Rate this book

Lin-da (林達) is the pseudonym of a married couple writing under the same pen name. Their other pen names/user names include 丁林 and Dinglin2.

They were both born in 1952, Shanghai, and entered university in 1978, after spending much time in Heilongjiang during the Cultural Revolution. They then emigrated to the U.S. in 1991.

Their works range from a series of essay collections on the U.S. to travelogues on different European countries (France and Spain so far).

(P.S. The name was hyphenated so that it would show up under L instead of D (i.e., "Da, Lin") in an author sort.)
