Author conflates University of Pennsylvania and Penn State University twice in the first treasure. The font is overly large on the opening page of each treasure which makes the tiny text on the following pages a strain to read for older eyes.

Author does a nice job of detailing the theories behind the origins of lost treasure hordes and potential whereabouts or destruction of lost treasures. He does not shy away from criticizing past archaeological misdeeds and the slanted theories that some famed archaeologists held. Overall, a fun read!
