Typhoon doesn't have a mate. It's not for lack of trying, he just hasn't found the right person yet. The problem he faces is that he is desperate to have a baby. It's all he can think about. He's willing to do just about anything to make it happen.
Natalie has always dreamt of going to college, of making something of her life before it's too late. The problem is that she's seriously cash-strapped. Her folks died four years ago, leaving her with debt and a little sister to raise. They're barely keeping their heads above water as it is.
Just as they're about to lose the roof over their heads, Natalie hears all about being a surrogate. Why not make some money while helping a nice couple? Using their last bit of cash, she puts up an ad in the classifieds. Everything is turned on its head when a tall, sexy man walks into the room. He wants her to carry his child and donate one of her eggs as well. That would make her the biological mother. He's promising to take care of all of her and her sister's needs and to pay her a truckload of money. He seems nice enough, and he'll be able to give this child everything. It'll be tough, but she can do it . . . or can she?

Dragon Typhoon is the sixth entertaining book in the Air Dragon series. The story revolves around shifters who meet the one and their lives are changed forever. But there are dramas along the way. That's when the fun begins.
While each book can be enjoyed as a standalone, it's best to read them in order to fully appreciate the rich paranormal elements and exciting themes they offer. The characters are fun and loving and dictated by their rules, but what they discover more than they ever imagined.
Typhoon is a single dragon and after all the matings and pregnancies, including the birth of twins - which he witnessed, he’s become more and more obsessed with starting a family of his own🙃 Typhoon, under the guise of business, makes regular trips to human soil and happens upon Nat, after she’s rejected from a surrogacy agency😢
Nat and Typhoon enter into a business agreement for the surrogacy of Typhoon’s baby, however, Typhoon still needs to tell her he’s a dragon🐉 Oh and they’re moving to the lair for the foreseeable future😳
A great story that was definitely unique and enjoyable❣️I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review❤️

He’s pretty sure that it will happen in good time. The problem he faces is that he is desperate to have a baby. It’s all he can think about. He’s seen his friends pair up and have whelps. Typhoon even witnessed the birth of twins. It was one of the most incredible experiences of his life. Now he wants a baby of his own. He’s willing to do just about anything to make it happen. Natalie has always dreamt of going to college, of making something of her life before it’s too late. She’s not getting any younger. The only problem is that she’s seriously cash-strapped. Her folks died four years ago, leaving her with debt and a little sister to raise. They’re barely keeping their heads above water as it is. What is she going to do? Her sister needs her to be a provider. Not just for right now, but also for the future as well. Just as they’re about to lose the roof over their heads, Natalie hears all about being a surrogate. Why not make some money while helping a nice couple bring a child into this world? It won’t even be hers. Not really. Using their last bit of cash, she puts up an ad in the classifieds. Everything is turned on its head when a tall, sexy man walks into the room. He wants her to carry his child. Not just that, he wants her to donate one of her eggs as well. That would make her the biological mother. He’s promising to take care of all of her and her sister’s needs and to pay her a truckload of money. Life-changing money. What choice does she have? He seems nice enough, and he’ll be able to give this child everything. It’ll be tough, but she can do it…or can she? No cheating! Contains mature themes/language.

Will she accept there can be more between them outside his overwhelming protective side …
I was much eager for this book, one which did seem to return to the basics of the series with a sort of loops. I remember Typhoon when he was to hold for the first time a new born whelp, he was described as entranced, mesmerized. Which explains why he decided to follow a parallel road to the usual designed before creating a family : meet, date, fall in love, make a baby. Instead, upon meeting Natalie, he knows he has found his surrogate mother. So their relationship begins by its end. Those two are two sweet lonely souls, Natalie has been doing her best to raise her much younger sister but raising a kid and paying off the huge amount of debts her father left her upon his death is too much a toll for her frail shoulders, her Night Shift job does not pay enough to keep them clothed, fed and housed. Typhoon wants a whelp to fill the hole he feels in his heart, to overcome his loneliness but he does not want to mate for the wrong thing, so he decides on a different course than his congeners. Baby first, lover later.
This is how they meet, from this stems the ups and downs of their relationship when feelings and chemistry enter the fray. A cute tale with heartache and a great gentle guy in a dragon’s body. 5 stars

I have been granted an advance copy by the author, here is my true and unbiased opinion.
A simply wonderful and somewhat different approach to this wonderful series Typhoon was happy for all of his brother Dragon Shifters that had found their human female mates and the subsequent young “Whelps” that had come along, it had made him very broody for a youngling of his own and he decided to do something about it. Natalie and her young sister had been struggling since she had been eighteen years old and her parents died and she was raising her young sister, it had been a struggle and things had not gotten even harder as the years passed so she had always been looking for any chance of improving their lives. Surrogacy had seemed a wonderful idea and Typhoon had gone about finding an agency and had then been stumped at the last moment, Natalie had attended the surrogacy agency and then had been turned down at the last step and had felt the ground drop from under her feet. She had then been approached by Typhoon who had explained that he had also been turned down by the agency as a prospective parent and hoped she might consider a private arrangement between them. The care that was taken by both parties and attention to detail was amazing, the private detective had looked into Natalie and this had brought to light her financial situation and the fact that she was raising her younger sister. When the agreement was reached both Natalie and Typhoon could feel that they had a natural attraction for each other and that grey as they waited to start the relevant treatment and should they have success he would be honest and explain that he was a Dragon shifter, that would be a surprise for the prospective mother of his whelp. I do not want to give too much away about the story but I have to say that this was written so beautifully and the interaction of the characters was simply wonderful and I know that like myself once you begin reading you will have to finish the book in one sitting to discover the outcome. I guarantee that you will be left waiting for the new series that will be coming out later this year. I do not want to spoil the plot so will say no more about the three of them, I assure you that you will enjoy every single moment of this book. I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read. I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
A Single Dragon Shifter desperate for a whelp of his own.
Two sisters living such hard lives. They lost their parents in an accident when Natalie was 18 yrs old and her little sister Taylor was 6 yrs old. Natalie quit college because she wasn't going to let her litter sister taken from her. She went to work at a hotel and no matter how much she worked she wasn't quite making it with all the bills left by her father. So much hardship but the sisters loved each other and got along quite well. But Natalie didn't like Taylor suffering in school. Then she ran into a friend while going to clean the room a friend was staying at. To Natalie's surprise she was pregnant but not from a regular relationship. Anna was a surrogate and suggested Natalie should try it to help with the financial situation. Unfortunately after applying for it at Little Miracles she didn't meet one requirement. Here comes Typhoon. He is a dragon shifter who has lost all his family and is feeling the call of wanting a baby. But he hasn't met anyone who interests him. After some research, he finds Little Miracles and visits them to see if he qualifies for a surrogacy. He can't let them know his true dragon status and where the lair is so he tries to find an alternative. Here is where he meets Natalie. Upon discussing things and circumstances changing for Taylor, Natalie decides to proceed with the surrogacy. But there is still an unknown for her since Typhoon hasn't told her she'll carry the baby 6 months and he or she is a dragon shifter. Feelings start changing but there are still challenges and Natalie is a stickler for following details. New place to live and a happy Taylor what more could Natalie want. Story line is great with Typhoon so happy with getting a baby and Natalie and Taylor getting a better life. There is a tragedy so sad. The ending is on track with things working out but not happy with how it was left in the book. Something dangerous was introduced at the end with no mention of continuing with a proper ending. Disappointed with ending but loved this book by Charlene Hartnady.
I received an ARC of this book and volunteering to leave an honest review.
Holy emotional roller coaster Batman but this book was intense with so much emotion. A lot of laughter and lots of tears!
Character breakdown;
Typhoon: I adored this dragon he was such a good man, funny, dirty and so loving. He was a broken soul searching for a family to love! He melted my heart for sure!
Natalie: I loved her sassiness, her willingness to do what she needed to do and smooth things over, I loved her back and forth with Typhoon and adored her relationship with her sister. She was a fun character to read about, I only wished she had not tried so desperately to keep breaking Typhoon. I won’t lie I really disliked her immensely after that.
This book hooked me from beginning to end, I was laughing from the first page and on edge for to the last. I seriously enjoyed the back and forth and the humor in this book. It took me by surprised but I couldn’t stop laughing and crying at different intervals. I seriously can’t wait for the fire dragon series! Give that to me please! 9.5/10 ⭐️ recommend. Bring tissues!
Typhoon want’s a baby but he’s not mated and doesn’t want to wait. So he goes to the human territory to find a surrogate. While visiting a Agency he over hears a young women being denied becoming a surrogate so he decides to talk to her she might be just what he needs. Natalie thought this would be the best way for her and her sister to get ahead and out of debt but she’s been denied because of her debt. Now this good looking guy wants to talk to her about becoming his surrogate but she still not sure. Until her sister is bullied at school. She needs to get her sister out of there so she agrees to do it thinking they will spend a year out of country. But a big surprise is coming. Typhoon is going to tell Natalie what he is and where they are going now that she’s carrying his baby. So enjoy another good read and see what happens for these two !!
Charlene Hartnady brings us a story that is hot, heartfelt, and real. This was a different take to the normal storylines that we typically see within this world. Typhoon and Natalie's relationship is purely a business arrangement. But with shifters you never know when you will meet your mate! Nat and Typhoon tread through some muddy waters and then must deal with a major situation.
This story deal with real situations that are very personal to some. I absolutely love how she writes and handles these situations with the care, compassion, and honor they deserve. My favorite part was Typhoon's reaction to one of the major situations at the end of the story. Definitely a story worth your time!
Love a happy ending, with Typhoon and Natalie, and Taylor of course, and now Daniel. Typhoon went through a lot to know that the feelings he had for Natalie was natural, his poor dragon was giving him so many signs, but was in denial of his feelings. Now that they are now mated and sticking around it's really good..but what's this about the underground Dragon going to the Fire Kingdom..oh boy trouble..but I guess it's going to be a while before we know what that is all about...always an honor to read your books Charlene..will miss these dragons but I know we will revisit soon..big fan as always and looking forward to the new series..Winzie19🤗💞.
Loved this book!!! It was perfect and exactly what I needed for this last book in the Air Dragons series!! I’m really really really going to miss these lovable characters, all of them! I loved Typhoon and Nat and Taylor!!! Their little family was everything! Typhoon was so sweet and loving and generous, and Nat was the best second mom and sister ever! They needed each other and deserved each other. I’m so glad Taylor was happier with them, too, and got a new best friend and family! I can’t wait to see what happens next with the cave dragons and the Fire kingdom! I love this series, this world, and these characters! I hope we get to see more of them all soon!

This book is an amazing story. Natalie is struggling to make ends meet supporting herself and her teenage sister. She decides that she is going to be a surrogate to help he financially. But the agency won't take her. That's when a stranger walks up and asks to hear his offer. Typhoon has always wanted a family so he decides to try to get one with the help of a surrogate. Natalie agrees to help him and that's when the lines start to blur. Great read that I highly recommend you will not be disappointed. Truthfully anything that Charlene writes is amazing!
This book made me uncomfortable. The whole premise and the subsequent plot were just not it. A baby is not a whim. It’s not something to make you less lonely. It’s not a thing you just buy - especially under false pretences. I think this was supposed to paint the hero as a softie who wants a kid to love - but no. It came off as self centred and disturbing in how it treated such a sensitive subject. He didn’t think it through that much - he just thought of himself and how he wants to raise a boy whom he can make into his only blood family - but he didn’t think of the implications of raising a child, especially one without a mother figure.
Wow! What an amazing story and so heartwarming! These characters will make you love them so hard! They’ve been through so much and keep going strong! Typhoon is a giant teddy bear with such a big heart and Natalie wants so much better for her sister and wants to do the right thing. This story will definitely pull at your heart! Very wonderfully written and touching! Absolutely loved it! This author definitely outdone herself with this one! Amazing! I am voluntarily leaving an honest review for this complimentary copy of this book
I loved this entire series, but this book might be my favorite. Typhoon isn't looking for a mate, he just wants a child. But how does a dragon shifter hire a surrogate? Natalie desperately needs money to help take care of her little sister Taylor. Typhoon and Natalie are very kind people looking for a business relationship. Will love get in the way of their plans? Typhoon and Natalie both need love, even though they don't realize it. Their story is full of angst, love and steamy scenes. I'm so sad this series has ended. It's wonderful!!
Dragon Typhoon: Air Dragons Series: Book 6 By Charlene Hartnady Kindle unlimited purchas The dragons are at it again. Typhoon wants a baby and he has decided to look for a surrogacy. Natalie has been taking care of younger sister ever since her parents died. Now she is having trouble making ends meet so she decides to try being a surrogate. But finding that she isn't able to be one, she leaves and runs into Typhoon. I love this series.. I recommend reading ALL the books in order.
I am enjoying reading about the dragons in this series. This is book six and each book is about one of the Dragons finding a mate. Typhoon is struggling because everyone around him is getting matted or having babies. He wants a mate and a family but there is not such luck. Well Typhoon has an idea and he fully plans to make it happen on his own. The female lead Natalie was okay. I know it’s good to be overly concerned and cautious but sometimes she was over the top irritating. Tay, the sister, was cool and fresh. Read On!
Really liked this book. Nat was such a strong and vulnerable h. She put aside her life to raise her sister. Such an amazing woman And Typhoon was a yummy, persistent, lost H. So lonely, he decided to find a solution instead of just feeling sorry for himself. Gotta love that. The way the plot unfurls was great. But I gave it only 4 stars because I didn’t like the ending. It happened too fast and just didn’t feel right. But a good read. I recommend it.
I don't know how typhoon can be the sweetest most wonderful Dragon, all he wants is a family (eyes fill up, lip wobble) and yet he's also super hot and alpha all the way. He definitely had sexy game!!
Absolutely amazing story line, so different from what we've seen before. Its filled with heartbreak and happiness. I truly wanted them to have their happy ending and i think it happened exactly how it was meant to.
Loved this book. The story line drew me in right away and it kept me interested throughout the book. It deals with real life scenarios, very well written and thought out. Several OMG moments, twists and turns I didn't see coming. This book is one of my absolute favorites in the whole dragon series. Can't wait to read the next book.
What a great book! I love this story so much it is so different. I was melting from the sweetnes. It has it all every emotion really a great job in a amazing book. New serie coming up soon I am so looking forward to it. I love my dragons. To be fair I don't think Charlene Hartnady can write something that I could hate ever!
I loved the different storyline in this the latest Air Dragons book. There were some very emotional parts with the surrogate pairing of Typhoon & Nat. What started as a business arrangement between them developed into much more. Nat’s sister Taylor was adorable after her tough start. An all round great read
Typhoon and Nat’s story was just the right balance between romance and drama. It was not the usual merry go round of denial and lack of trust. It unraveled naturally and came back together the same way. It was practical yet so steamy. The family dynamic was really good with Tay and Typhoon’s genuine affection for them both. One of my favorites!
This story hit me right in the feels! I don't want to say much! But it hit home for me . Spoilers and all .....but this was my FAVORITE! In the air dragons series. Desperation leads us to a lot of places and this story took a beautiful, heartfelt journey.
This is a very sweet romance. I really enjoyed it.
I was hoping to have my questions answered about the cave dwellers but looks like it will be leading into another book. Also I the 1st book to this series it talked about looking into fertility issues with female dragons and then nothing. What did they discover? Also anymore issues with the goblins?
Love this series and this story's meet-cute is so different from the others. Its nice to have one where you're not real sure what's gonna happen next. Can't wait for the next installment. Charlene Hartnady is one of the best story tellers I've run across. I hope she does a dozen more in this series.
Dragon Typhoon (Air Dragons Book 6) by Charlene Hartnady. Typhoon wants a baby but doesn’t have a mate so he goes the surrogate route. Natalie and her sister are orphans and totally broke. Being a surrogate for Typhoon answers all her problems except when they fall in love.
Hartnady’s dragon realm is so evolved that I haven’t read a book in this series for over a year and yet I picked up the story line imediately. Typhoon the male lead is so endearing yet strong and Nat is brave and strong. A perfect match!
