Disaster is just a whisker away...

When two seniors get roped into overnight cat care, a simple plan becomes a rollicking adventure. With the arrival of a hippie cousin, a mysterious young man, and a paranoid daughter on speed-dial, their peaceful evening turns into a date with hell.

Joining forces with his misfit crew, Reggie and Donna take on a psychic phenomena, fight a fiery adversary, and fall into a desperate quest to find the secret lair of a missing feline. When the clouds part and the full moon shines, will all nine kitties and their human counterparts be accounted for?

My definition of cozy this morning was swirling snow outside the window, a hot cup of coffee, and Judith Read’s Cat Ranch. Cat Ranch is a hilarious, yet heartwarming tale about tails...nine of them to be exact. And a reminder that if you live fully in today, accepting adventures as they come, there isn’t a lot of time for regrets.

Also, as Judith is a local (to me) author, there are lots of memories of growing up in Niagara and location dropping, which reminded me of some stories of my own. So I’m adding some comfy nostalgia into that cozy mix.

This is your chance to spend some time in the beautiful rural area surrounding Dunnville, Ontario...share laughter with some new friends, and meet a talented author.

Took me a minute to sort the different characters, but once I had it I was completely engaged. What a great read. A wonderful group of women helping, accepting, and sharing. Through their acceptance, they help with Dan's worse night, and 9 rescue cats, and so very much more. Don't miss this uplifting and surprising story.
