The Tiffany Wedding

Rate this book
Marriage is back in style. And style is back in weddings. Today's couples are marrying later and have the means and the confidence to indulge their personal tastes in everything from the wording of the invitations to the vintage of the champagne to the kind of photographs that will best capture the mood of the occasion. With that in mind, who better to guide these contemporary couples than Tiffany's, whose name is synonymous with taste.
THE TIFFANY WEDDING, more than a guide to etiquette, includes everything from clothes to interior design, flowers, and food for every season, every setting, every budget. John Loring, Tiffany's Design Director, traveled across the nation to New York, Newport, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Fort Worth, the Napa Valley, and Hawaii, bringing together the finest decorators, caterers, and florists to create settings from sophisticated city to informal country, showing people how to put their personal stamp on the Tiffany touch. Fashion designers Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la Renta, Geoffrey Beene, Arnold Scaasi, and Mary McFadden have designed wedding attire shown throughout this book. Lavish photographs feature the entire array of festivities from the engagement party to the wedding breakfast. Patricia Warner, who writes for Architectural Digest, Connoisseur, and the New York Times, covers all aspects of ceremonial etiquette from composing the newspaper announcements to writing the thank-you notes. And Tiffany's offers uniquely expert advice on jewelry, stationery, silver, china, crystal, and gifts.
THE TIFFANY WEDDING is the ultimate guide to fine entertaining, and a glorious celebration of marriage.
