And apparently it’s someone Nico already knows, and he’s her friend?! But that isn’t the only hurdle the pair faces, as Nico is soon caught in an unknown magic user’s trap and whisked away! Who are these mysterious figures who are after Nico, and what do they want with her?

It was funny, everything that I expected but nothing more. We get to see more interesting characters which is pretty cool.

The series need a bit of time before it really reaches its highest points but I'm past this volume in anime so I know it gets real fun once we get to know the supporting cast a little better. The characters and their dynamics are the definite highlight for me, and surprisingly enough, i appreciate the episodic nature. Makes it easy to pick up on a whim, which i appreciate.

i could definitely do without the toilet humor, however...

This is really delicious i'm telling you. There's an appearance of new characters such as the Tengu guy (I forgot his name! Huhu!) and the witch one that turns into a cat (I forgot her name too, augh!) Anyway, Tengu has become an additional to the family, and I love them as a trio. Chaotic duo, when Tengu pairs up with Nico and cause trouble for Moi. It will definitely make you smile... and laugh!

I love just how Shinohara made Tengu as a guy to root for our main couple. The "hair flutter to make Moi's heart flutter" chapter is really funny!!

And that last chapter is so sweet I'm going to have a toothache. Moi and Nico—I'm totally pushing that ship! I can't wait to see them as an official couple (eek!) Seriously, this series has been nothing but great. I adore Moi so much, I want to keep him to myself.

I'm not usually the biggest Slice of Life guy, but this series has been really good so far. Very fun and wholesome. I don't know how long it'll last, but I'll keep reading it for however long it does.

→ The little explanations at the end are one of my favorite parts. They’re so random and charming and somehow make everything even funnier
→ This trio!!! And CAT NEMU!!! 🐈‍⬛ I am so attached already
→ Found family + magical shenanigans = exactly my weakness and this manga has my whole heart at this point
→ The amount of times a scene made me literally sit up straight because something unexpectedly funny or chaotic happened 😭
→ Moi-chan is still my fav, what does it say about me that I relate to an ogre
→ Loved mostly everything except… the Uron Mirage part
boring.
I know it was probably meant to be funny and different, but that was the only section where my attention started drifting a little

This series is becoming one of those rare things that is just endlessly fun to read. Every volume somehow gives me exactly what I want 🖤

The second volume of Witch Watch by Kenta Shinohara does a good job of advancing the story and the relationship between the main characters. A new character is introduced who enhances and challenges Moi and Nico's friendship. There is slow character development but I get the feeling that it will take some time for these characters to fully blossom. This volume does include the same fun and ridiculous tone throughout due to Nico's use of magic.

Volvemos a tener referencias a Kimetsu y adoro muchisimo 🤣

Por otra parte, me gustan los dos personajes nuevos, me intriga sobre todo "la gata". El chico me ha caído genial, pinta divertido.

We got a lot of slice of life things that happen with a new familar who is really sweet to her, I like their friendship. But I have a feeling this romance with Moi is going to be frustratingly long. I kind of wish too we had seen more of what the overall plot was, even just one of the chapters. The art is very cute, I like it a lot.

It reminds me of the magical girl anime from the 80s. Sally, Chappy, Bia, Lalabel, Lulù. Self-contained episodes with a underlying love story. Some scenes are funny. Beautiful characters and drawings. Moi is my idol. Will the prophecies come true? 🧐
