Live! is a lively annual collection of contemporary art, fiction, and poetry, curated by Jeffrey Cyphers Wright, Ilka Scobie and Lori Ortiz. This year's collection includes art by Josiah McElheny, Julie Evans, Tamara Gonzales, Chris Lee, Uman, Erin M. Riley, Kathe Burkhart, and Gail Thacker among others. The artwork is matched with poems by over twenty poets including Michael Lally, Maria Damon, Robert Hershon, Vincent Katz, Jerome Sala, Eve Packer, Bruce Weber, Adeena Karasick, Marc Vincenz, as well as prose by Mike Decapite. Jeffrey Cyphers Wright received an MFA in poetry after studying with Allen Ginsberg. He is the author of 20 books of poetry including Translust, Triple Crown, Blue Lyre, Radio Poems, All in All, Employment of the Apes, and Party Everywhere. He is also a critic, writing for American Book Review. He is a recipient of a Kathy Acker Award for writing and for publishing. Currently he publishes an arts and poetry journal called Live Mag! Wright's latest books include Doppelgängster from MadHat Press and Fuel for Love, winner of a James Tate Award.
