Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).

If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.

This was an unusual collection. Poe, Brontë, and Austen carried this collection.

• "Love me, that I may die a gentler way; hate me, because love's too great for me."
• "You cannot love, my pretty heart, and why? There was a time you told me that you would, but now again you will the same deny."
• "the dark deeds of my outlawed race / will then like virtues shine;/ and men will pardon their disgrace, / beside the guilt of mine."

I was disappointed in this. I expected more vitriol and spite and anger. And it was ... not that.

Viha elu vastu sütitab viha enese vastu. Viha enese vastu, mis kantud vihast elu vastu, süstitab isu elada. Elada, et hävitada oma viha. Elada, et vihata hävingut!
Viha viha vastu on nagu abituse kalk kämmal sinu mõranenud hinge alaseljal. See on sisaliku libedusega südamest üle voolav, samas püsima jääv tunne.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

This is the perfect set of poems to remind you that it’s okay to be angry sometimes. It’s okay to hate something or not agree with someone’s opinions and these poems really helped remind me of that. I think this is the perfect set to keep around for when you need something quick but thought provoking to read. My friend gifted me this one and I really enjoyed it. It had quite a few of my favorites in here as well like Jane Austin and Shakespeare. Highly recommend this collection

Worth it to renew my BN membership just to get a free copy of this. I’ve never laughed so hard at a novelty gift before! This is a slim volume of poetry full of loathing towards oneself, others, and the world. Perfect for the Grinch in your life or as a gag gift.

I was hoping for something a bit more vituperative but I liked the James Stephens poem about how he wanted to make out with his enemy. Also this has one of those to/from gift pages and I thought that was really funny.

An excellent selection of poems that represent hatred for others as well as yourself. It helps to connect with inner emotions and understand them as well.

An interesting concept for a collection! The editors have divided poems into sections based on different types of hate, which I thought was clever. I would argue that some of the selections are not hateful enough, and I was surprised not to find William Blake's "A Poison Tree" included-- to my mind, the greatest poem on the feeling of hatred!
