What can I say? I loved the action at the end but I had a difficult time getting there. Somewhere after the beginning I felt bored. I had to put the book down and pick it back up several times to finish it. I do look forward to the conclusion.

Now we have to wait for the next book in this dark, violent steamy romance story as we are now left with a cliffhanger that will leave you apprehensive of what will happen next. Will love win out in the end for Gravil and Naomi?
While I found some things annoying in the first book I still thought it was a good read overall. Unfortunately this book was not as good as the first. First of all it was too slow and most of the book consisted of the h feeling sorry for herself and her poor choices, yet she never took any actions to change things. The sex was gratuitous to point of being boring and honestly there wasn’t much progression to the storyline for most of this book. I honestly disliked the h in this book, all she did was whine, cry, and beg. She just acted so helpless and weak throughout the entire story. I was so tired of hearing about her “swollen nub,” baby in her belly, and a few other overly repeated descriptions that I almost DNF’d around the 60% mark. Her actions in this book were just too dumb; (spoiler alert), you are telling me you had enough sense to steal a car to go tell Gavril something, but the thought never occurred to you to do the same thing to escape, or at least attempt escape? And what’s with Jon? Even when she disclosed her “secret,” I still felt like I was missing part of their story.
I also don’t know why she kept acting like she was so uncertain of her fate after the baby was born. This was something she knew before she even got pregnant, which is why I couldn’t understand why she didn’t put up much fight in the first book. I literally thought that maybe she secretly had an implant or depo or something and that’s why she was so complacent; but nope! All in all not impressed with this book; I was bored throughout most of the book. It didn’t pick up until about the last 20%. Naomi was just not the strong heroine I thought she would be from the first book. I’ll read the next, but can’t say I’m eagerly waiting like I would be for most books

This is the second part of Gavril and Naomi’s story. You need to read Conquered Bride before reading this book. This starts right where Conquered Bride left off. Naomi is having a hard time with what she saw at the docks. She can’t believe the man who is her husband would do something like that. There is danger on the horizon for these two. There are some twist that I didn’t see coming. What happens when secrets are told? These two are becoming closer, but holding their feelings back. Neither wants to be hurt. Naomi is especially confused with her feelings for Gavril and what she saw him do. Gavril’s past keeps popping in his head and affects his feelings for Naomi. I am loving these two so much. This may have started out as fake, but it has changed for them both. Their connection is becoming stronger and oh my, the chemistry is hot. The ending was oh my gosh! I can’t wait to read Sinful Brode to see what happen with Gavril and Naomi.
I really don't feel like reading it till the end the first book got me hooked up until it's ending I thought there would be a better explanation... something which would defend his sin of watching those young innocent girl being raped by those monsters and he was one of those no wonder. I agree it's a dark reality and truth of world that it's a mafia book based on darkness but still a man involved in such reprehensible and horrendous crime how can he be man ? No he can't for me he's no man or not even villian for whom I'll be rooting hearing his past cliche story and I don't know how his so called background story melt down Noami ? I mean I expect something much more brave from her. How can she watched her husband who is thought to be actually a nice person exporting young girls and letting them rape by his men's. Wouldn't she actually thought what if he is one of those in past ? How it's normal for her ? Seeing a person whom she she can relate so much getting ripped of her dignity and life ? Instead of being Disgust from herself to expect some humanity from a monster and running away she went to him and ask for fuck ? I mean are these people even real and if yes they need to be in menat asslam seriously and people ranting this book 5 or 4.5 stars also. He's equal to those rapist Because he's the one who put those women there so how can he be have happy ending book or even so called love story?

The internal monologuing in this book was just too much. If it was halved, this and the third book could have been just one book.
And a lot of the unnecessary inner reflection was from Naomi. She really irritated me in this book. The constant back and forth with her thoughts made me hiss so many times.
Secondly, I’m guessing because she didn’t grow up in the world of organized crime, she doesn’t know the rules and stuff. I mean that has to be the reason for the number of times she puts her foot in it, whether it’s doing the wrong thing or keeping secret something she shouldn’t have kept secret. It’s just a rollercoaster of wrong decisions with her. Kudos to the author though for not giving her a sudden character change overnight because these same issues show up in the next book, and there she does seem to learn how to do better.
For me, this book was the worst in the series, and that’s because Anatoly dies here. His death seems a bit contrived though, because he should have had on a bulletproof vest for God’s sake. They were at war!!! And to die from a gunshot wound to the chest, that just seemed very sloppy for a second-in-command position in the Bratva.
Anyway, it was such a shocking and painful way to end the book, and I give the author props for that. I really liked him and was gutted by his death. Should have seen it coming though once Gavril ordered him not to die a couple of scenes earlier 😞

WoW! I thoroughly enjoyed this book about Gavril & Naomi. There is so much going on in this book, or I should say series. There are so many twist & turns, along with action, adventures, pain, sorrow, anxiousness, can't forget the hot sex & more sex, building of trust, happiness, friendships and relationships. We even experience the emotions of fear, hate anf finally love.
I'm looking forward to the next book. Naomi is trying to stay alive, but wants Gavril to call her by her given name, Naomi, and stop calling her, Sevta Orlov, her fake identity. Gavril is worried about bring the Krasnaya & Belaya Bratvas together under his power. The Krasnaya Bratva must not find out Sevta is dead and Naomi is not Sevta.
Since I knew this book was the second in the Belaya Bratva Series, I went and started with first book in the Series before I read this book. I'm so glad I did! It made the who Series come alive and make sense. Its hard when the books have cliffhanhers especially when the books/series are extremely good. But, as long as I don't have to wait to long to get to the book, I'm okay withit.
I received a free copy of this book for an honest review. I would recommend this book to anybody who enjoys Vigilant Justice, Kidnapping Crime Fiction and romance suspense books plus likes to be entertained. It'll be well worth your time to read this book!
I'm so loving Naomi and Gavril's story! This one started off a little slow with a few repetitive parts but once it got going it really took off. Naomi was her usual spitfire self. She seems to get herself into these predicaments without even trying. Gavril was a little hypocritical in this one. Getting mad at Naomi for doing the same things he's doing. I did like getting to see the softer side of Gavril when he was willing to show that to Naomi. I do think they made some strides towards figuring out a future together and I look forward to seeing how they figure all that out. All the excitement towards the end of the story really had me on my toes. What is going to happen now?!? This was a very entertaining and enjoyable read. I really like Naomi and Gavril together and I'm really looking forward to the next book because I needed to know what happens!! I would definitely recommend it!
3.5 or 4 stars. I felt that the gavril will be like I can't live without Naomi and then two sentences later, on the same freaking page, be like I need to get rid of her. Even thoughts of Killing her. It got old fast. I'm like make up your mind! Also this is pretty dark, the scene she witnesses down at the docks with the trafficking is awful. I read a lot of mafia books but I swear they characters are in the "good" mafia....drugs, arms, gambling, etc. ..because I don't read many books that has trafficking. So I don't know about gavril. But I feel like this could have been condensed into two books. Also, I don't know why Naomi didn't tell him about Jon being fbi after she told him about the assault. Girl, no wonder he is pissed at you. I don't know if she thought he would get rid of her or what but that was not explained well.

This is book two in the Belaya Bratva series, please be sure to read book one before reading this book. Gavril thought he had a way to win over the remaining members of the Krasnaya Bratva when he married Sveta Orlov, too bad his man kidnapped the wrong girl and now that he knows the truth he has to go to war against the Krasnaya Bratva. What he didn't realize is that Naomi has even more secrets than just not being Sveta Orlov and she should have told him everything when she had the chance. This series is awesome so far and I'm looking forward to reading book three, Sinful Bride to find out how it all ends.
When Naomi goes to deliver some exciting new to Gavril, she witnesses something she never should have seen. It's something she isn't sure she can ever get over. With danger lurking Gavril thinks he is doing the best by sending Naomi away with his best guard, but he doesn't realize the danger she's in. More information is learned about Naomi's past and Gavril is furious when he learns it. Can they forgive each other and move on, or will the past catch up to them and destroy everything?
Such an entertaining read! Can't wait for the conclusion! I voluntarily reviewed a ARC
A fantastic read there is never a dull moment Naomi and Gavril have so much baggage between them it makes it difficult for either to love but the chemistry between them says differently. Both have so many secrets that can cause the other harm and the emotional trauma between them is off the charts. Her stalker has made an appearance and is a huge threat to her and to him and there is a war brewing between the Mafia's that he was trying to join together. We are left with a huge cliff hanger can't wait to read the final book.
This was book 2 and it had so much going on with Naomi being kidnapped and forced to marry the Pakhan, he figures out that she isn't who she said n she was but at this point they are attracted to each other, and then she ends up pregnant, but she has a stalker and at the end of book 2 a huge secret comes out that will have huge consequences for both of them.
This is the second book in the Belaya Bratva series, you need to read Conquered Bride first. Fast paced story that keeps you wanting more. Lots of action and adventure, danger and suspense. It does end on a cliffhanger, so looking forward to the next book to see where Gavril and Naomi's story goes. Received an advance copy from the author.
The story is good but I have to say that I’m a little bored. It’s so repetitive. She loves him and gives him everything, he also loves her but doesn’t want her to be his weakness, they have sex and he doesn’t know how to be both the “pakhan”and her husband. I’m starting book 3 because I need this to end
this was the same thing as the first book. same problems over and over and AGAIN left off on a cliffhanger. but i’m not reading the third book bc this was just horrible. not what i wanted when i read the sypnosis
This series definitely will keep you reading. Belaya Bratva with Gavril and Naomi is one that has s deep and dark but love is tangled with chemistry. A connection that change from enemy to lovers and so much more.
Stretched out in so many repetitive lines that it was easy to skip a lot especially the sex scenes. I was getting bored but I think it’s going to be more interesting and exciting in the next book. I hope.
Get through the will they won't they. Will he won't be and you're In for a good read. There is loads of action . More from Naomi this time. Read the first book though to get caught up.
Action, adventure, danger and suspense! Everything a good mafia book needs. The story ends with a cliffhanger so I am looking forward to see what is in store for Naomi and Gavril.
I got to page 102 and didn't think I could carry on reading! I was heartbroken for poor Naomi and could barely see through my tears, talk about emotional!
Fear distrust and lies rule the story. Humiliation and mistrust lead the main characters thru a twisted story. Where do they go.from here and what is next.
