instructed to give brief catch up segments, leading into the newest book in a series, to both refresh current readers, and also let brand new readers have some idea as to what’s happening, wherever they’re deciding to start the series. So that was my biggest critique here, but the series continues to keep my interest and I look forward to the next installment.
Their Vicious Darling is fast-paced, action-packed, and every bit as steamy as you’re hoping! If you enjoy dark romance with great spice and an element of dark fantasy then this series is a must read for you. It is a dark romantic reimagining of Peter with his lost boys and Wendy. I loved seeing Winnie come into her own more, with a little more development of her relationship with the Lost Boys. I am screaming. Why does her books end with a cliffhanger!! Literally all three of them. That being said I loved it as always and I can't wait to read more.

Quotes: “To all the girls who were ever afraid to embrace their dark side.”
“Once you know you can lose something, it’s hard to dismiss the fear that you could lose it again.”
“Women fascinate me. They are almost always underestimated, which makes them potentially some of the most lethal opponents.”
I picked this audiobook up on Libby when the hold I placed on it became available for me to check out and it was about fucking time, pun intended. lol

This book follows Winnie Darling, as Vane finally accepts her and becomes part of her harem, just as the Darkland royal family comes to Neverland to reclaim the dark shadow from him. Winnie is not familiar with war but the others sure are.

My heart broke for Winnie, especially when Cherry decided to be a complete bitch. I should have seen the plot twist with the dark shadow of Neverland coming a mile away but I was still horrified. lol I guess that says a lot about me not being able to read between the lines, huh? lmao
I can't wait for the group's HEA to happen, especially after the last page of this book. I should have seen that plot twist coming as well but I still didn't see it. I'm angry that Pan has another wrench in his plans for Winnie but it should have been obvious from the beginning. UGH.
I don't like Cherry after the events of this book and don't care what happens to her or Captain Hook. Is that bad? lol I'm not sure how I feel about Roc at this point but I'm hoping we'll get more about his backstory soon enough.
I want to see more battles instead of the sex but I knew what I was walking into when I got through the first book. I knew I was going to need to expect a lot more sex than plot but I'm surprised at the amount of plot we've gotten so far.
Definitely not as much plot or backstory explanation as the books that are more fantasy-forward but that's to be expected at this point. I would definitely love more information about the magic system but I don't think we're getting that since the series only has one more book after this one.
It does make me sad, yes, but I'd still recommend this book and the series in general at this point. I am reading and listening with bated breath to see what happens in the next book. I can't wait for the audiobook to become available on Libby so I can listen to it as soon as possible!
Like the previous books this picks up right where we left off
Let me first state how I just love how the author gave us Numerous POV’s , which are completely closed due to the fact there are numerous characters in this series. Neverland is turn upside down with all that is going on in this book
♥️Peter Pan retelling ♥️dark romance ♥️Reverse Harem ♥️ Blood and War ♥️ Revenge. ♥️Magic
The plot is intriguing. And very spice🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 This book seemed to have a complete balance between the plot and smut
I just loved the character development in this book, and found the storyline much more engaging. And to say that Winnie rocked this book is putting it mildly.
What can I tell you about Vane and Pan, other than the fact that I freaking love them … they are both dark and powerful, but very possessive towards Winnie=(hurt her and I’ll kill you)
I must say, I really didn’t like the trio of Darkland royals and I thought that it was laughable that they plan to claim their shadow from Vane
I wanted to mention the fact that we have a new character in this Installment. Crocodile—they say he is brutal, remorseless, and cruel… and he has a dark secret.
I think that hook might have moved Out of one frying pan and into another.
I must say that Smee seems to hold a lot of other people’s secrets
Cherry might just end up paying high price for her part in Winnie’s new mood I’m curious to see where the author’s going to take us with Tilly, Kas & Bash in the final installment. Yes, I’m going to once again complain about the fact that there is a cliffhanger to this installment. Even worse is that there is no release date to the final installment to this series……… So, if you haven’t noticed, I really, really do not like cliffhangers. Forgive me for venting. Damn it, I have so many questions that I need answered!!!!!!
Like the previous books this was also inhaled in no time at all. Like puzzle pieces were privy to more discoveries, a new character introduced 🔥 and even more questions needing answers.
This new character Roc reeled me in effortlessly perking my interest each time we get hid POV
Numerous POV’s which normally I dodge but it suits this book perfectly making the whole reading experience that much more enjoyable. This picked up exactly where the previous book left off.
I’m definitely enjoying this unique ride this author has taken me on to date and I can’t wait for the next book!
i thought it was the last in the series but it is in fact, not. so it was just a boring middle installment with so much action i didnt care about. but the wolf was cool.
anyway im giving up on this series because the author is dragging it out so unnecessarily.
As if things weren’t complicated enough… The Crocodile, (aka Roc, aka Devourer of Men) has just arrived on Neverland along with members of the royal Darkland family. They are determined to get Vane’s Death Shadow back at any cost.
Their Vicious Darling is fast-paced, action-packed, and every bit as steamy as you’re hoping! Just as with the first two installments, we have more questions than answers, leaving us with our jaws dropped when the epilogue concludes. What the… Where did… How in the… Who is… When will…
I really have loved every word of this series. The world-building has been handled so flawlessly that I feel like I teleported to the treehouse as soon as I opened the first page. I just wish I could take a bite of Bash’s cloudberry pancakes! 🥞
I freaking loved seeing Winnie’s saucy side and I’m even more smitten with Vane. Roc and Hook have intrigued me more than I expected. That said, I feel like in any other book the number of POVs would be distracting and confusing. However, I found that it really works here and I enjoyed hearing their thoughts.

I was so fucking wrong. How could I have given this three stars before? This is amazing. Just fucking amazing. I had so much fun! The feels I get by these men, OMG.
These books are like crack. They're like those mini packets of Pringles. You enjoy them, but you're never satisfied enough. You could always eat a couple more. It's cute that the books are short and easy to read, but if they were 800 pages long I wouldn't complain.
It has everything. Political intrigue, action, fantasy, and gorgeous men. Oh, the men.
There were more character dynamics that I loved in this one, and it was also a bit stressful. And the men. Wow, these men.
I want to talk more about it but I don't want to be repetitive so I'll do a long review for the last book and just review the whole thing as a series.
I am screaming. Why does her books end with a cliffhanger!! Literally all three of them.
I will admit that the ending was unexpected, i did not for a second think that was going to happen. After reading it, i can say that the title is definitely fitting. The Darling is vicious in this book. There was a moment when my eyes widen because I thought he died. This book was a rollercoaster. A spicy, vicious rollercoaster.
I think I'm done with this series. It's just not going anywhere beyond random sex scenes and a plot that goes round in circles. The crocodile character, yet another new addition, makes no logical sense and his abilities just seem to be some kind of deus ex machina to solve Hook's problems. And the two didn't even get together. And I'm still trying to get my head around Wendy and all that nonsense.
2 stars just for the fact I finished this on audio.
What another fabulous trip to Neverland!!!!! This is my favorite book from this series!!!! Winnie is the fucking bomb!!! Nikki St. Crowe has upped this character to a magnificent level! Making her a even bigger bad ass then in previous books! Winnie has always been a smart and sassy chic learning long ago how to survive at any cost in the human world and when she came to neverland it was no different. Pan and vane tried to break her but she turned it all around on them and has not only them but the fae princes Bash and Kas not only eating out of hand and other places!😂 But also making her their queen.Cherry fucked up when she locked winnie up in the room with the death shadow! If you thought she was a threat and fearless before you can only imagine how deadly she's become and I love it!! This book also had the Croc!!! God is he hot!!!! Scary as fuck but still hot!!! He's smart and devious and totally out for himself but he's also very mesmerizing like a snake and if you get too close you'll definitely be his next meal. I loved the spin Nikki gave to the watch he carries, it was a genius twist. I also loved the vibe between him and Hook! Even though he took the captains hand theirs a sexual awareness between these two that I hope Nikki explores more! Just the little interaction between the two was sexy. I think it would be quite a hot steamy coupling! Again this is a very primal sex fest made even hottie by winnie carrying the death shadow! This girl satisfied all her men no problem! But theirs so much more between Winnie and the boys besides awesome mind blowing sex! Nikki St. Crowe does give us another hot filthy read but with substance and some really tear jerker moments! See the thing about this writer is she is a awesome storyteller who doesn't just rely on steamy sex scenes to sell a book. You can only write so much about sucking and fucking and its her talent as a great writer to give us something more! And boy does she do that!!! Can't wait for the final book in this series! It ended with Pan getting a suprise unexpected vistor!!!!! Until next time Luv's💕💋
Because I am Winnie fucking Darling and no man will steal my power.😉💋
The only good thing about this book is that it’s short.
Honestly I don’t know what I was expecting. The bar was incredible low and ‚their vicious darling‘ still decided to play limbo.
„He’s shirtless because he always is.“
The plot is still poorly executed, inconsistent and made up on the go. I’m mad about the wasted potential - but I won’t rant about that because I already did in my last two reviews for the previous books.
“Whoever finds her first gets to pick a hole.”
But what I will rant about - because it became unbearable for me - is the misogynism in this book. And it’s even worse that it’s written BY a women FOR other women. Let’s be honest it’s mostly disgusting male gaze 🌽 fantasies. I‘m gonna share some gems.
“Yes, fuck me, Dark One. Make me your cum slut.”
The FMC likes sex. And I really like that about her. Because I grew up with stupid societal beliefs like ‚men who enjoy themselves have the master key and women who do the same have a weak lock‘ teaching me to be ashamed of myself and hide - so it’s great to see the opposite and get an empowering FMC, right?
“Our Darling wants to act like a whore,” Vane says, “shall we fuck her like one?”
Wrong. Winnie’s purpose is not promoting female empowerment. The only purpose of her sexuality is to satisfy four constantly horny men and their desires. We’re told that we shouldn’t shame her for enjoying herself and then she’s constanly called a ‚whore‘. Yeah, well, thank you for pointing it out and then using words who implicitly contain judgement (Quoting the dictionary: whore = insulting word for a women who has sex with a lot of different partners and whose behavior in her sexual relationships is considered immoral) and even enforce that by obviously implying, whores don’t have to be treated respectfully. Nevermind 🙄
Pan gets in close at my backside. “Let’s fuck her at the same time.” “You think she can take it?” “I think she doesn’t have a choice.”
And even though she enjoys sex, she unfortunately doesn’t participate acitvely. Instead she’s constantly objectified, used and degraded. Which can be a kink, fine, but one at least some level of respect for each other is needed. Everything else is just taking advantage and power imbalance. Consent is a difficult topic as well. She often has no option to voice her disconsent and if she does, it’s either ignored or disrespected and sexual actions become ‚punishment‘ (No joke, it actually happened that way).
[…] she pulls up just enough to breathe out roughly around my 🍆 . “She likes that,” I tell him. “I fucking love that,” she says.
But in order to prevent that it could be interpreted as r@pe, she never fails to state at least one time per interaction how much she likes it. So don’t worry, everything’s fine 🙃
Ugh. What kind of message does the author want to send with all of that?
OH MY GOD. This one is my favorite so far. I am dying for the last book.
Winnie has become a badass and I am glad. There were so many more characters in this book and man it was awesome. Roc, the fae queen, pan, hook, the twins, AHHHH!
I was so excited after the second book left off on such an intense cliff hanger and this book definitely lived up to it!!!!!
So far I liked book 2 the most. I did enjoy this one, maybe not even as much as book 1 though I'm still giving it 4 stars because I feel like the smut is good, the emotional impact is good, and the storyline is also good and I just can't get over how creatively the whole Peter Pan fairytale has been twisted up into this dark tale, but it's still so familiar! BUT, I think in this book it started to feel like you've really got to do the whole suspending your disbelief a lot. There's a lot of parts where I find my inner self going OOOOOOKAY SUUUUUURE. But in an amusing way, like that was so ridiculous, but I'm still having a good time. And it's crazy how many people in this storyline are either playing both sides or have loyalties on both sides, I've never seen so many characters sit on the fence in one book 😅 That being said, I'm still enjoying all of them! It seems like shit hits the fan every couple of pages so it's hard not to be entertained. And I would definitely recommend this series.
I must say that this dark Peter Pan retelling has held me in the palm of its hands this weekend. As Pan and the Lost Boys celebrated the return of his shadow and their continued relationship with Winnie Darling, other forces are approaching Neverland to topple the Never King.
With a fantastic cliffhanger used in the epilogue, I am eagerly anticipating my future adventures with the Lost Boys.
The third book was actually so good. I think it delivered the "more" that I was looking for in the first two books. I loved the little side quest with Hook and Rock. I can't wait to finish this series! 😊
