신초아에겐 누구에게도 말 못 할 비밀이 있다. 동화책에 나올 법한 상상 속 존재 ‘인어’가 바로 자신이란 것. 인간 아버지와 인어 어머니 사이에서 태어난 초아는 인어지만 헤엄에 서툴러 성인이 될 때까지 아버지가 있는 육지에 올라와 생활하게 된다. 가끔씩 자유롭게 헤엄치는 수영 선수들을 보며 씁쓸한 마음을 다독이던 초아에게 어느 날 인생을 바꿔놓는 사건이 일어난다. 같은 반 수영 특기생 이수영에게 정체를 들켜버린 것! 그것도 반에서 제일 시끄러운 수영에게. 초아는 자신의 비밀을 지켜 달라고 신신당부하지만, 과연 바람대로 지켜질 수 있을까?

Choa é uma sereia, mas nunca conseguiu aprender a nadar. Logo, vive na terra com seu pai, enquanto sua mãe e suas irmãs vivem no mar. Certo dia, Soo, um membro do time de natação da escola, descobre seu segredo e oferece ensiná-la a nadar.
Pontos positivos:
1 Choa é uma personagem adorável e por ser uma sereia vivendo na Terra, poderia ser bem boba e fraca, mas ela é determinada e não se deixa fraquejar perante as pessoas;
2 traços de Choa, como ela preferir ficar sozinha ou evitar visitar sua família, são explicados conforme a história se passa;
3 o desenvolvimento da amizade de Soo e Choa é encantador;
4 a forma como é formado um triângulo amoroso, mas que não pressiona a protagonista a escolher alguém, mas sim ser algo natural do envolvimento dos personagens. No caso, o personagem que não fica com a protagonista não se torna central a história;
5 os mal-entendidos são pontuais e críveis;
6 em meio a história, há pequenas piadas para quebrar o drama e manter o bom humor da situação.
Pontos negativos:
1 não entendi bem como funciona o relacionamento da família de Choa.

Arrancó bien, pero a paritr de un poco antes de de la mitad la historia se me hizo re larga y aburrida. Podría haberle sacado 50ish capítulos y la historia habría sido millones de veces mejor.

I lost this series when webtoon seemed to just stop posting in English, but I loved how much I read before that I'm willing to pull out Google Translate or my Korean Textbook for this.

AMAZING. (Though it’s a love triangle. UGHH.) I dislike love triangles but I am way to invested with the plotline already.

By the way, there are 96 chapters according to webtoon and 7 volumes on goodreads. So I really just divided 96 by 7 and rounded it to 14. So each volume is my review for each 14 chapters!!
(This goes for every manhwa I review)

I said after I cleared my mind, I’ll post a review and here it is finally.

Honestly, this is bland. It’s not the best, not the worse neither. Is it something I regret reading? No. Was I thankful that I’ve read it? Also no. If you’re just finding something to waste your time on and just basically looking for a book to read while not having to stress out about the conflict then maybe this is for you.

I really hope someday we get to see this in an anime format. I loves this story. Was really sweet and cool!

My only note and wish would be that we had more of the best friend and his storyline, I think would had make things interesting for a good love triangle.
