Grim & Beast Duet #2

Heads You Lose

Rate this book
Beast…

Beast in name. Beast in nature.
Once upon a time Tales was my home.
I was the second in command and the best goddamn fighter the club had ever seen.
I fought. I won.
Every. Damn. Time.
Until one day I lost trying to protect the princess from the true monster of this f*cked-up fairy tale.
She shunned me, sent me away.
Now I’m back to tell her the truth, not some tale full of half-truths and lies.
I’ll do whatever it takes to win her over, because if there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s that this beast’s heart only beats for one woman.
The Queen of Tales.

This is book two of Grim & Beast's duet. You may recognise these characters from the Academy of Stardom series.

The finale is here- and oh my heart! I simply adore these two characters, hands down my favorite of Bea’s brilliant creations. There is no love like that of Grim and Beast- and Bea has given them the perfect love story. A consuming, emotionally intense, HELLA steamy (FINALLY!), and epically swoony love story. This finale delivers on all that we wanted for our beloved Kate and Roger- a tender, nostalgic, and gloriously romantic conclusion.

Fans of this dynamic characters already know how their story ends, but after the heartbreaking cliffhanger, I was desperate to find out just how Kate and Roger would recover from the finale. Time and Tales' politics will play into that journey- but the biggest obstacle of all, is that as time passes, both of them change. Kate, most of all, has to deal with the implications of these decisions- now forever cast in the role of Grim. And lIke our last story, Bea is giving us character journeys in parallel. The existential evolution of those characters juxtaposed to them working out all their baggage with each other. Two years have passed, but Beast in exile and Kate becoming the notorious Grim. She’s changed, and the question is, not only can she forgive Beast, but can their love work now? Is there a space for Beast now that Kate is Grim?

And of course, we already know the answer. The beautiful part of this story is that this is really only an issue or concern for Kate. She’s still grappling with her identity, not only worried about how bring Grim will impact her love for Beast, but also worried about losing all that made her Kate. Can both co-exist? Does the Kate Beast love still live inside her, and can he accept the role at her side. And can the infamous Grim afford to love another- will it weaken the once precarious now solid hold she has on her world? But the best part is Beast already has- and already is. In the two years he’s been gone, he’s stopped protecting the princess and started serving the queen. There’s now question for him, no risk, no doubt- he loves how however she needs it. His place is by her side- both the Grim side AND the Kate side. Beast so easily accepts not only all of her but his place in her world, and oh my soul, how romantic. So it really comes down to Kate dueling with herself- her own insecurities, her own fears, her own heart, and learning that there is room not only for Kate and Grim in Beast’s heart, but also in her own soul. Being one doesn’t sacrifice the other. Because with Beast, she doesn’t have to choose or hide. They love every single piece of one another- both sides of the coin, every facet, every piece. Without apology or shame or fear. Because love might be scary, but being apart- well that’s the true danger. Together, they get to be WHOLE.

Bea gave us some MAJOR lady blue balls in the last book, and she certainly makes up for that here. And with good reason, they have years of bent up sexual tension, longing, and so many chaotic emotions. Their first coupling feels like a rabid catharsis- an explosion of all the angst and loss and emotional rawness between them. These two tear up the pages with their steamy connection- one they start, they quite literally can’t stop. AND I AM HERE FOR IT. But Bea also gives us moments tender and sweet- a reminder that Grim is still a young woman, and that Beast loves her with a devotion beyond reproach. The proclamations and sweet nothings in this books are EVERYTHING- to see a man as scary and formidable as Beast put his heart so openly on his sleeve for Grim. OH MY HEART. We all deserve to be loved in the way Beast loves Grim- he worships her. No doubt.

My rating for this story really comes down to my love for these two amazing characters. Bea so perfectly renders their love story throughout this duet. It’s emotionally rich, epically romantic, and deeply satisfying. I’ve never been so invested in two characters finding a path to be together- which is saying a lot, since from her prior series I already know they DO. There’s some other action swirling around them, but to me it almost felt like ambient noise just because I was so thirsty for alone time for these two on the page. And we got plenty of it, which is why I loved this story. But, I did find the non-romantic climatic elements to be a bit, well, anti-climatic. Perhaps that is because the reconnection of these two characters would make anything seem less explosive- the TRUE story is them. They are explosions. Or perhaps it’s that the lead up didn’t quite result in as big of a bang- which I know was limited, in part, by the outcomes of future stories- so perhaps that’s why it seemed a little easy…because, well, it wasn’t. That said, the prologue is a Bea Paige fan’s wet dream. Every character we know and love coming together in the best way possible. Bea hits every note- nostalgic, affection, humor, even a bit of edge. It was truly a perfect ending to this broader chapter of our world, the pitch perfect nexus of all the stories and characters she’s created. And a beautifully emotive closer, at least for now, for the two characters who have captured my heart from the first moment we met them.

There is no love like that of Kate and Roger, Grim and Beast, the princess and her guard. In a world for of darkness and grit, murder and betrayal, secrets and lies, Bea has created one of the most beautiful, purest, and most swoony love stories. The love Bea and all her readers have for this unforgettable pair pours from the page in this finale - and my heart is so full that the princess and her protector have found their way to being the Grim and Beast we adore.

3.5 stars. This isn’t bad, I mostly enjoyed it. But it doesn’t really feel like much of a book, to me. It’s more of a collection of scenes that provide an excuse for cameos for characters from all of Bea Paige’s OTHER stories.

Grim and Beast have been in all of her other books, since all of her stories all set in this shared British criminal underworld. Grim is the badass gangster queen, Beast is her love and right hand man, and they’ve been fun side characters. So it’s been nice to get their backstory...but it feels a bit surface level. It feels more like “deleted scenes” from the background of this shared universe than an independent story that can stand on its own.

For example, King is the main villain in this book, but we don’t get much resolution….because it happens in Bea Paige’s other series, Academy of Misfits. I understand why she didn’t want to write the same scene twice (where King is defeated). But as a result, it leaves this story feeling fragmented and kind of unfinished, since he’s Grim’s enemy in this but that plot line is a loose end, here…unless you go and read that other series.

I’m a fan of this world and these characters, so I still found this enjoyable. But, because this duet feels like a lot of "behind the scenes of what was going on in the background of this OTHER story," it lacks the emotional depth and complexity that Pen and the Breakers have in Academy of Stardom. THAT series remains Bea Paige’s best work by far. But, this was worth reading even just to get crumbs of the Breakers in the epilogue. If you like her other work, it's a treat to see all those characters pop up in this. If you haven't read her other work, it's probably annoying to have a bunch of random characters thrown at you. I would STRONGLY advise reading Academy of Stardom before any of her other stuff.

I do also have to say, this is an amazing cover. I usually don’t like people on covers, because they rarely match how I picture the characters. But this is spot on for Grim. This cover girl is a whole vibe, and it’s perfect.

Overall, this duet was not a bad read but was a bit of a letdown. I understand that Grim and Beast are rooted in everyone's lives in this world, but I still feel like there could have been a better way to do them justice with their own story instead of just making it feel like it exists to fill in blanks of others. And probably because of that, this didn't have the epic feeling that Academy of Stardom had. Even the "second chance" angst in this feels a bit muted, in comparison to the exquisite "second chance" angst in Academy of Stardom. But, that said, I still enjoy every trip to this world with these characters. And this wasn't BAD, I just know that Bea Paige can do better, since Academy of Stardom is amazing. So I’m not sorry I read it, I would still say it's a must-read if you're a fan of her other books, and I’m still very eager for the next story in this world, Debts and Diamonds.

“This is where the fairy tale becomes the reality. This is where true love lives and ultimately ends up leading to you.”

This book is soo full of angst it’ll hurt your soul. But my god it’s so worth it because the whole lead up and the outcome is fucking EXPLOSIVE!! 🙌🏼😍🥵 you can always rely on Bea Paige to give you a fever with the spicy parts!! remember after I read the first book I said you’ll need an ice pack? Yeah well, this time around you’ll need to jump in your freezer 😂 although I think it’s Grim who might need an ice pack for her lady garden 🥴 (if you know, you know) 😜 but for real, isn’t it the moment we’ve all been waiting for? It can’t be just me. All that sexual tension from the first book nearly killed me 😂 if I didn’t know they had a baby already I would’ve assumed it would never happen and they just loved the foreplay and torture 🤣

“I’m fucking feral, wanting to sink my teeth into her flesh and mount her like an animal.”

“Slamming my mouth against hers and kissing her like a forest fire ripping through barren woods.”

“And your family tree is a cactus, because everyone on it’s a prick.” 🤣🤣 beast literally cracks me up so much throughout. The back and fourth banter between him and Grim is everything the same as the first book. I just can’t fault this book, it’s non stop action and jam packed start to finish.

Ford 😭😭 I love him so much. I just wanted to hug him throughout 🥺🥺 his character is everything ❤️ was literally sat sobbing at parts 💔

Are you ready for my confession?! God I’m ashamed… I haven’t read Academy Of Misfits yet 🙈 they’re all on my kindle… I tell you what, I’m reading them next!! 🙌🏼😂 even more eager now that I love a certain character and I know he is in it haha ❤️

Thank you bea Paige for writing a story for Grim & Beast 🙌🏼🖤

I'm happy to say that I enjoyed this book even more than the first! I think the time jump really helped warm me up to Grim and Beast since there was obviously a bigger conflict in their relationship now than in the first book. It was resolved pretty early on and eventually we finally got the spice we've been waiting for and it did not disappoint! If anything, this book proved to me that these two truly are perfect for each other and that they make an unstoppable team. I will also say that getting some background story/appearances for other characters in this world was one of my favorite parts! Seeing a baby Christy and Ford was so precious and I loved learning how Grim came to meet them and watching the beginning of their relationships develop. Add in that epilogue where we see the three of them together again and I was a goner drowning in a puddle of heart mush! 🥹❤️

If you're new to Bea you should know that this book takes place in the past and was written after most of the cameo characters already have their own completed stories. Because of that, there is a limitation on what can happen in this story enemy wise due to the fact that it has to line up with the events that would later take place in the timeline. These characters couldn't really have a big bad guy to take on because as Grim said herself, that wasn't their story to tell. I still really enjoyed this book but as a disclaimer this is more of a story of how they got together and grew into the power couple we know and love because Bea loves her fans enough to give us this story after we all begged for it. This is not a story focused around a plot with the goal to vanquish the biggest bad guy there is but if you're already endeared to these characters after seeing them show up in other series then I think you'll absolutely love this duet!

Overall Opinion :
Grim and beast are back. I have been waiting for this conclusion for a long time. The ending of the last book gave me a whiplash and I wanted to know more. There is always this one thing with Bea Paige lmao , I always love her first book of the duet but things sort of dry down in the second book. This book was good but not her best work definitely.

Nonetheless , I am so glad that we have Beast and Grim's full story , they are both amazing and I love them so much. This is a must read for her fans , who have followed her work. We all know how much Beast and Grim needed their story to be told and I am happy that happened! Totally recommending this one to all the dark romance loving people out there.

I’m not crying, I swear. This book. The characters. Their love… I just can’t stop smiling and crying happy tears. They’re so beautiful and I love them so much. I feel so much joy and happiness right now. I don’t want their love story to be over!!!

Strong female characters are what I love… and you best believe Kate is exactly that! She is magnificent. She is a fighter. She has continued to build up Tales. She has grown so much and has become this cutthroat boss. I love Kate so much and she is absolutely beautiful and sexy.

Beast is my favorite male character EVER. I was swooning, I was crying, I was laughing so loud. His character was such a blast. You never know what you’re getting with Beast but that’s the amazing thing about him. He just oozes big energy. He was making me blush and making me wish he was real. He destroyed me with his letter but then had me panting during the champagne scene. Beast is just superior.

At the end of the day big props to Bea Paige because Bea is such a wonderful author and her books are amazing. I can’t even begin to explain the love I have for her stories and her characters. This book, hands down is now my favorite book and you cannot convince me otherwise. One of my favorite scenes in this book was when Kate found Christy. I fell IN LOVE with Christy and the Masks back in their story. Every single time she is mentioned… I feel so many emotions. I’m just telling you right now, GO READ IT!!

That ending!! WOW. Never has an epilogue given me so many feels and had me laughing AND crying hysterically. All the more reason to make sure you read Bea’s Academy of Rejects, Academy of Stardom, and Dancer’s duet before reading Grim and Beast’s duet. You certainly don’t have to but in my opinion you’ll be the most satisfied if you do. And if you can throw in Beyond the Horizon and the Freed Brothers, even better! Basically, just go and read all of Bea’s books and you won’t be disappointed!

Now, onto Heads You Lose, the final book in Grim and Beast’s duet. Bea told us that she was going to bring the steam with this book and she was not lying!! The sizzling slow burn of book one gave way to the most incredible moments between these characters in book two. The romance, the spice, the banter— it was all written beautifully and passionately.

Grim and Beast are complex characters with many layers, a badass power couple being only one of them. True to his name, Beast is all things powerful and ruthless. A Beast in all things. However, there are many other sides to this character. There’s Beast the jokester, the friend, the loving son, and the hopeless romantic. Like her other half, Grim has many facets to her character as well. When Beast first comes back, she struggles with what it means to be Grim vs. being Kate, and it takes some time to realize that she can be both.

These characters will always hold a special place in my heart and I’m grateful that Bea gave us this story simply because we fell in love with two side characters from previous books. If you are new to this author go ahead and start with The Freed Brothers or Academy of Rejects and keep going until you get to this book. Once you start in this world you won’t be able to stop!

Screams. This is the 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐞𝐭 all die hard lovers of Bea Paige needed and 𝐖𝐀𝐌 𝐁𝐀𝐌 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐊 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐌𝐀'𝐌 you slayed this like the queen you are.

The second instalment of this duet and it's a rollercoaster of truama, love, hatred & badassary oh and darkness.

"𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭’𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧.𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬."

Grim & Beast's journey is pure love dosed in gasoline, making this 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐄 🔥 it's clear that the love is unbreakable and they adore the bones off eachother. There journey is never simple and honestly this love story and story actually completes my heart.

“𝐘𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭, 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐞. 𝐌𝐲 𝐟𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞,”

For me𝐈 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 seeing all the cross over characters from the Freed Brothers to Asia to Pen and it's beautiful how it's captured.

Ford Ford Ford - reading this brokeee my heart for him but damn does he steal your heart. I love we know the depth of his journey and all those questions too!

That ending 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐘𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐙𝐄𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐒. Say no more, the epilogue was PURE UTTER PERFECTION *CHEFS KISS*

I’m not gonna lie, the climax of this book was lame. If you’re gonna write a book about a gang, you better have some good action and a ton of drama in it and I feel like this book had way more fluff. The first book I think I liked more because I was anticipating all the drama to happening in this book but then because this book fell short, I was disappointed. However, I liked the main characters. Also, it was kind of crazy at the end that they just threw a bunch of characters at you without any information other than their names. Also, I forgot to mention this in my review of the first book but I’m pretty over the trope where the girl is a virgin and the guys has been with like everyone with a beating heart likeeeeeeee bruhhhh. You’re telling me that the daughter of the head of a gang has never even kissed a guy. That might be true but it feels like they’re trying to push the agenda that a woman with a high body count would be a slut, but a guy with a body count is just someone with experience. I probably ranked the first book higher than I actually felt because I just liked the gang member fighter vibe and was intrigued, but since the second book fell short, I am a little disappointed in the series.

Grim and Beast have a no-holds-barred, explosive, epic sort of love. They fight with each other, they fight FOR each other, and definitely love each other just as fiercely. It is also not an easy love and it takes them a while to get there but, when they do, buckle up loves, because it is a crazy, sexy, passionate ride!
I’ll try not to ruin anything from the first book but, when we meet back up with Grim and Beast in this book a bit of time has passed and Beast is a man on a mission! A mission to get his woman! And, that was definitely not an easy task. Not even close. Grim was a force to be reckoned with and she was not going to let ANYONE, even Beast, get past her defenses without a full-on battle. It was so worth all of the angst from Tales You Win to see where they end up and feel ALL the feelings by the end.
I just fell in love so hard with Grim & Beast and their devotion, or maybe worship? Of each other. I was kind of captivated by it! That’s really the most important thing I have to say!
I was looking at some of the quotes I highlighted and they had me in my feelings ALL OVER AGAIN!

Devoured this book! I love Beast! I loved being able to get a background story on him and how he evolved into the man he is now. Grim was also a delight for me because she was the definition of a strong woman and how she didn’t take crap from anyone or let anything get in her way!

I’ll be reading Bea’s backlist to get the rest of the stories from other characters mentioned in this duet!

Just when you wonder how could you love a character more entering stage left BEAST!!! This man!!! He gets shot by the love of his life and what does he do?? This man goes and finds her a merc army to protect her ❤️❤️❤️ Like....only Beast would say, 'Hey, the love of your life shoots you and she's clearly a bada55, but what could she possibly need?? Oh yeah, hired mercs to make her unstoppable!!!'.

For me Beast, Christy and Ford stole this show. I love Grim, and this story was always going to have her at the heart of it, but getting to see her interactions early on with everyone in her stories was just awesome! That being said, seeing the absolute heart from Beast in this story was what stole the show. Every woman needs a Beast in her life. He's this major tatted up teddy bear of a 'Daddy', lol! Ugh, I just can't put him into enough words my love of this character, but if he wasn't already stolen by Grim I'd claim him in a heartbeat!

Also, Christy.... her story was so dark, and I loved it, but getting to see her when she's younger displaying how much grace she handles her life with, with the joy she can still find was amazing! She offered that lightheartedness that only a young precocious character can offer to a dark story, and she without a doubt is how Grim kept her humanity intact.

This story was a 5 star read for me, but for someone unfamiliar with the back story of these characters, or who knew how each character's story ends in their own books the timeline of this book would have felt very confusing. I understand not wanting to giveaway the end of other stories, but it kinda made you feel like Grim and Beast's story was incomplete as far as the protagonist. The epilogue definitely helps with that, and omg....that last scene....just swoon!! Love, love, love it!!! He can be my Beast of Burden any day of the week, and twice on Sunday's ❤️

Prepare to be shooketh, shut out the world, get the tissues ready (& the bunnies if that’s your bag!) because this is one mind fck of a rollercoaster. Literally smiled hard from prologue to epilogue. With some of our faves are thrown in for shits and giggles, your cheeks will hurt from constantly grinning and your eyes will be puffy, happy tears & sad!
We have waited an entire pandemic for this story and boy does Bea deliver!!
The twists are not so twisty for us, having read the stories from this universe, but that doesn’t make it any less interesting or compelling.
We know the HEA was there but we didn’t know why or how they got it. As far as filling in the blanks, this was done to pure perfection. I am now going to sit back, breath and watch the Heads & Tales duet blow up!

Thank you to Bea for sending me an arc to binge read as part of her street team!

Heads You Lose is book two in the Grim and Beast Duet. A dark age gap romance.

Beast and Grim's story is one I've wanted since I first meet them reading Academy of Stardom (I read the series out of order in beginning and had to go back and start with Brothers Freed) and I couldn't love them more! Bea has an absolute gift of being able to hook you into her stories and have you utterly consumed by them and this one is no different.

Tales You Win gave us where they started, but this book gave us their story and Grim's rise to her throne as Queen of Tales. The complete raw, dark and sometimes twisted story. But Bea also perfectly tied their story timeline in with the other characters stories in this world. The glimpses of family moments are probably some of my favourite, they're wholesome and sweet. Showing their humanity in a world of darkness. The character developments as well, not only throughout this duet but for those that feature in their own series. And that epilogue, it's the ending their journey deserved!

If you haven't read the previous series in this world I highly recommend starting at the beginning as per the author note there are character crossovers and while this is Grim and Beasts story they all do overlap.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!!

Heads You Lose is book #2 in Grim and Beasts duet.

This book is absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!

We pick up where we left off in Tales You Win and then we go to 2 years after that night. Grim has taken her place as Queen, but she has never let her love go for her King. Beast comes back and won't stop until he proves himself and has his girl.

Oh my God, Bea Paige brought it with this one you guys!!!! This book is perfect! The banter is AMAZING, the spice is *chefs kiss*, the appearances of Bea's other characters we love so much made my heart so freaking happy, and the story will have you glued to the pages!!!

"I would do anything for my girl, my perfect princess, my vicious queen, my goddamn heart."
Freaking SWOON!!!!

This duet is everything and more!!! Go read it as soon as it releases, then go read all of Bea Paiges other books, and fall in love with them all!!!

Wow what an ending this was!!! This book had me all over the place, I felt like I was on a roller coaster ride. There was so many points that I enjoyed so much with this, I have no idea where to start. Except to say have some tissues ready. Be prepared to laugh, and be prepared to set aside enough time to read this in one setting.

You know I am a huge fan of Bea's and have to say that she is an amazing writer. She has a way of telling these stories that touch us and stay with us for awhile.

So with Heads You Lose you have the final book in the duet, and man oh man was this steamy. Grim and Beast are such a power couple that you just cannot help but be glued to what they were going to say or do next. Everything about this was top notch and shows just why Bea is such a great writer.

Overall, Yes read this series. Better yet, read any of Bea's book. Any one at all, I promise you will not be disappointed.

The last book for Grim and Beast is out. Finally. I absolutely adore these two. And my goodness this book had me all up in my feelings. It was such an emotional rollercoaster. Such an incredible love story for two people who truly believed they were never destined for it. Grim was such a fierce strong FMC. She was not a push over. She stood her ground and fought for what she believed in. Beast was oh my gosh just so drool worthy and delicious. He was everything you want in a male character. Legit everything. He just makes me smile thinking about him. Them together? Dynamite. I’m sad their series is over, but so dang happy we were able to read it and get to know them and their story. It was done justice, Bea Paige wrote this duet and just went above and beyond for it. Like…I’m speechless and just love these two so much.

This one was definitely better than the first one and I'm happy I read it, but It isn't very likely I will re-read this one. I've re-read others from this universe a couple times but this one doesn't really invite to read again. I love the characters and that's definitely why you might as well read this if they're similarly important to you, but the writing itself and especially Beast"s cursing and repeated words got old fast. I don't mind him talking like a sailor but at some point it just became vulgar without being entertaining anymore and that's where the writer kinda lost me.

It was fun to read about how some characters met, since it ties in characters from earlier books, and reading about them again was definitely fun.

I read this all day today. I needed to know what happened next and I got exactly what I wanted. There was a few twist and turns in this book and the mention of some characters who also have books so I’m going to need to check those out too. But honestly this duet is one of the best things I’ve read this year. It’s got everything you could want. A lot of touch her and d!e and violence but I was here for it and the spice in this book was scorching hot. I love grim and beast and I am so not prepared to say goodbye to them.

I have been patiently waiting for this book, Heads You Lose, after reading all about the underworld in Great Britain but needed to know about Grim and Beast’s background story to get their relationship just right. Bea Paige has just given me that. Their journey kind of upset me and got me emotional a little quite a few times but at the end, knowing what I know now, I certainly feel satiated and justified in adoring this couple. Their devotion to one another is unparalleled and seeing a heroine as strong and as fierce (if not more) as the hero made me feel hopeful for the romantic literary world.

Wow wow wow 😭😭 this book broke my heart and then fixed it back together again! Grim and Beast's story is possibly the most beautiful thing I've read! the fierce, raw overwhelming l9ve that is felt between them and for eachother is something that only a lucky few will ever experience in life.
Bea Paige had created an entire world built on love no matter how unusual or unconventional it may seem some. I am so glad I was told to read these because this duet really is a love story and one I'm glad I haven't missed.

Swoon and spice!!!

What is it about tattooed gangsters writing love letters that reduces me to a pile of mush? I love this book so much! It pays off on everything promised from the first book and then some! Seeing all the interactions with other characters makes me want to go read the rest of Beas books now too just so i can get more of Grim and Beast

This book delivered everything I wanted for these two characters. I absolutely loved them and their story. The spice, love and lust in this book is next level good. Can not wait to read the rest of this world. If you don't want any spoilers for the rest of the books in the same world, don't read the epilogue at the end of this book until after. Bea has a recommended reading order on her website that you don't have to follow, but it is there if you want it.

As always, Bea Paige didn’t disappoint! I was told and didn’t doubt it, but it took me longer to read b/c I wanted to drag it out. Love this whole world that she has created and can’t wait to read more within it!

A great second part to this duet. Brilliant storyline, The spice was spicing & I was hooked! Lovely to see how the books interlink, always a favourite part of mine when you get to hear about characters from other stories by the author. Overall, a great read!!

This was an epic bad ass love story between two people who grew up on the wrong side of the law and didn't believe they deserved love. The fought hard and loved even harder. Things didn't always go to plan but their love won out in the end.

Beast & Grim's story had all the emotional feels and I'm so glad Bea write this story because of her readers.
