Screaming, crying and sobbing uncontrollably 😭 This webtoon is so beautiful. EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. The ending held my shattered heart and put it back into pieces 🥺 When you realize why all of these events happened in the end that made sense and was so poetic. I loved all the character development that went on with hayoung and jaheyun .They grow a lot and learned a lot. Even though they didn't end up together but they still have pure love for each other. I am glad we got a happy ending😊 Also I really love eunjae 😆 Definitely one of my comfort comics 💗
Can't say I've seen through the whole plot of this story, but via the first 30 episodes of it, I can firmly say that this deserves to be top 5 most touching stories you have ever read. Not all details are about misery and misfortune, nor do they hint anything related to that, but reading it alone makes you feel somewhat nostalgic, wonderstruck and melancholy sometimes. However, those are all very bittersweet and soothing, healing emotions you will get, that makes you constantly want to keep coming back to the story.
Prior to beginning this Webtoon, I had read the masterpiece Flow, and based on that and the fact that Flow and Back To You have the same authors, I knew that this would turn out just as amazing. And I wasn't wrong. The art is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing, and I really like where this story is going. Hoping to learn more of Eunjae's backstory.
I don’t know why I feel a little bit sad throughout the story. I loved the way how all the characters developed in a good way. The feelings of first love is so pure that it makes my heart throb. It’s a very heartwarming story. Loved it.
Not even gonna lie I'm a bit confused... On Webtoons there are only 8 episodes (that finished 2020) and I can't find any continuation... And ep. 8 was definitely not an ending. So like, what the hell???
Still cute tho but I guess I'll never know what happens or how it ends 3

"She's just my first love... who i loved very much."
"Back to You" es un webtoon increíble, sencillamente increíble, no tengo otra palabra para definirlo.
⇏ღ☙Back to You❧ღ⇍ Almost every single night, Yoon Hayoung dreams of her first love from ten years ago, who died in a tragic bus crash that she never forgot. She had always had an unrequited love for him, yet he never noticed her and was always with Jieun, a girl who was mysteriously tied to his life. So when Hayoung goes on a blind date with a man named Eunjae, the two both spend their time reminiscing over their first loves. But then the two of them end up in a bus crash and wake up ten years earlier. Hayoung and Eunjae have a second chance at love during their high school years, but Eunjae is wary to mess with fate where Hayoung is ardent. As Hayoung experiences the flavour of youth as well as getting to know the boy she has always loved, will messing with fate turn out for the better or worse?
Back to You have been a part of my daily life for four months now. The anticipation of settling on my couch and using the daily pass to read the next episode is a part of my routine. It's one of those webtoons that I am unintentionally and emotionally invested in. I spend time at school chatting with other girls about this webtoon and the characters. The premise is well-known and often used. But the characters are what really bring life to the story.
Hayoung is an empathetic, brave, and kind protagonist who never succumbs to the stereotypes of a helpless damsel in distress or a hopeless romantic. She's an instantly likeable protagonist who, throughout several parts of the series, has never once fallen into the annoying cliches that typically happen in romances. What I love so much about Hayoung is that she is level-headed and not overbearing. The heartache and grief she felt over Jaehyun's fate were laid out clearly in order to help the readers understand how important he was to her. Hayoung is more mentally mature than the other high schoolers and tends to make logical decisions rather than stupid ones that add "RoManTiC TeNsIoN."
Eunjae is my favourite character. He cares deeply for some of his peers but tends not to be so outspoken about them. He's a character who really internalises his feelings rather than externalises them, but he also has his own unrequited love. He sticks by Hayoung's side as a loyal friend, comforts her when she needs it, and tells her when she's out of line. He's not the nicest male love interest, but once Hayoung gets to really know him, she realises he is sincere and thoughtful. I love how he never falls into generic male lead tropes about becoming toxic and possessive!
Jieun is a character who really gets on my nerves; I would love to see her humanised more, though I wonder if I will regret stating that. I don't necessarily want to understand her. Jaehyun was a likeable character who was kind and caring as well as friendly. It was really sweet to see him and Hayoung bond, but truth be told, I'm an Eunjae x Hayoung shipper. This webtoon/manhwa is packed with heartache, friendship, and the beauty and pain of first love, with a captivating cast of characters and storyline! ✔️PLOT ✔️PLOT TWISTS ✔️CHARACTERS
my first read for the year is a webtoon !! (´◡`) i was planning on having one of the books from my current reads to be the first one i finish for this year but oh well, things just don't go according to plan whenever i urge the universe to make them happen.
this is the first webtoon i finished from my long list of daily pass stories i consume on the webtoon app c:
as a reader who picks up any new releases and sticks with it when i like the story, i started reading this one when it was first translated but ended up finishing it when it became a daily pass.
the story explores first loves, time loops, what could have beens, and a little bit slice of life. i liked the way the art exudes warmth, how the dialogues between the characters flowed, and how for some of the scenes — i'm not able to predict how it would end.
this turned out to be a refreshing and light-hearted read for me though it also tackled themes on losing a loved one and what comes after for those left behind. overall, i loved the storytelling, the art, and everything about this webtoon!
here are some of my favorite quotes:
"First loves are special, not because they're the first person you ever loved. It's because in those memories, the past you is in it."
"...but all this, it's just meaningless. We went through a lot together and ended up together."
The art is good but the story kinda make feel flustered about those two main character. This main girl fall in love( more like obsessed)with her first crush but her first crushed turns out he's in car accident in rainy day. Ever since the accident, she's thinking about him in her head, so she got blind date that her friend help her out, so the black hair guy appear n wear n look kinda nerdy type guy. Then, both of them meet at the train, in all sudden like those two people somehow in back in the past again before the main girl first crushed in accident so they're try to investigate what happen even though they're are student, trying their best in being normal. I don't finish through the end though 😅, daily pass kinda annoy sometimes plus the main character girl kinda 1) obsessed over her first crush n other black hair guy keep saying don't change the future this n that - blah, blah, n say something about his first love but doesn't tell mc girl who it was. 😅

At the beginning, I didn't like Hayoung, the main character, that much. But I thought that the premise of the story was interesting, so I kept on reading. And I'm so glad I did. She really grew a lot while she was in the past. Eunjae and Jaehyun did as well. The character development is very well done. And the end was amazing. Perfect. It's one of those very rare and unique endings that leaves everyone (both the characters and the readers) satisfied.
It had so much potential in the beginning! I genuinely thought it was going to be one of my fav WEBTOONs of all time. However, the story just ended up jumping back and forth, with the characters unable to make up their minds or being interrupted at crucial moments. The plot dragged on for far too long. Coincidental events happen for the sake of moving the plot forward, and I lost interest by the end. Eunjae was my pick to be with Hayoung, so I really did not care for the romantic moments with Jaehyun. Also, I noticed that the author has a thing for injuring the main girl so that the two male leads will run to take care of her.
4.5 rounded up because I'm comparing it to the other webtoons I've read from this author. Everything comes together seamlessly with characters and situations that provide connection. The characters grew well and I was happy with where everyone ended up.
Back to you Finalizado 4/5 ⭐ Aún me acuerdo cuando empecé la historia y no podía apartarme de mi teléfono.
A bit of a twist about going back in time to eliminate regrets you had in the past not always being what you originally thought. I like how first loves were romanticized but not the main focus or end goal. Cute and happy epilogues.
I've been keeping up with this one for more than a year I think, and I'm very happy with how the story went. The characters feel so real and the ending is incredibly well done, the art is beautiful. Definitely a great webtoon.
such a perfect and satisfying ending, i could not ask for anything better. the characters realisation on why she was brought back to the past in the epilogue just hit me with a wave of emotions 🥹
my second lead syndrome has been fulfilled T_T eunjae was such a great supportive character shfjsjs
