For countless centuries, Isaac Rojas had tried to live the quiet life, but he is forever being pulled to locations just before cataclysmic occurrences. Most recently, he was in New York on 9/11, then in Indonesia when the tsunami hit. Through these events, Isaac is summoned to witness human suffering at its worst, it's a punishment for a deed from long ago. Over time, Isaac started to provide aid to those in dire need. But when George, an old friend from the Vietnam War, spots him and realizes he hasn't aged in forty-seven years, he becomes fixated on understanding Isaac's secrets. With his private investigator son, he follows Isaac throughout Europe and the Middle East, enlisting the help of Angelica, Isaac's love interest. Together, this group tries to uncover the truth about this man riddled with mystery. His secret can never be discovered, the world would not be accepting of his true identity.
An excellent read. The author had me from the beginning. Not only by use of true events in historical places to bring the novel a sense of reality but the characters and story keeps your attention.
I very much enjoyed the paranormal/psychic aspects that came along with the main character, Isaac Rojas. The author keeps the reader on the edge of their seat; leaving one to wonder, what's next, whats around the corner on the next page.
Many questions arise during the book. Who is Issac Rojas's true identity, where does his sensibility to future events come from. The book also has elements of romance, science, the paranormal and an intensity that keeps you wanting more. I look forward to the authours next book. The character building and storyline in this novel is phenomenal.
I absolutely loved Chris Winters' Novella "Endless"! I was drawn into the story right from the beginning! "Endless" is well-written, with a quick pace that really flows! The story is mysterious and imaginative, one that I couldn't have predicted the outcome! If you are looking for a great read, pick up this book because you won't be able to put it down!
Actually a 4.5. Super interesting concept. It was a little slow at the beginning but the last 1/2 I couldn't put down! Loved the characters especially George:-)
The book is based on an old story, with a thought provoking twist. It makes the reader question what the truth is and realize there are two sides of every story. Highly recommend.
