Happy are those who dream. And are willing to pay the price to make them come true. Arvind, lovingly called Aru, comes to Mussoorie to work as a canteen boy. But he has bigger dreams. Beginning his life from scratch in the new city, he works relentlessly to grow. Brajesh Thakur, a successful businessman, leaves no stone unturned to find his father’s killer. What happens when their paths meet? Will Aru be able to get out of the murder investigation and chase his dreams? Born to Dream is an electrifying story of a youngster who decides to rewrite his destiny
The transition from Arvind Ingle to A.I. is the subject of the book. The book begins in Mussoorie during the autumnal season. Ajit Trivedi oversaw the MJK canteen at the Maharani Janki Kunwar College of Engineering. A youngster unexpectedly appeared at his house one day. Arvind was there. He began assisting him at a canteen. He put a lot of effort into it, but he has higher goals. One of the key figures in the story is Brijesh Thakur. He is a successful businessman, and he is trying every possible way to find his father’s killer. But explain how this applies to Aru. And how did Aru develop into an AI?
This narrative has numerous elements that make it incredibly intriguing and compelling, in addition to being an inspirational one that shows you the value of believing in and pursuing your goals. Although the novel includes well-written characters, the plot or storyline is undoubtedly what makes it unique and worthwhile to read.
The book is ideal for beginners because it is written in very simple language. It is concise and clear. I enjoyed how Arvind's life narrative is interwoven with the murder investigation. The numerous turns made it even more engrossing!
The blurb seemed interesting so I picked this book up. And this book turned out so good unexpectedly. I will briefly summarise my reviews here. The tagline of the book says, “The journey of Arvind AI.” That made me curious. The book started with the story of Arvind. The auditorium was excited for the speaker on the stage. AI. The book is about his journey from Arvind Ingle to A.I. The book started in autumn season in Mussoorie. In Maharani Janki Kunwar college of engineering, Ajit Trivedi was the owner of MJK canteen. One day a boy showed up at his door step. It was Arvind. He started working with him in a canteen. He worked hard there but he has bigger dreams. Brijesh Thakur is one of the important characters. He is a successful businessman and he is trying every possible way to find his father’s killer. But how this is relevant to Aru. And how did Aru became AI. Read the book to unfold further plot. I liked the book. The plot took few unexpected turns. That was interesting. I liked how author has focused to minor details. And I liked the business ideas and lessons that Trivedi gave to Aru while working in a canteen. That was quite impressive and we all can use in life. Author introduced some important characters step by step. That’s a wise move. And I liked suspense part definitely. I liked few chapters in the end. The startup one is good. And I liked “Shukla’s story” section. Writing style of the author shows that author had been thorough with the plot before penning it down. The narration style of the author is crisp and captivating. The language of the book is lucid so that everyone can pick it up. Overall good one. I enjoyed reading it.
" If there is a problem , sit with them and look at it together. If the problem is real, then you will find the solution . And if it's fabricated , then you will discover a loophole.". . " Born to Dream" The Journey of Arvind AI its an inspirational tale of a small town Boy Arvind. Who came to Mussoorie to achieve his dreams. He worked as a canteen boy in a famous Collage. But with the journey of his success plot takes many twist & turns that fully changed the frame of the story. Many other characters unexpectedly crossed Arvind's Path & Arvind's story takes the new turn. Other characters that are introduced in the novel makes the plot more gripping one. And suspense remains till the end. Along with the motivational story of a young man Author has presented the murder mystery so I love the narration of the Author. He maintained both the things well. . I love some incidents that Arvind faced that are motivational. Among them is the problem sloving method. How he wrote on a black board of a collage at night without mentioning his real name he only wrote AI. All students inculding the professor wants to know that who is this intelligent student AI who sloved the most difficult Math problem in just one day. And the second thing is Arvind's hunger for knowldge. Language is simple & easy. Title & cover page both are nice. Over all i really enjoyed it. I finished it in one setting. I would like to recommend it to all readers but specially to beginners. . Many incidents in our lives whether its Good or bad. Its shapes us. Mould us in a way that will create our future. So whatever life throws infront of us. Be brave to handle it with courage. And wrote our own inspirational story like Arvind did. . Rating ~ 4/5
A fiction story of an inspirational journey of Arvind aka Aru, who arrives in Mussoorie to work in a canteen. Arvind has big dreams and higher pursuits, he doesn’t shy away from working hard and taking steps towards realising them. There is a parallel story of Brajesh Thakur, it’s intersting how both the stories converge. The book takes a turn when Arvind gets involved in a murder investigation followed by his journey forward with this sudden twist.
The storyline is captivating and holds the characters well. Mystery unfolds itself with every twist and turn that follows, making the book quite intriguing. Both the characters are written well and their personalities are well rounded. Language of the book is easy and that makes narration comfortable and simple to follow.
Short chapters and crisp writing keeps the reader hooked till the end. The story is short and fast paced. I particularly liked the amalgamation of motivation and mystery. I did feel the end was rushed and barring a few grammatical mistakes, this can be a good book to start off reading.
Overall, it is a short read which can be read anywhere. You can definitely complete it in one sitting. The easy and lucid writing makes it a good book to pick up by beginners.
“Do you know about pod? These are groups of orcas’ whales. They hunt in a group, more active than lions.”
The book revolves around Arvind, lovingly called Aru, who comes to Mussoorie to work as a canteen boy. But he has bigger dreams. Beginning his life from scratch in the new city, he works relentlessly to grow. Brajesh Thakur, a successful businessman, leaves no stone unturned to find his father’s killer. The book is written in a very easy to read language and perfect for beginners. Its short and crisp. I liked how the murder mystery is entangled with Arvind’s life story. All the twists made it even more gripping! Looking for a light refreshing read….? Go for it! 🙌🏻
Born to Dream is the story of Arvind Ingle a.k.a AI. This is the tale of how a boy coming from a rural background to Mussorie, working in a canteen becomes a successful and renowned personality.
This is not just an inspirational story that makes you see the beauty of believing and working for your dreams but it has other dimensions too which makes it very interesting and gripping. The book has well written characters but the USP is definitely the plot or the storyline which makes this book worth reading.
The writing style is simple yet engaging and the book is easy to understand as language used is simple and accessible. The book is easy to get into and read as the flow or pace of the story is just perfect. Definitely worth checking out!
This was a great read. Actually, when I received this book, I was in the middle of reading a book by a very old author, Saratchandra Chattopadhyay. I actually made up my mind that I was not going to like this. But to be very honest, I re-read this book twice.
In this book, we first meet Arvind, who is interested in pursuing a Masters in Psychology from a distance. He has a very sweet nature and he loves his mom a lot. He comes to Mussourie and starts working as a canteen boy. He works really hard. On the other hand, we see Brajesh Thakur, who is a very successful businessman. His father died in an accident, and he is hell-bent on proving that someone killed his father. He goes beyond all limits. When his path crosses with Arvind's, things take an interesting turn.
I call it interesting because the stories of Brajesh Thakur and Aravind start in parallel, but later on they merge. But amidst of all this, what happens to the dreams of Arvind? Will his hard work pay off, or will he give up in front of destiny?
Although the title of the story makes the ending pretty much predictable, there are many instances in the book which will make you want to read it.
Main character of this story is Arvind who started his career as a canteen boy and later became an entrepreneur . This book is motivational journey of how a canteen boy become a successful business man.
Second main character of this story is a business man Barjesh who is searching for the culprit of his father death .
Their are many characters in these story and every character are twin with each other in one murder case.
This book contains approximately every genre like crime thriller , motivational , self help , etc. Very lucent language is used in whole book every character's are well described.
A recommend this book to everyone who want to read something refresh in fiction.
Book : BORN TO DREAM: The journey of Arvind AI Author : Harshvardhan Rao
There's something about Harshvardhan Rao books, you just can't keep calm unless you finish his books. Is it because of beautiful writing style, or proper handling of emotions, Or Existing characters or something else, I don't know But I know that it sure is.
Born to dream is one of those books of my life that I never thought I'll like when I read the first few chapters But as I started to read the later part, I can't be able to put the book down. At first, I thought it'll be the same book with the common plot of a young boy's life story of how he becomes a billionaire from a poor life. But then I read it thoroughly and realize that Arvind's story isn't some ordinary poor boy's. His determined nature was way different than the other boys of his age. Is a story of inspirational journey of Arvind, a small-town boy who travels to Mussoorie to pursue his dreams. But his life takes a turn when he becomes entangled in a murder investigation and meets Brijesh, a businessman on the hunt for his father's killer. However, through his hard work and dedication, he turns around his life and transforms himself into a billionaire. Starting off as a canteen boy, he became a business tycoon and was recognized as A.I. in the business world.
Do pick thus book up to explore more into. Talking about the structure of the book it's written in coherent language. Writing style lucid and narration is steady pace. Characters were developed very well who drives the plot smoothly. Storyline is very captivating with full of multilayer of emotions.
The writing style captivated me from the start, and I found myself eagerly turning pages. This story was almost like watching a movie. Every scene was running inside my mind. The author's writing skill was the obvious reason behind this.
Such an intriguing and unique storyline. It's a very short read.A story full of emotional ups and down. Eloborate writing and smooth transition between scenes. Book: Born To Dream Author: Harshvardhan Rao Genre: Motivational Fiction Pages: 181 Rating: 3/5
Born To Dream by author Harshvardhan Rao is a motivational fiction story of a boy named Arvind Ingle aka Aru. He is doing a master's in psychology and has come to Mussoorie to work as a canteen boy. Although he came from a small place, he aims high. There in Mussoorie, his path gets crossed with Brajesh Thakur, a successful businessman who is looking for his father's murderer; Ranjeet Singhania, owner of the Singhania industry a big name in the carpet business; Shukla, who works for Ranjit and, Pandit, a friend of Brajesh. His life takes twists and turns when their parts get crossed. To get to know more about it do give it a read.
I liked how the character of Arvind developed from starting of the book to the end and how he adopted himself as per his surroundings and still hasn't lost his identity and personality. The connection and the relationship between the characters in the book are shown gracefully and this is the thing that came out and touch me in this book. Also, the story gives a good reality check of how some public figures can be completely different and preachy in front of others while they are not following the same in the real life.
But as there was no timeline given in the story like when the story was set, it was difficult to interpret what is going on in the surrounding in the story as well as the characters' actions accordingly. Also, the character development could have been a little better. And as the main protagonist of the story is doing a master's in psychology, it was difficult for me to understand and make sense of his mindset and actions as it seems that he is not in master's but a bachelor's degree.
But the author has perfectly blended a pinch of mythology in the book which came out as a savior for me and make it a good, short one-time read for me.
"Do you know about pod? These are groups of orcas’ whales. They hunt in a group, more active than lions" . . 🎯 "Born to Dream", authored by @harshvardhanrao is a story portraying protagonist Arvind's life. Arvind's ideals are as deep rooted as his passion, as his love for Aai is, and Born to Dream is his success story, exactly how he becomes an 'AI'. Basically, the story starts with, Arvind a.k.a. Aru beginning his career as a tea-serving bellboy in a cafeteria. His will to excel in life has brought him closer to computational work of machine learning and artificial intelligence. He stands where he was previously insulted because of his unwavering passion and desire to study. Besides Arvind, the story also revolves around the life of Brajesh Thakur, a prosperous businessman, who is on the lookout of murderer of his father.
📌 Why is Arvind called as 'Arvind AI'? 📌 Will Brajesh be able to find the culprit? 📌 How is Arvind related to Brajesh? 📌 Can Arvind fight all the odds? 📌 Will he be able to achieve his dreams? . 🎯 Speaking about the cover of the book, the cover is quite unique and pretty enough to catch hold of readers attention, while the title is truly apt, suitable for the cover page and can actually say a lot about the storyline. . 🎯 Well, moving on to the actual storyline, Author has done some commendable job in depicting a story with such great, valuable moral lesson. Also, liked how Author has included twists and turns, to keep reader's engaged until the last page. Further, the protagonist's dedication, his hunger to get successful is all defined so well. Besides, even the characters included in the storyline, developed the overall plot. Also, the language used was quite simple, lucid enough and understandable, whereas the pace of the story was good. . 🎯 Overall, a good plot, with absolutely brilliant narrative style. Recommending it to everyone!

"Born to dream" is one of those books of my life that I never thought I'll like when I read the first few chapters. But as I started to read the later part, I can't be able to put the book down. At first, I thought it'll be the same book with the common plot of a young boy's life story of how he becomes a billionaire from a poor life. But then I read it thoroughly and realize that Arvind's story isn't some ordinary poor boy's. His determined nature was way different than the other boys of his age.
Arvind, or should I call him Aru, started his journey in Mussoorie as a canteen boy. Though his condition required hard work, but that didn't dim the fire of his dream to do something big. Even I sometimes lose hope when I have to wait too long to have the result of my hard work. But Arvind didn't budge from his dream, not even a little bit. Till now I thought everything was going like a simple common people's story when the twist comes as Brajesh Thakur, a successful businessman takes his entry, is solving the mystery of his father's murder.
So what will happen when Arvind and Brajesh will face each other? Will Brajesh's successful business life will do any help in the journey of Arvind's becoming nothing to everything? Or fate has chosen something else for them?
The best thing for me about this story was that Arvind kept his mother's surname as his last name, so he could feel her presence with him forever. The unconditional love and respect he had for his mother made me teared up. There are very few people we find nowadays who have this level of attachment to their parents and Arvind already set my standards high by doing that.
Overall, I love the story, even though this type of story is not to my taste. I want to thank the writer Harshvardhan Rao who decided to pen down the journey of Arvind so that it can motivate people out there not to lose their dreams.
I picked up the book because I found the cover gorgeous and the title compelling. And it really stood upto my expectations. Set in Mussoorie, Maharani Janki Kunwar college, the story is about Arvind Ingle, fondly known as Aru. The story began with a motivational speech and it immediately reminded me of Sandeep Maheshwari, whom I'm a big fan of.
The plot has multiple layer, how Arvind began his journey from a canteen boy to an entrepreneur, how Arvind Ingle became A.I. There's a hidden mystery of who killed Brajesh's father Jagan Thakur. Who is the girl who looks out for Aru? So many questions and all the answers can be found right in the book.
Let me state that I was not expecting the climax or the twist. I won't be spoiling it, but who ever i thought of as a murderer during the story turned out to be absolutely wrong. And i love being proved wrong by mystery books, that's an additional charm of the book- The ability to surprise me.
Character wise, i loved Aru's character development- i loved how Aru is portrayed as a sweet, innocent, child who dotes on his mother and is the most obedient person in the crowd. I loved how hardworking he was, how eager he was to learn. I felt bad when his expectations hurt him because of his naviety. I loved the crime solving aspect of the story. I loved the mythological aspect and how selfless Aru acted at times. I loved the lessons and morals i got to learn along with Aru. The story also focused on corruption and the effects of a son's love and devotion towards his father.
The narration was smooth and the story flowed between pages. It took me hardly 3 sittings to finish the book. The language was super easy to understand. The story was engaging and kept me hooked until the end.
Overall, a light fiction filled with multiple subplots. An interesting read.

Born to Dream The Journey of AI by Harshvardhan Rao
initially i thought this book as non fiction as the title indicates, later found its a fiction book. Happy are those who dream and are willing to pay the price to make them true.
The story start in Auditorium , where massive crowd chanting the name AI AI. the first page remind me super 13 the story of Anand kumar movie which also start the same way, but wait this has diffrent angles and twist and turns.
Arvind called aru comes to Mussoorie to earn money he start job as canteen boy at Maharani Janaki Kunwar College of Engineering called MJK but he has bigger vision to achieve his dreams accomplish but dont know how.
He work thr his skin at the work, soon people recognise his dedication , his passion and knowledge there is intresting story start from here i m surprise to know that arvind is a psychology scholar
In another story the Businessman Brajesh Thakur father is get killed and he uses his all energy and money to find the killer.
both of there path meet and Arvind aka Aru helps out the murder investigation.
What i like in the book
the lessons share by Arvind aka Aru in between are valued one. everytime i thought that the character is going to be a killer but it doesnt storyline is rightly pace each character is develop nicely Twist turns keep the book engage to readers Pandit , Trivedi, Singhania are the characters i like most
How Arvind become AI ? How he become successful from Tea Canteen boy to Businessman ? Who is the killer in the story ? Did Arvind help Brajesh to find out ?
#qotd - One milestone which you have achieved that seemed impossible to you?
Arvind is no different. He doubted his abilities, was embarrassed for no mistake of his and yet he never gave up on the challenges he encountered, added zeal to his dreams.
This is the story of a naive village boy with a burning passion to achieve greater heights in life. Leaving his Aai , Aru reaches Mussoorie to work part time while pursuing his studies in distance mode. The people he met there, while working as a canteen boy in MJK college, guides him in shaping his future well besides giving him bitter experiences. His journey from a canteen boy to a successful billionaire entails many highs and lows, risks and foresight.
With a smooth beginning, this book did arouse some curiosity but all the scenes took a rollercoaster ride amidst the story. The thriller part in addition to Aru's story with mystery added some spark. Even though I was bored at times, mystery kept me going and I was indeed surprised with the suspense the author has ingested in it. The elements that added mystery were quite intriguing. The one thing which I liked the most is, the author, inspiring the readers to dream, no matter what our situations are. I very much admire him for instilling hope in his readers.
The naivety in the story is quite evident and Aru being foolish at one particular phase has disconcerted me. The story is zappy but still it can be better and moulded well.
This is that short, quick and comprehensive read which is good for beginners and also the book lovers who need a momentary read.
BOOK REVIEW BOOK - " Born to Dream " AUTHOR - " Harshavardhan Rao " GENRE - " Fiction "
Dreams is something which gives us hope. Not the subconscious ones but the ones which won't let us sleep. I think dreams are one thing which can anyone can aspire to reach irrespective of our social standing. Whether the society will let us or not is a different question. But are we willing to sacrifice and envision the larger picture?
This is the story of Arvind and his journey to become AI. The author take us travel through the steps of Aravind. Being a small town boy and naive, he started working in Mussorie in a canteen. He meets Ajit Trivedi who is the owner of the canteen in the premises of Maharani Janki Kunwar college of engineering. The lessons which the author conveys thought the working of the canteen is so beautiful and important.
Battling through life's many challenges, Arvind wants to prove himself who has belittled him but how?
The another character in the story is Brijiesh Thakur who wants to avenge the death of his father. He is a successful businessman.
But what is the connection between Brijesh and Aravind ?
There are several twists and turns in the book. There are several other characters who are introduced in the book as one proceeds further. It's a well researched book and has a special section for the reader too. Though fantasy is the language of the book, it will leave you motivated and satisfied.

He has bigger dreams and wanted to achieve something in life and make his goals achieved. Arvind or "Aru" life takes so many twist and turns but it feel like story starts from beginning when author introduced the character named " Brajesh Thakur " who is a successful businessman and runs a big company but is curious and wanted to know who killed his father and going everything to find the killer . The other characters are too in novel and the best part is they make plot more strong and perfect . The best part i like is the suspense remain till end . "When there is a will, there is a way." This book portrays this line very well and tells us how if a person with just sheer will power can change so many things. You can change your life and your destiny if you want to. This book gives you a push to do better for yourself and your loved ones and acheive new heights of success and happiness.
The story revolves around a boy named Arvind Ingle and how he came from a small town and started doing an odd job of a canteen boy and how through sheer will power and his abilities he became A.I. There are lot of ups and downs in his story but nevertheless what comes his way he always comes on top. Who is Arvind Ingle? What are his dreams? How he became A.I.? All the answers are in the book and you will surely like it. Grab your copy and give it a try.
I personally liked the story as it was a feel good story where it was depicted that if you want to do something in life you should take action for that and never give up in your life. The language is pretty lucid. The one thing which i didn't like was there were many spelling mistakes or some words were missing or doubled at some point in the book. I think book should be throughly edited and read before publishing. Apart that thing it was a good one. Kudos to the author.
The book revolves around Arvind, who comes to Mussoorie to work as a canteen boy. Arvind is studying for his master's in psychology from distance learning. Sweet loving and pure hearted Arvind started to discover the world and its many attributes of it. The story shows the will and determination of a man who not only worked harder to make his life comfortable but also never left his kindness in the process. However, the other protagonist is a successful businessman, Brijesh who was in utter grief of the death of his father who died accidently and Brijesh thinks it as a conspiracy. He desperately wanted to find the culprit who in his view killed his father. It isn't always easy to procure the dreams within given circumstances, and hence one has to remain determined to the motivation, in order to attain it. Will he achieve his dreams?
The book is of medium length, and you will hardly understand when you will be turning the last page of this gripping tale. Some stories leave an open space for readers, for them to imagine and relive the changes.
Born to dream: The journey of Arvind AI by Harshvardhan Rao is a fictional tale of the inspirational journey of Arvind Ingle. There is a saying "If you never dream, you will never know the endless possibilities of what you become". It perfectly summed up the journey and dreams of Arvind Ingle.
Will he achieve his dreams?
Two stories started running parallel and started slowly merging. The transaction was smooth and didn't hamper the story. I liked how the author has written Arvind's character and his progression in a new environment. The love he has for his Aai and many wisdom her which is helping and providing guidance through life. The best thing I liked about his character was his eagerness to learn things and get bogged by them.
The language is pretty lucid. The narration is fast-paced with small chapters and all books can be finished in one or two sittings. The story has many different layers. A motivational story laced with thriller drama is something new for me and I quite enjoyed it. It's a simple story with few twists and turns to keep the readers engaged.
Born to Dream is a book that revolves around the story of Arvind's journey. Arvind, who was fondly called Aru, was a small town boy who came to Mussoorie to work as a canteen boy. He works hard to get to where he wants to be.
He meets so many people on his way to a successful life where some become an inspiration to him while others are just passing clouds.
Initially Arvind gets bullied at the college where he works as a canteen boy,for his attempt to learn just like the other students in the college. But he never let them be a reason for him to give up his goal. He kept his identity hidden till his hard work had paid off and then revealed himself to the world.
The story takes a turn which involves a murder investigation of a business man. Arvind gets involved in this murder case somehow.
How will Arvind, a small-town guy, escape from this and get back to the reality of chasing his dreams?
The twists and turns make the story even more interesting. The narration is simple and the language is understandable.
However, I could find some spelling errors and typos which made it difficult to go with the flow. Editing could have been better.
Apart from this, the book was a good read and it was motivational enough on listening to the story of a boy who started from nothing to where he wanted to be.
For an individual to thrive for the career is indeed a difficult task and hailing from a small area makes it a real challenge. It isn't always easy to procure the dreams within given circumstances, and hence one has to remain determined to the motivation, in order to attain it. Arvind the protagonist had been subject to similar problems, he wanted to pursue Masters in Psychology and hence moved to Mussoorie, where to chase his dreams worked as a canteen boy. However, the other protagonist is a successful businessman, Brijiesh who was in utter grief of the death of his father who died accidently and Brijesh thinks it as a conspiracy. He desperately wanted to find the culprit who in his view killed his father. I really loved the way both the stories have been portrayed and the idea was indeed new to the genre. It was kept as a fast paced read in order to intrigue the readers and soak the uttermost level of concentration of one's consciousness. The crux is way better than my imagination and at first glance with the read, when you re-think, you find the real essence and subtle morals within, depicted with absolute greatness. I had a point to highlight that adding timeline to the events would have been a better idea as reading some book without actual relevancy of time span seems a little weird to me. Overall, it was a great reading experience and I loved the book.

Contemporary fiction is technically a kind of realistic fiction, and the term "contemporary" is used specifically to distinguish it from realistic fiction with a historical setting. Contemporary fiction is normally focused on giving people a window into some corner of everyday experience and showing them what it would be like to walk in someone else’s shoes. Some of the stories may be politically-motivated or designed to raise social awareness, while others exist purely for the purposes of entertainment.
“Born to dream” is a contemporary fiction written by Harshvardhan Rao. The book is a mix of two different stories but eventually they get intermingle. The first story is of Arvind who comes to Mussoorie to work as a canteen boy. The other one circles around Brajesh Thakur who wants to find the murderers of his father. In due course both Arvind and Brajesh crossed path giving a complete new angle to the story.
