Wonderful way to delve deeper into what the Sacred Heart means for each of us personally. Fr. Laramie combines anecdotes, Ignatian spirituality, and guided contemplations to breathe life into your understanding of Christ’s love for us in His Heart. Would also be great to do as a group study and perfect for the month of June and the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus! 10/10 would recommend.

I’ve been a Fr. Joe Laramie fan for awhile now, and he does not disappoint with his second release! His writing style is so approachable, which makes for an easy read in daily life. If you’re hoping to enrich your spiritual life, pick this up!

I used the reflections in this book for my annual retreat, during which I reflected on the first 6 chapters, and spread the last three over the following months (with a pause of Advent).
Fr. Laramie combines personal stories, Scripture, and writings of the saints to lead the retreatant from reflection on their personal history to growth in relationship with Christ. I was expecting more of the latter and less of the former, but this book offers much food for thought and, even more, for prayer.

Great book. I’ve always wanted to do an Ignatian Spiritual retreat but have been rather intimidated. This book is written in a way it can be meaningful and an opportunity for growth each time you read it (and I plan on reading it many more). As an novena it is accessible for a busy lifestyle and I enjoy the way it incorporates history, theology and personal experience.

I received an ARC of, Love Him Ever More, by Fr. Joe Laramie, SJ. This is a really great read, a retreat to do on your time, using the Ignatius way. Their are prayers and meditation, and stories.
