A Dark Cheerleading Academy Bully RH Romance

One week of hot, mind blowing passion was all it was supposed to be.

Well, until a freak accident has the Widows in desperate need of a new flyer.

I thought my wishes were coming true. I get to be on the national cheer team and see my guys again...

Maybe not.

I guess it's true what they say...be careful what you wish for.

I’m not sure what I did to piss them off but Lennox, Matio, Adonis and Colton, let me know the moment I set foot on school grounds, I’m not wanted here.

I thought we had the best week of our lives. I thought I meant something to them, but apparently not.

I’ve pissed them off somehow and now they are determined to see me leave.

But I’m here for a reason.

I came to live out my dream.

They won't defeat me.

While I’m cheering everyone else on...

The guys... Well I’ll be 'Knocking 'Em Down'.

I’m a Black Widow now, and I’m not afraid to show my venom.

Trigger warnings TBD

This is a dark, cheerleading academy bully, why choose romance with MM content. Be ready to have your panties soaked and heart broken.

This book was either a bad bet or a joke.

Kondom? Solidarity Academy? Not one but two Lennox’s and it’s never once clarified when we meet them both that no, you’re not imagining that, the reader is really just supposed to leap, pirouette and glide on pointe to the conclusion that one is Lennox (The Lion) SENIOR and one is Lennox JUNIOR (the poor little rich kid.) 💀💀💀

Wtf was this sht? Did the authors BUY these ratings?? Why does this novel have so many fake news stars?????

This is literally about a bunch of boys- not men- not young men- BOYS. Who can’t get their heads out of their own arses.

There are plot holes the size of the dinosaur killing meteorite. The FL is the most Mary Sue like character I have read in quite some time and as such, has absolute fuzz for brain for the single celled amoeba of a brain cell she DOES posses. The ML’s are judgmental, narcissistic, full of themselves and cry baby faultless, pr*cks.

None of this made sense. None of it.

The attraction everyone felt at the beginning? Sure. No biggie. That’s not a far stretch to believe in. But their “heartbreak” over her “betrayal” after knowing her for like, 3 days is a major creator liberty of a stretch (especially after what was so poorly written and described and done at the start of this novel/ the entire antithesis of what this story hinges on as a catalyst to everyone’s love/ hate). This is a mess. They ML’s all hold such a grudge they all just keep digging their own graves in and out of their school lives simply bc of her presence?? Woooow. That’s sad.

I kid you not- no one is the novel is in possession of a spine.

And don’t say the FL had grit and tenacity, the chick was clearly off her meds when she chose again and again towards the end of the novel to bite her tongue, ignore the issue and threat to her actual Life and keep “Rah! Rah! Rah-ing!”. Her excuses? Her mother. Her stubbornness. Her hero complex. And the school opportunity (this one is at least truly fair and reasonable).

Everything is poorly explained. Everything is poorly done and driven.

Lenox gets away scot-free every time he needs to man up and take some responsibility or any sort of progressive action.
Mateo is just an afterthought of a f*ckable, “virile”, male body to further the reverse harem and serve as foil to the bratty Lenox and the characterless FL.
“Adonis” was surely meant to be the RH’s popular “psycho”/ obsessed trope and fell so short it was sad.
And Colt was baby. That it. That’s all he was. He was the most sensitive, the most caring, the most delicate and the one with the MOST time with the FL and still, absolutely nothing is done in the entirety of the “meat” of the book to progress any sort of further bond between him and the FL.

In fact, none of them really had any actual right to keep feelings around for so long after such a brief stint of a fling at the start and then nothing- I’m not kidding- for the rest of the book aside from the single bedroom scene- NOTHING! HAPPENED!

That’s right. From the start of the book AAAAAALLLLLLLLL the way up to the end of the book between ANY of the main characters besides talking, none of them have any scenes with heat to them. Or real attraction. Or lust. The guys a little but the girl? Nothing. There were no secret kisses to help keep things simmering or interesting or naughty words and racey interactions to keep readers on edge and guessing.

The “bullying”? Weak sauce. Absolutely pitiable. Totally pathetic.

The cheering career they all love and have so much pride in? The Coach was a Charlie Brown adult for what good they were as a college professional to their athletes. Seriously, on what cheer squad, on what planet, would such disharmony fly with any true Tiger Mom coach?

Ugh. Do yourself a favor and save the headache reading this would cause. I stuck it out till the end, fighting tooth and nail to get there just to understand what all the hype was about for nothing.

Theirs no angst. No plot. No feels. No heat, spice or CONNECTION. This was a book display shelf filler of a purely decorative faux novel. Blank pages would have been less maddening to pull open and read then whatever tf this was.

Sorry. I just don’t get how this got any sort of high review.

Drowned in Misery

Ok, so I was not prepared for this book! I did not expect every character to be a cheerleader, so that was new. This book starts off great, sucking you right in. Rylee is a great character with a heart of gold. Meeting Mateo, Colt, Donny and Lennox lights something up for her and for once in a long while, she's happy! It was the best week of summer vacation ever.

When the boys abruptly leave, Rylee has no idea why and when she finds herself at the same school, let alone the same cheer team - she expects a much different reaction than what she got. With misunderstandings and misinterpretations, the bullying begins and soon Rylee is in way over her head. With jealous girlfriends literally trying to kill her and the guys conniving behind her back, Rylee is proving she is strong and will not back down easily.

I enjoyed this book. Their was some steamy romance in the beginning, but then none again with the FMC for the rest of the book. Their was continuous MM throughout. The bullying was pretty consistent also throughout the book and I found myself getting so worked up for Rylee all over nothing, essentially. I liked all of the characters, especially Colt. (I have a feeling he will be one to come around first) I need the guys to get their head out of their butts tho, like asap!

I loved that Rylee had Serenity and Alex! I'm not going to lie - there was times I definitely wanted Rylee and Alex to be a thing... lol. And oh my goodness - Missy is CRAZY! I cannot wait to see her demise.

"I have nothing left to lose. They wont break me. Cant break something that's already broken, right?"

*Overall 3.5/5
*Fast/Slow Burn
*Multiple first person POV
*MM
*Bully Romance *MMFMM
*Ends on cliffhanger

Cheerleading bullies

Been waiting to read this sine the girls announced they were writing this as I love a great bully romance. This is well done, our FMC Rylee has already been unlucky in love but has a big heart and has insta attraction to the guys who have the same reaction. They overhear something out of context and feel betrayed, teenage boys are just so foolish. When Rylee ends up on the cheer team at their college instead of talking to her they decide to bully her to get her to leave.
The crazy unwanted girlfriend Missi is definitely a piece of work who has me wanting to give her a good slapping. The sycophantic cheer Barbies are only slightly better. Thank god she has two friends at least, love Alex, such a sweetie.
The bullying here is quite bad and really hope Rylee makes them grovel plenty in the next book, assuming she ever forgives them!
Hope she’s okay after that cliffhanger, can’t wait for the next book.

Talk about a rush of emotions!

I was in for a roller coaster ride that I didn’t want to get off of. This book was intriguing, frustrating, interesting, and definitely has its twists. This book broke my heart. I don’t know if my heart can be put back together lol 😂. This book is everything and so much more! There are times I laughed out loud, cried, got angry.

I absolutely loved the FMC Rylee and she shines so brightly to me. Especially with all crap thrown her way. I love that she has a touch of sweetness with having a backbone. She is strong and vulnerable.

The guys? Each had their own complex stories. At the moment none of them are my favorite lol. But I don’t quite hate them. They have a lot of things to work through. They need to learn to communicate a little bit better. and I think only time will tell lol.

Spice? Sexy time was very much sexy! I enjoyed everything about this book. But I enjoyed the plot of the story too. This was one of the books that I couldn’t put down. I kept wanting to continue onto the next page.

Overall, I throughly enjoyed and would highly recommend. Be prepared for a brutal cliffhanger cause it definitely left me hanging lol. I was frustrated when it ended but at the same time I was excited to see what comes next! I can’t wait to see what Alisha and Amber do with the next one!

When these 2 ladies announced a co-write, I was all over it. Gimme. I knew this book was gonna be bully and I knew the fmc was gonna be a strong one and the guys were gonna be hot Af. What I didn’t know was how much emotion was gonna be wrung out throughout the course of this one book. 1 book and I’ve already laughed, cried, wanted to throat punch a guy or two, wanted to hug a character or two. And I've definitely felt the urge to kick all these guys in the jewels.

After a very passionate week with some hot AF guys in Florida at the hotel she works at, Rylee gets the surprise she never expected. The guys abruptly left, essentially blocking her from all communication. This really takes the miscommunication trope and turns it up a notch. Rylee gets an even bigger surprise. She was accepted into a very prestigious academy with an amazing cheer team. The very cheer team these guys are on. The guys are shocked and do everything in their power to make her leave. One girl on the squad and her little minions also join in on the fun. This book has turns and it definitely kept me up all night. I’m so ready for book 2.

Frustrated/Intriguing/Interesting/Twisted

Holy sh!t this book was something else. Honestly I was expecting something good since I love Alisha and Amber's books but WOW this was a masterpiece. A perfect way to break your heart in a twisted way. That you will hate but love at the same time. This was TOXIC because I know is not good for me but God did I love every single part of it... ¡YES I DID! Even the dark and twisted way everything play out... and I can't wait for more.

I love Rylee's character she is so strong, emotional, vulnerable, with a touch of sweet and she have a backbone and always has a come back that I love so much. She was amazing. She went through sooooo much that wow I want to see the guys on their knees I want to see them suffer and cry.

I love that she have Alex I really like his character it was so funny and he is always there for her. Also Ren she was a really good friend. I want to see more about them.

The guys Mateo, Colt, Lennox and Adonis what can I say about them.... that I hate them. But they are perfect because they were written so well that you will hate them. But at the same time like them not quite love them. But there is something there. They need to work a lot for me to love them. I hope they get there. They have complicated feelings they have to work a lot with them self to make things work or I hope so.

The plot was so interesting I couldn't stop reading I needed to know what was going to happen next and how Rylee was going to get out. I needed more and more and more. I was frustrated and mad all of the time. I was screaming to the characters and wanted to slap the sh!t out of them. But I love books that gets me mad and frustrated. I can't wait for more. Yes I can wait to have my heart broken and shattered again and again.

The sexy time wow... it was goooood. I need more of it.

That ending... ugh I'm frustrated but I need more and I need it now...

Alisha and Amber this book was amazing.. I can't wait for more.

I love anything Alisha writes and paring with with Amber! Bravo ladies!! This book has it all! Bullying, high emotions, hot guys, friends, lol moments and cheer! And Spice! You can’t forget that spice!

It’s starts out so sweet with the group and Rylee! You fall for Adonis, Lennox, Mateo and Colton right away! They are sweet and sweep Rylee off her feet! But then Ha! Tables turn when you least expect it! You’re left with a hole in your heart and your emotions are high!

Why do I torture myself like this?!?! I love me a good bully book, The build up is just amazing! I was constantly on edge and couldn’t put my kindle down! I had to know what was going to happen next! I want to scream at the cliffy!!!!! WTF! Warning!!!! It a huge cliff you jump off! I need the next book! This series is fire!

Alisha Williams and Amber Nicole, each known for their incredible “why choose” romances have come together to bring us a new why choose, bully romance series, set at Solidarity Academy, the elite college for athletes.

Rylee is the beautiful girl living with her mom in the basement of the hotel at which they both work. When four hot guys stay at the hotel on their vacation, none of them can ignore their attraction to Rylee. Likewise, Rylee finds herself drawn to Lennox, Colton, Mateo, and Adonis. After a steamy night together, the boys misinterpret a conversation they accidentally overhear, and cut their vacation short, leaving Rylee in the dust. Both the boys and Rylee think they will never see each other again, but that quickly falls to the wayside when Rylee gets accepted at Solidarity Academy to cheer with them for the Black Widows, the top cheerleading squad in the world. What Rylee finds, however, is that this squad shows anything but Solidarity. Wanting her gone, the boys, the mean girl, and her MUFFs will stop at nothing. Will Rylee fly and soar, or will she come crashing down?

Be prepared for a super spicy group scene, some MM, pierced 🍆🍆, a feisty and confident heroine, and a ton of brutal bullying and a pretty big cliffhanger. But be prepared for a really good book. So don’t wait! You’ve just found your next great read!

Holy crap this book was good. Not gonna get into specific details cause I don't wanna spoil. This had me going through every emotion imaginable. This is a why choose book so the mfc has 4 love interest. The minute they meet her they know she's the one for them. It felt like they become addicted to her. The authors did a good job in making her have a deep connection with all 4 guys. Tension between them and her was phenomenal. Theres also mm scenes and I was rooting for them since the beginning. The chemistry between them two alone was off the charts.

This is a bullying book so I knew what I was getting into but damn I wasn't expecting to like it this much.

They all have a bad past and going through stuff now which is why they start hating her and treated her the way they did. They think she betrayed them. Kylee is such a badass. Even when the guys and the barbie crew are doing their best to. Are her miserable she still stands up for herself (as much as she can) and doesn't let them tear her down. She's a very strong person.

The authors did an amazing job pulling u in and keeping you hooked. It does end in a cliffhanger and I can't wait to read the next book.

When a chance of a lifetime appears but it collides with the 4 guys who disappeared on her after a funfilled week meana carnage is going to arise!

Holyguacamole introducing 4 droolworthy guys Lennox, Matio, Adonis and Colton. Let me tell you these guys immediately showcase charm, sexiness and alohahole traits!! Yes yes i am drooling 🥵

Adonis stole my heart. Colton makes my heartache. Matio hellooo broody one & Lennox holyheck a beautiful human. These guys will seriously steal your heart but be warned...

Rylee is basass and laced with sassiness and damn she has her walls and defenses built up high and for damngoodreasons. Holymotherofdarkness there are some brutal twists and turns that literally had my heart in my mouth and devouring the pages.

The ending literally left my heartracing. This kick-start to the series is a masterpiece.

Knock ‘em Down has delivered everything I’ve come to expect from both Amber Nicole and Alisha Williams. There’s spice, hot guys, heart wrenching emotions/revelations, laugh out loud moments, bullying, complex characters, amazing best friends, and more.
Rylee is an endearing FMC and I enjoyed her from the beginning. But she really shines when she holds firm against all the cr@p thrown at her from the whole cheer team. I loved the complexity of the guys, their fun, sexy sides they show at the beginning of the book, the damage they each have stuffed through their lives, and even their evil bully sides.
I can only hope that in the coming books these dummies all start to communicate a bit and we can get back to the steamy and fun bits. Be warned (though it shouldn’t be a surprise considering Amber and Alisha) the ending is going to have you tapping for more and ready to throw your device… In the best possible way.

Looking for Bring It On vibes with some spice? Add this one to your TBR 😏

Rating ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Spice 1/5 🌶, only 1 spicey scene but if I have to rate that scene it'd be 4/5🌶

Why choose ✔️
Multiple POV ✔️
Bully romance ✔️
Sports romance ✔️
Secret MM romance ✔️
Miscommunication trope ✔️

Synopsis -
Rylee just finished HS and has been working like crazy! Until she meets the guys; Lennox, Mateo, Adonis, and Colton. She finally let's loose and they have a wild time 😉
Rylee gets off work to go meet them but they've checked out early. And completely blocked her out for no reason. She's got no way to see them ever again.
Until she gets a cheerleading scholarship at their school. Will they tell her what happened? Will they pick up where they left off? 🤔

Read it to find out. 😉

Review -

I'd like to start out by saying I have never read a book with the miscommunication trope before. I was not a fan of that aspect. It seemed so simple, just speak your mind. But I know lots of readers eat that up!
I love a good bully romance, but the way this story lays out, it was almost completely bully and very little romance. What I love about bully romance is that there is just enough romance to soften the blow of the bullying. This story just didn't have enough for me personally, it was very very harsh for me. That being said, I hope SO MUCH that the guys are GROVELING severely in book 2! Rylee deserves that! Rylee is such a bad ass, she holds her own and always has a comeback to their nonstop bullying. On the other hand, the guys are all so angsty and whiney. It got really frustrating to read.

❗️Book 1 ends on a major cliffhanger and even though my rating wasn't high, I will be reading book 2! I gotta know what happens next ❗️

*I received this ARC in return for an honest review*

Such a great book from these Queens of cliffhangers. Rylee meets Mateo, Lennox, Colt and Donny while they are on vacation in the hotel she lives in. They spend their whole vacation together and then they just leave without saying goodbye. There’s a reason, but you’re gonna have to read the book to find that out. Rylee ends up going to the same college as them without even knowing it. Her Mom submitted a tape of her cheerleading and she gets in on a scholarship. The boys aren’t very nice to her and they’re Friends are even worse to her. She does meet Alex and Sienna who end up being her best friends. This book has all the feels. Please check the triggers but this us a definite must read

What happens when you have the best week of your life with total strangers and on their last day you find out they left without a word. A total misunderstanding has Colton, Lennox, Adonis and Mateo leaving Florida early irritated and hurt that rylee, the girl they thought was the one for them, had betrayed them and was going to blackmail Lennox for cash. But is what they overheard the whole story? Rylee is confused when she gets an acceptance letter to solidarity academy in California. The best school in the world for cheerleading. Unfortunately for her it also happens to be the school were the boys go to. And guess what? Theyre also on the team. Can she survive their pranks and live out her dreams? Read and find out! But be warned, this does get dark and leaves off on a cliffhanger.

Its been awhile since I've been so angry at a bunch of characters. Our poor Ry thought she finally found someone or someones' to make her happy, until they up and ditched her. Then by some crazy twist of fate are forced to face off at the same college. They put her through hell and for reasons she doesn't know. But Ry is strong and determined to pick herself up and keep going, never backing down. She is probably one of my top favorite FMC's . But that cliffy....has me allllll kinds of angry. I hope Ry gets the justice or revenge she deserves.

Yaallllll😩😩😩 I don’t know why I keep letting Alisha do this to me!! Every book of hers has sucked me in off the bat for me to just be heartbroken at the end because the next book isn’t out yet!!! I have never been one for cheer, but this book has me reconsidering! Adonis, Mateo, Lennox, and Colton all meet Rylee on a week away to Florida and they have a blast…until they hear a conversation and make assumptions (typical boys!!). This book is a classic enemies to lovers RH and I can’t wait for the rest of this series to be out to cure my broken heart!!

I absolutley loved this first book of Solidarity Academy. Amber Nichole had done it again, I love her books so much and this is even better written by Amber and Alisha. I loved the FMC in this she is a kickass Character that doesn't give up no matter what crap she gets put through by those boys. The boys though are complex characters that, need to thdo alot of grovelling for what they put her through and then some, I hope she shows them what complete asses they are in the next books. I absolutley enjoyed this read

Wow! Just wow, I read this in one day! There is so much drama and angst bent head is spinning. I love it when authors are not afraid to go all out. I’ve even glued to my kindle all day, excellent plot, fabulous characters. Love the side characters. I want Alex to be my bestie, he’s a true ride or die. Heed the warnings as this book is intense. I need a reread to make sense of what I’ve just read. Wow! One of my favourite reads this year.

This series is like bring it on meets mean girls. Dark themes and lots of triggers (alot that are barely touched on even in this book but you know as the characters build more past trauma will come out). The first meeting of these 5 was HOT HOT HOT 🔥 I loved that we didn't have to wait for the good stuff lol.

Rylee is a tough cookie. knock em down girl and watch the heads roll. I can't wait to see the groveling these boys need to do. 👌 this co-write was awesome

Wow, what a read. OMG, I could not put it down until I finished the last page and then I was needing more. This book moves along at a pace that is perfect for the flow of this story. The characters are so well written that you feel as though you know them and no matter what you cannot help but love them and you want to be there for them. This is a must read book that needs to be at the top of your TBR list, you will not be sorry that you did.

I loved how in the beginning of the book, you got a feel for all their emotions with one another. Being able to feel the emotions of this book set the pathway up for the rest of the book && LET ME TELL YOU.. it did not disappoint. The spice level of this book was... This book was everything I didn't know I needed. I don't want to spoil much because it is better going in. Here is what you need to know:
RH
Bully
Lots of angst
Yummy guys
Cheerleaders

The writing was wonderful and it flowed seamlessly. I never knew which authors I was reading like you do in some co-writes. The story-line was well developed and I couldn't stop reading, sneaking 2 minutes here and there until I could properly sit down and read. Definitely one of my top reads this year.

I’m a sucker for MM within the group and this book has it! I cannot wait to read more of their story! Rylee is an amazing FMC along with all the MMC. If you love bully romance this is the book for you!! I was sucked in front. The very beginning. I can't remember the last time I have been this angry at characters. The the toxic way Rylee was treated by almost EVERYONE in this book was aggravating... but in a good way as a reader.

This is definitely a must read and I can't wait for book 2!

This book had me feeling so many things and I am here for it. First Rylee, she is the perfect combination of vulnerable, but with a strong backbone who is determined not to let her bullies see her break. Alex, her accidental roommate and instant big brother. I just love how he automatically takes on that caregiver role and has her back but doesn't smother her. Then there's the guys. I can't decide whether I love them, feel bad for them, or hate them. Either way they evoked some strong emotions as I tore through this story and I loved that it made me feel so much. There are definitely some strong bully situations here, so readers be sure to read the trigger warnings and beware of the cliffhanger. The more brutal it is for me, the more I know I'm into it and this one really got me.

CAWPILE: 8.43
Spicy: 2/5
Contains: Cheerleading, MM scenes, Miscommunication Trope, Multi POV
TW: Bullying, Abduction

Knock ‘Em Down is the 1st in the Solidarity Academy series by Alisha Williams & Amber Nicole.
Characters – 8
Rylee is a complete badass. I love her sass, the fact she doesn’t take shit from anyone, and even when she got knocked down, she got right back up with her head held high. However, this wasn’t always her first response. Reading from her POV allowed us to hear her internal struggles and pep-talks to not let the bullies win. This made her character so relatable and realistic. For example, when she has to walk out of the locker room naked because Missi took her clothes while showering, she does so after her pep-talk and walks out and struts out. "I wasn’t gonna let her think she won anything. I’m not an easy person to break. And I know I look damn good naked. I’m not ashamed of my body.”
Colton is the absolute sweetest. One of the things that baffled me about Mateo was he always seemed more aggressive and held more dislike for Rylee. You would think Lennox would be the one leading that witch hunt. This just seemed more personal, and the only thing I can contribute it to is his love for Lennox. But it feels like an overreaction to me. Lennox is the Alpha of the group but it didn’t always feel that way. I hope his character is explored more in the coming books. Adonis (Donny) took me by surprise. You’ve got to love a cocky playboy who know he looks good but then totally forgets how to act around the one he likes.

There were a couple of times that I felt like the story was dragging and I just wanted to get back to another character or situation. But I really can’t say which moments you could or would want to cut. I liked them all and think they allowed the characters to flesh out more.

One plot hole was the coach. Now, I’ve never been on a sports team, but I feel like the coach really should have stepped in more when everyone was bullying Rylee.
Enjoyment – 9
I enjoyed this story from the very beginning. It’s very much Bring It On meets Zodiac Academy, and I was here for every second. I’m not a fan of the miscommunication trope, and there were a lot of parts that I just wanted to shake them and tell them to talk, but it didn’t feel forced. They reacted accordingly with being young adults.
Please be aware that there is A LOT of bullying and some even from the male MCs.
Man, that cliffhanger!!! I need the next one now!
