What I liked: there was a decent amount of emotional depth to wrap around the story, and I'm a sucker for a bit of pining. The steamy scenes were great, and I think the transition from shy/careful/tentative to full on 'let's do this' really added to it.

What I didn't like: the transition to 2 boyfriends was a bit abrupt. I think book 1 did that transition the best, but I suppose this is a novella.

SUMMARY: (SPOILER WARNING)

After all of their friends have seemed to pair off in threes, Annette, Grant, and Bryan are the only ones left on the Beachside trip who haven't gotten the ménage bug. But it's coming. Because Grant and especially Bryan have been pining after Annette for years. So it's only a matter of time before they give in to their need for her.

REVIEW:

An okay one. Again, not as good as the first one in the series, but better than the second one in the series.

One thing about this author's writing style really bugs me though. All three of these books always have these broken off sentences during the dialog. Like the person talking is so overcome with emotion or arousal that they can't bother to finish their sentence. I get what the author is trying to do here. The problem is that this is used CONSTANTLY. So it's not like it's super effective because it's overused. And by the time this book rolled around it was just utterly annoying to me.

Aside from that I liked that both Grant and Bryan seem to want Annette because they want her and not simply to compete with each other. I hated that about Cassie's book.

But the books are quite formulaic and it makes them a tad boring. The first one is great, but then repeating it two more times with virtually the same formula doesn't always work out well and just feels staid.

Overall it's an okay ménage. Not terrible, but not very creative since it's mostly the same format as the others in the series. It's okay.

A Hot steamy romance!

This author is one of my favorite romance/ erotica authors…she manages to beautifully capture emotion and intensity between all of her characters, that enhance all of the smutty goodness. Truly better than EVERY other tik tok romance (*cough* re: smut *cough*) book I’ve read. The MFM ménage is 100% female gaze and for her pleasure and is worth your while

Smutty. Just like the other books in this series. I rated this one a little less because it seemed like the author had a formula for the books and so that made it kind of predictable. Scene with one person, scene with the other and then all together and book over. Would have liked a little more variation.

I liked this book more than the first - maybe because how sweet and understanding the MMCs were with the shy, trying to find the her confidence FMC. They really took care of her and didn’t rush her to make a decision, which I respect.

Found series by listening to Clutch my Pearls podcast (review led first book). With how sweet it was, most def a Barbara book.

I don't need to give you an intro for this book....it's pretty clear what you're getting yourself into, haha ;) Nicely written and I like the balance of the story line with normal dialogue with the progression of the story.
