Capitalist Manifesto: How Entrepreneurs Can Save Capitalism

Rate this book
An overarching message of Capitalist Manifesto is...
WE WERE WARNED
In 1965, Robert Kiyosaki left Hilo, Hawaii and reported to the US Merchant Marine Academy, at Kings Point, New York.
At the academy, Robert’s economics teacher, encouraged the class to read Marx’s Communist Manifesto, Hitler’s Mein Kompf, and Mao’s Little Book.
In 1972, Robert was a US Marine Corp pilot, flying in Vietnam, witnessing lessons learned about communism, at the academy, coming true in real life.
In 1973, returning to California, Robert and his troops were greeted by anti-war protestors, hippies of the Woodstock Generation. Marx’s Communist Manifesto was alive and well in America. Marx’s ideology was spreading through America via the education system.
In 2020, protestors are parents, protesting mandatory vaccines for their children, wearing of masks, and the teaching of Critical Race Theory, gender identity, and Post-Modernist Education... all Marxist in heritage.
WE WERE WARNED. Capitalist Manifesto is a book of warnings. For On capitalism Marx “The last capitalist we hang shall be the one who sold us the rope.” On education Lenin “Give us the child for eight years and it will be a Bolshevik forever.” On elections Stalin “It's not the people who vote that count…It's the people who count the votes.” On the Federal Reserve bank Lenin “The establishment of a central bank is 90% of communizing a nation.” On printing money, taxes and inflation Lenin “The way to crush the bourgeoise is to grind them between the millstones of taxation and inflation. Capitalist Manifesto is dedicated to our freedoms, especially the Freedom of Truth. Capitalist Manifesto is dedicated to seeking out the truth behind the NEA, IRS, and FED ― the National Education Association, the Internal Revenue Service, and the Federal Reserve Bank. In Capitalist Manifesto I offer alternatives that any person or family can put in motion. How can we counter communism taught in our schools? By teaching capitalism in our homes.

Some of the points are valid. However there are so many grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, and at times, half sentences repeating. I don’t think this was proof read at all before publishing. It makes it a battle to follow Robert’s train of thought when you get tangled in the poor execution.
Shame as Rich Dad Poor Dad is probably one of my most recommended and reread books.

Enlightening but scarier than any Stephen King novel

For someone who in January of 2024 revealed he was 1 BILLION dollars in debt to write another book about how we can save capitalism by teaching it in the home, is a bold move. Having briefly enjoyed Kiyosaki's previously well-known work Rich Dad, Poor Dad, I picked up the Capitalist Manifesto thinking if nothing else, it would entertain and enlighten. This book did neither. It is repetitive, contains more grammatical errors than I can even mention (which I also find hilarious given the circumstances), and as a small business owner, it simply doesn't adapt to how the future of America continues to change. Capitalist Theory needs to evolve to understand the limits of the free market and protect small businesses to create a healthy and robust economic system. Being 1 billion in debt and publically mistrusting the US dollar, I don't think I'd take financial advice from this guy any longer...

See the difference between capitalism and rivaling economic systems, and make the choice of how you want to live financially!

"Capitalist Manifesto" by Robert Kiyosaki is a no-holds-barred take on the current economic trends spreading throughout the world since the year 2020, where there is a noticeable shift from capitalist economic societies to others such as socialism. Mr. Kiyosaki, a staunch supporter of capitalism, lays out the many differences between the economic systems and how they impacted the world in the past and present, and offers insight in how the future of the economy will look in terms of people's personal financial wealth.

To be clear, this book is not written in complex economic or business jargon at all. Mr. Kiyosaki states in the beginning of this book that he wants to keep things simple for readers to more easily understand the subject of capitalism versus the other economic principles. Even better, he provides great quotes and historical evidence from all relevant economic spectra to emphasize the importance of being aware of the world changes, in order for readers to better anticipate upcoming events and protect their wealth. He also shares his personal experiences from his past and current observations to tie things together with his research.

As interesting as the book is to read, I would have liked to see less typos especially towards the end of the book. I noticed that the author's newer works like this one have misspellings and rushed sentences that can slightly mar the reading experience. Normally I am more tolerant about such issues in books however I am aware of other readers that will be much more critical to such things when they read books. I hope some day the author finds an editor to resolve these simple things in future, for the sake of proper presentation at the very least.

Aside from that, "Capitalist Manifesto" is a very direct book that is written to inform and warn people of the coming changes in the system of economy, and how people can still take advantage of the change and protect their personal finances. I advise people to read this as the contents will get you thinking about your financial future more than ever before. Just don't think too much about those strange typos!

Don't bother. Seriously. RDPD is my favorite book and I really wish this book was just as good but it just disappoints. Tedious to read and it's like he's having an extended Vietnam flashback for the first ~150 pages. Points are valid as other people say but have no real world practicality in my opinion. He repeats the same things over and over (and over) again. He didn't organize his thoughts enough to put them in book form. He claims the repetitions are intentional because humans learn through them but I don't believe it. The real value in this book could probably be condensed down to about 100 pages but he's really stretching it. I couldn't make it past page 200 and you wont either (nor should you). So don't bother. Robert, you can do better (and for the unlikely case you'll read this: you must).

I get why Mr. Kiyosaki does it, but my only critique of the book is how often he repeats himself. It’s definitely stuck with me, hearing over and over in my head, “the only way to combat communism taught in school, is to teach capitalism at home.”

This book is chock full of quotes from various fascists, socialists, communists, as well as capitalists. I find myself quoting the book quite often. It’s a very biased book, as Robert Kiyosaki is a devout capitalist, trying to build the case as to why you should be too.

I believe that his is a unique perspective, and I am very inspired by his story. I’m glad he took the time to write so many books.

I’d definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants to know more about the big three (capitalism, socialism, communism) economic philosophies.

Not my favorite book. It was promising in the beginning. Then the rest of it went downhill from there. There is potential in this book, but there was just so many sentences and ideas/stories that were repeated. It was hard to get through because I felt like the same things were being said and nothing of value was being added. This book needed more structure to it as well.

Thank you to NetGalley and Robert T. Kiyosaki for letting me listen to this book!

This book brings a bunch of interesting things to light. Financial education is so important yet it isn’t taught in schools. People are easily fooled into believing things that simply isn’t true. Unlike most of Robert Kiyosaki’s books, this book has a bunch of grammatical errors. That cost this read from receiving a five-star review.

I’m a fan of Rich Dad, but this is not his best work. The book gets very repetitive and doesn’t seem like it was formally edited for grammar or clarity. There are useful nuggets of content, but also rabbit holes and conspiracy theories. I got the impression that Kiyosaki asked an AI tool to “write a book about capitalism in the style of Rich Dad”.

An easy read with many insightful tips, but somehow, to me, his style of writing in this book sort of didn’t deliver a follow through in the topic discussed. There are a lot of back & forth in his writing. However, since this is such an easy read, I took it like I’m reading a thread on a platform like twitter with a limited space in character allowed.
