As of this review I had not seen the movie. I knew that this was a jekyll and Hyde story and it kind of is, but with a twist.

Basically Charlie is a complete push over who is wronged even since a particularly bad break up with a cheating spouse. Ever since he keeps everything bottled up to a point where Hank is created. Also he gets mixed up with corrupt police and whatnot when he meets Irene. The action scenes are alright. Everything else good too.

Also this book isn't for the easily offended! If you're familiar with the movie you'll know why.
