45 poems covering aspects of life.Some funny, some darker, and some in between. Many were written as a way to express an emotion that I could never show, in this politically correct world. Others are heartfelt messages to a special someone. Whatever you read in my words, from love and hope to fear and phobias, each poem was written from a place of truth.With an open heart I offer these words.

To help you through the day.

While life is hard and sometimes cruel.

There is always another way.

To live, to laugh, to find some joy.

While clouds hang overhead.

You’re not alone, naive or dumb.

We’ve all just been misled.

So read these words and understand

Others are just like you.

Darkness can often gather around.

But you can always make it through!

Packed with heartfelt sentiment, this is a collection of poems about all aspects of life, some are quirky and funny, some are sad and harder on the emotion, all come across as being written with the aim of being forthright and honest about what Jackie is concerned about as well as the things she enjoys, Christmas being one of them, as there is a whole section of Christmas poems.
The poems at pre straightforward in their structure and convey their message clearly without leaving much to the imagination. It is commendable that Jackie has committed her thoughts to paper in this way.
Well worth a read.

An amazing poetry book. I have a love for poetry and I have been reading and writing poems since I was a kid. I definitely recommend this book!!
