3.5 Stars- typical JP book by JK

OTT H who becomes obsessed with the h… but this one went into the non Connie territory… and I wanted more 😈👀.

Posy’s (18) a ballerina and her ballet coach is draconian when it comes to her training, so much so that he thinks she has smexxx on the brain too much and can’t focus on dancing, and he knows just how to get her to stop thinking about it- by sending her to his huge as f brother. Now his brother Smith (27) despises women. In his eyes, women are liars and are on the hunt to seduce and torture men, and Posy’s gonna regret meeting Smith- he’s gonna make her pay for being such a liar.

And oh does he make her “pay” 😈👀. I always appreciate a surprise v scene, and this one didn’t disappoint. Of course, Smith feels terrible for assuming so much… and he has to make up his f up 🥵😅.

The dirty talk was usual JK style- duuuurty and graphic 🔥🥵. Posy was surprisingly able to bounce back so quickly after being manhandled- guess being a ballerina has its benefits 💁🏻‍♀️💅.

I would’ve scored this higher if it wasn’t for the random daddy talk. Listen. I can handle *some * daddy kink, but the whole “da…dad…daddy? Yes, I like it. It feels right” aspect doesn’t sit well with me 😅😂. It’s so random 🤡. lol

I also wanted Smith to commit to non Connie. Don’t feel bad 💅 just do it 😂😅. Luckily, Posy was alllll about it. Way to commit Posy 👏🏻🤡.

Overall, I liked it.

I’ll have to agree with some of the other reviews, this one has a darker beginning than most Jessa Kane stories.

We open with Posy being dragged out of ballet practice by her coach. He seems to believe she is distracted by her unfulfilled sexual desires. So in his twisted mind it only make sense to thrust her into the arms of his brother, a man who’s been institutionalized for rape. There’s a few problems though, his brother Smith is actually a good man and Posy is a virgin.

Scared out of her mind she does her best to get away from Smith. After all he is a man of few words and an imposing beast of a man compared to her petite ballerina form. But as with all things carnal desires overcome and they have a whirlwind five days of nonstop devouring.

When police involvement is threatened by Smith’s brother, Posy’s Coach, she finally returns to her life away from her new love. But when he cannot handle the separation he goes after her. I enjoyed this display of devotion and unyielding need. It showed that while he was weak for his woman he was a strong Alpha willing to protect her. This is a refreshing turn after the cowardice displayed by the H in Temp. I will never be on board with a H that feels it appropriate to kill themselves if they cannot have you. No you idiot, you earn your woman’s trust and devotion back not eliminate yourself from the equation. Anyway, I digress. Smith’s willingness to overcome his minor agoraphobia to find his ballerina and take her home had me swooning in the end.

Hands down one of my favorites from the Queen herself, Jessa Kane.
It was a perfectly smutty, super unrealistic but oh-so dreamy and kinky little love story.
I loved that it wasn't so heavy on the ddlg kink department and I REALLY loved the few delicious non-con rough seggs scenes 🔥

Btw, anyone know what's up with her being MIA these last few months? I miss her and need my fix of Jessa Kane!

Read this only if you don't mind the stupidity of the tall giant whose name I don't even know.

Jessa Kane has been giving me so much serotonin with her releases lately. This one took a bit of a darker turn, but I should have known she would still give us a HEA. I think Smith is the most feral love interest that she’s written. And when I say feral, I mean FERAL! Dear goodness, some of the stuff that he said was so hot!

As usual, this had a bit of daddy kink and I was living for it! I know a lot of reviews in her previous books want her to stop, but Jessa if you're reading this, never stop including it!

All in all, another winner for me.

me he sacrificado leyendo esta historia para llegar a la conclusión de que es LA PEOR COSA QUE HE LEÍDO EN MI VIDA (no, no estoy exagerando) y acá les dejo mi desahogo porque quedé sin palabras de que una autora escribiera algo así de lo más casual y lo ROMANTIZARA, y lo peor… que tuviera el descaro de escribir un final feliz 🤢

a ver, la primicia de todo es que esta chica Posy es arrastrada contra su voluntad —por su instructor de baile—, ya que considera que esta chica necesita una lección para sacarse el sexo de la cabeza, y oh wow la mejor opción es que alguien abuse de ella para que se le quiten esas ideas pecaminosas y pueda concentrase en el ballet, así que literal la deja en una habitación donde vive un inadaptado social que odia a la mujeres y las agrede bajo la excusa de que “todas las mujeres mienten” 💀

así que literalmente este hombre (tiene 27 años) agarra a esta chica y comienza a desgarrar su ropa, a pesar de que esta le dice que NO y que se detenga, pero él sigue a adelante porque ajá “todas las mujeres mienten” y está completamente seguro de que Posy es una ramera que pide a gritos que la reclamen 💀

¿el resultado? pues este desagradable hombre le quita su v-card con su mano y cuando ve la sangre es que SE DA CUENTA de que esta chica es inocente y que de verdad estaba lastimándola…

a pesar de los hechos anteriormente mencionados, al final la chica le pide que explique sus razones para pensar que las mujeres mienten (a pesar de que la agredió y se encuentra desnuda en ese momento), y luego de contar su historia ella llega a la conclusión de que… ES BUENA PERSONA, porque se CONTUVO DE VI0L4RL4 y eso significaba aLGO, y ella decide SANAR SU TRAUMA a través del SEXO CONSENSUADO (no es joda)

luego de todo eso, es que le pREGUNTA SU EDAD, y milagrosamente esta chica tiene 18, y él le dice que parece menor, y ella le pregunta si no le molestaría FINGIR QUE ES ASÍ dios qué mierda tiene la autora en su cabeza

y para mi desgracia, comienza la mierda de «daddy» y ya ni me molesto en contar lo demás

a todas estas me quedo una gran duda… cuantas veces el instructor (que resulta que es el hermano de este sujeto) dejó a una chica encerrada en esa habitación para que este hombre las agrediera 💀

en fin, no lean a esta autora ni esta historia

I enjoyed this one! It had daddy kink, which is pretty played out in Jessa Kane novellas, but it wasn’t as heavy as it usually is and that, to me, helped the story.

Why 4 stars? Because I love me a big, damaged, fat hearted, abused, possessive man. Shit is hot af. Yay for Smith’s happy ending... all of them.

Holy hotness, Batman.
That was intense.

This was intense, and crazy, and absolutely ridiculous, and scorching hot.
Fuck was it hot.

There’s just something about this author’s filthy words that really get to me.
And this little 60 some page novella was no different.

There was a tiny ‘Daddy’ kink that’s been prevalent in most of her recent books. There was filthy dialogue. Just the crudest, sexiest, dirtiest things flying from each character’s mouth and setting the pages on fire.
Then there was the choking and the spanking of body parts other than Posy’s ass.

Just everything was fucking filthy and delicious.
Complete and utter madness and ridiculousness.
But wholly delicious.

As always, I’ll be impatiently waiting for my next fix of this author’s erotic fantasies put to page.
