Sebuah buku yang sebenarnya mengulas cukup baik apakah itu Public Relations (PR) bagi kalangan awam. Jujur saja, sejak membaca habis buku dari Al Ries dan Laura Ries yang berjudul "The Fall of Advertising & The Rise of PR", saya jadi semakin tertarik untuk memahami lebih dalam mengenai dunia PR. Itulah alasan utama mengapa saya akhirnya membeli dan membaca buku ini.

Namun entah mengapa bagi saya yang termasuk orang awam, buku ini terasa agak membosankan karena hanya berkutat mengenai langkah-langkah teknis menjalin hubungan dengan pihak media (media relations) saja. Memang hal itu merupakan pengetahuan baru yang menarik, hanya entah mengapa rasa ketertarikan saya yang besar dan misterius terhadap dunia PR masih tetap belum terpuaskan.

Tetapi tetap ada sisi positif yang bisa saya ambil dari buku ini, selain pengetahuan media relations di atas. Saya jadi mengerti istilah-istilah baru di dunia PR seperti: B-roll, Bridging, dan Flagging :-)
