this review took me hours with all the panels selecting lmao
first of all guys,let’s ignore the fact that this review is coming like three months late lmao
this manhwa was so subtle, so gentle in a bear hug kind of way, so prettyy. yuyeon and bareum had the perfect slowburn. each panel was perfection in itself, PLS.
they started like this and yk it’s gonna be good when it starts like this:

this had 152 chapters and i enjoyed, every panel, every word in each one of them. the amount of scenes that i’ll never get over are too many. so beware, this review is gonna have a LOT of panels <3
i started getting into it slowly, but then i reached a moment were all i could think about during my midterms were this two adorable characters’ love story. im surprised i passed my exams lmao.
the story had the perfect mix of lol moments and devastating momentswhich made me cry like a crybaby, cuz it’s visual
it also had profound lessons underlining the storyline and loveable characters. the main plot was bareum romantic life, but there were also little romances of other characters, and i just loved them all.
this was a romance story, but it portraited so many ways of seeing, feeling, experiencing love. bareum, our fmc, never allowed herself to fall in love, or be in a relationship, she decides that it’s time for her to be in a relationship because that’s a part of uni-life too, so it was a first time kind of love. jaehyun’s was a long one sided love. ahreum’s was leaving her relationship behind and finding a way to love herself first. hanam’s was all about waiting to learn for the one you truly love. Finally, doeun’s was leaving a toxic relationship behind and the healing process afterwards.
And overall these 152 chapters you see the love of these characters for themselves and the ones around them. you see they form a lot of friendships and how romances flourish all over the different seasons of the year. this started as the funny rom-com kind of read but ended up being a deeper than that.

anyways, so bareum lives her life by her planner, everything has to be planned step by step. she’s a topper bc of her planning habilities but some think of her as some sort of IA that doesn’t know how to have fun. one day, when she’s in the cafe that her bsf works, she has a sweet moment with her bsf’ co-worker jaehyun that has a programming club and offer her to join. so she the club to explore her passion and maybe love? so, as she’s part of the programmign club she gets to meet new people and spend more time with jaehyun, and falls in love…read it, bc idk how to summarize without spoiling the shit out of the story, sorry

bareum is our study machine, the friend who plans all the trips, weddings, parties with her planner. she was so smart but at the same time so clueless and clumsy in love matters. it was so pretty in a im gonna cry way, to see her like fall in love w jaehyun, everyday more desperately wanting to confess her feeling to him. to finally realize that maybe she just loved him bc from the very start she had planned of having a bf after seeing him, so it was the planner obsessed girlie inside her wanting to fall in love w jaehyun, not her. ugh, idk, but the whole realization process was so pretty it made me cry 🤧💓 overall she was so loveable, leaving the parts when she neglected my bby yuyeon’s love.

ughhh, what can i even say pls. he’s my bby, my gamer <3 where bareum does everything on time and all planned out, yuyeon takes everything really chill and kind of last moment. ilovehim sm bc my boy yuyeon was not in bareum’s planner and knew but either way confessed his feelings for her in such a heartbreaking way. he’s the standar ladiesi want a gamer bf like yuyeon to my reader ass pls 🥵💐✨💓🥰🛐💋🏃🏽♀️🦦🤩
how can someone not love him pls, he ran to the drugstore for stomachache medicine bc bareum would feel sick everytime she got nervous. he's obsessed w videogames, strawberry milkshakes and a girly videogame character since he was 7. HE BLUSHES FOR HIS GIRL FFS

with that said, if this webtoon ever gets adapted to a k-drama, believe me when i say you WILL hear me screaming, it doesn’t matter where you live, you’ll hear me.

I-
I need to recover before I write a review
Okay so this webtoon was a very pleasant journey, at the beginning it was just another average web comic but the more I read the more I noticed this was different, the characters felt so real that I fell in love with them, Yuyeon is just 🤌🤌 he really elevated my romance expectations even higher, and Bareum is just lovely. I like that they felt just so normal, there weren't mayor problems in the plot but I enjoyed it so much!
I wish I could read it for the first time and feel all the warm in my heart and that happiness that this webtoon evoqued in me.
I'm really grateful to the author for making such a lovable story and characters they'll always be in my heart.

The first manhwa/colored animation I have read this year and I have thoroughly enjoyed the first 12 chapters! The main character is really likeable, she also has a very approachable personality and very funny! I absolutely adore Bareum, she has these natural aspects that is very refreshing to read. The pacing of the story is actually very good. Bonus points for all the characters, they have really distinctive personalities! Excited to read more.

Romance 101 is another comfort read :) Slowly build, but very well executed. As a reader, you can see how the main character grows out of her insecurities, how characters recognize, thinks about, and what their actions are based on. All the reasoning is presented. I'd say it's a strong manga about different types of relationships.

Me encantan los personajes y me siento tan identificada con Bareum por su estilo de organización que ya no me siento como si fuera una loca por las listas, y hablando del ship, espero demasiado de la historia, porque evidentemente tengo un favorito.

Por fin, después de meses de estar leyendo este Webtoon, pude terminarlo. Me da lástima ponerle una nota tan baja porque no es un mal Webtoon en absoluto: toca temas muy importantes, como el amor propio, lo cambiantes que son las relaciones, incluso las que creíamos que iban a estar para toda la vida, porque nosotros como personas vamos cambiando con el tiempo, lo que es una relación sana y con comunicación como la gente, y el dolor y soledad que genera el amor no correspondido. Amé mucho más las parejas secundarias que las principales xd (los hermanos de los protas fueron mi único consuelo en este Webtoon que es como 80 capítulos too long, y también me gustó mucho Hanam aka el único que merecía más que el amor no correspondido que le tocó vivir). Pero la realidad es que, por más lindo que fuera el dibujo y la historia, la lectura de este Webtoon se me hizo insoportable. Sentí que no lo terminaba más y que hubieron MÍNIMO 80 capítulos demás. Entiendo por qué a la gente le gusta esta historia... but it was just not for me. Anyways, por fin me lo pude sacar de encima I guess.

Jag var typ obsessed med den här för nått år sen, den var jätte gullig o allt sånt. Men tbh det var bara en generic dragged out love triangle. Också var det ens en love triangle om det var SÅ uppenbart vem hon skulle välja? Idk. Aja, den var cute men inget speciellt. Plus storyn kunde ha slutat när de blev tillsammans, like vad var ens poängen efter det det var bara tråkigt. Like åh nej det är sommarlov och han är upptagen ASSÅ JAG BRYR MIG INTE

4.75 of the shiniest, sparkliest, brightest stars in the universe !!!!!! 🌟
Wow, where do I start? This webtoon is fantastic and I'm currently overwhelmed by all the feels so I'll break down my favourite aspects into list form as I usually do in such situations:
1. realistic portrayal of life in your 20s - I love love LOVE the way these fictional characters represent the very real challenges, changes and emotions experienced while navigating life as a young adult. Each character is so well fleshed out and their storylines are layered with authenticity. I am sure any young adult/teenager reading this would be able to find at least one character or scenario they can relate to. As a university student traversing the treacherous waters of my own early 20s, I could relate so deeply to the characters' choices and situations, and I could commiserate with the conflicting thoughts and confusing emotions. I believe that the author truly succeeded in conveying so much wisdom and so many life lessons through this story, even if she didn't entirely mean to! This makes Romance 101 a MUST READ in my opinion.
2. The many shades of love - I absolutely adored the diversity in the love stories. Usually, webtoons wrap up with ALL the characters living "happily ever after" in their respective dominant ship (that's what we as readers want right?). But this story truly reflects the many forms and challenges of love as a reality. Each relationship is so well-written with a unique subplot and development. The author portrays love in a realistic, but hopeful way. It serves as a reminder that life is not as simple as black/white and everything, including relationships, comes in varying shades of grey. There hardly ever is a right/wrong choice or a good/bad person in life, and this webtoon is a powerful reminder of that.
3. Friendship and family - Linking with the previous point, this story has such beautiful friendships. It represents the very real struggles of growing up and changing along with your friends! The relationships between siblings are emphasized as well!! As a sucker for platonic love, my heart beamed and ached as I followed the characters along in a variety of different relationships.
4.Characters - What more can I say beyond I LOVE THEM WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOUL 💗 I spent many sleepless nights giggling over character banter and crying over cute interactions. A piece of me will always belong to this story.
5.Afterword - The author's note really had me in tears😭😭😭 I love reading the author's note because it's always so interesting to delve into the thought processes and beliefs they had while writing. All I can say is: NAMSOO, YOU ROCK! 🤩🥺✊
I know I'm probably leaving out a huge chunk of my thoughts and feelings, but it's really just too much for a simple goodreads review. It's a good one. You should read it.

I'm reading this on webtoon. But like--- the absolute cutest romance ever.

tbh I’m disappointed. I thought it would be more feeling invoking but it was very much an ordinary story. the author planned the story out this way, so I guess goal achieved. I just wish that it went a little deeper into character issues. Until I read the afterword I didn’t really understand Jaehyeon’s reason for not dating Bareum. The webtoon just showed him with his club responsibilities, when I thought he would have to work more to help his family out with money. I really enjoyed reading it and it finishes pretty open ended (other than the main couple). It’s a very happy webtoon :)) props to the author for finishing it

one of my favourite webtoons!! I remember the days I used to read its unofficial translations haha, lovely story and amazing characters. bareum x yuyeon is such a wholesome couple ahh. also a story with a love triangle that doesn't drag for too long and doesn't give the second lead a villain arc or any of that drama. love how the author emphasized platonic relationships over romance too <3

I read up until the fmc and mmc got together <3 (chapter 102) but honestly it’s fun but nothing special as a manwha, I’m just heavily in my webtoon era so🫶🏼

3,8... Muy buen webtoon, aunque me quedó una sensación medio rara a la hora de terminarlo. Me hubiera gustado que se indagara más en el final de cada personaje secundario y que no se dejara tan al aire, y aunque llega a tocar muy buenos temas, siento que la manera de la que los tocó me dio tristeza y no me hizo sentir que fueran finales felices, si no... Complicados.
Igualmente me gustó cómo empezó a girar la historia de romance y a formarse poco a poco, sin olvidarse de la amistad de la protagonista y que pudieramos ver varios personajes desarrollarse o ver su humanidad en la historia...
