For the love of letters…

Experience has told Jenna Oakhurst that Happy Ever After may happen in all the best stories, but Happy For Now is the best one ought to expect in real life. Yet lately even that isn’t quite enough, so when a strange set of circumstances leads her to discover a mysterious letter in an abandoned storage unit, she takes the chance to embark on a journey into the unknown…just like the heroines from the storybooks.

Reaching out to the letter’s author, Henry Somners, changes Jenna’s world irrevocably and she starts to realize that the magic she believed in as a child might not be such a fanciful notion after all…

Linda Corbett, I blame you for my newfound desire to rehome a guinea pig!
Sorry, let me take a couple of steps back.
I absolutely ADORED this book. So much so that I read it in a day. That's not a huge feat for me, usually, but when it is this time of year and my day job takes every ounce of my energy, and reading is a joy, but a huge effort, too, I can take a lot longer to read, but I whizzed through this book, today.
Jenna's life is coasting. She is in a safe relationship, with a steady income and a roof over her head. Then her partner decides to jack his job in for a riskier alternative - buying storage containers and selling the contents in the hope of finding that priceless treasure. She helps him unload and sift through his first buy and finds a box of unlikely treasures, including a letter which leads her on a little adventure of her own.
Through this letter, she meets Henry, who is looking for something that belonged to him, which she realises they have in that storage container.
The story follows a shift in Jenna's own character as she realises where she is now is not where she wants to be.
She finds herself moving in with her sister Evie and partner, Kat, who live simply on a farm and run a guinea pig rescue centre that is facing the threat of closing.
I don't want to tell you more because there is so much to find as you peel back the layers of this story, from the effects of gambling to living with a disability and the trials and tribulations of love... obviously!
Such a heart-warming read that will leave you with that fuzzy feeling inside!
Many thanks to NetGalley and Harper Collins, One More Chapter, for an ARC in exchange for an honest review,

Jenna is such a wonderful character and I liked her from the off. Coming across a box which contains letters, brings Henry into her life. Watching this pair getting to know each other better was both sweet and heart-warming.

I have to mention Jenna’s sister and her partner who run a guinea pig sanctuary. I absolutely loved this element of the story and little Snickers, one of the animals, stole a piece of my heart and I loved the parts which had him in as it certainly adds a bit of humour!

What I particularly loved about this book is the main character having a physical disability. I don’t think I have read a storyline that has a main character with one so it made me more aware about what books I am reading and wondering why there isn’t more out there or if there is, why are they not better known. It seems weird to say you enjoyed a novel where you see how someone deals with having a physical disability but it opened my eyes as to how people can react etc.

Love You From A-Z is a wonderfully charming read with the most loveliest cast of characters, well apart from a couple but you need to read this book to discover who those are for yourselves! It’s heart-warming and uplifting with a gentle romance at it’s heart. This is the author’s debut novel and have to say what a fantastic debut it is. Very much looking forward to future books.

There are times when a book’s heroine captures your heart – and Jenna certainly had a place in mine from the very beginning. Partner Matt – how on earth did those two get together in the first place? – has grabbed the redundancy money from his steady job and placed his trust in Parry’s money-making scheme of buying up storage units and selling their contents on eBay. That makes Jenna feel very uncomfortable – after the experiences of her childhood, she rather likes steadiness and stability, working in the financial sector where clear rules apply (although there are those who sometimes try to bend them).

So when Matt finds he can no longer pay the rent – or even worse, is unwilling to prioritise it, or her concerns – she decides enough is enough and moves out to live with her sister and partner at their guinea pig sanctuary. She has a lovely new friend in Henry – she met him after finding a letter in one of Matt’s consignments, restoring to him one of his treasured possessions – and his company keeps her going (and looks like it might have the potential to be something rather more) as she licks her personal wounds and joins the fight to save the sanctuary from the developers. But the course of love doesn’t flow smoothly, and it looks as if Henry might just be another of the men in Jenna’s life who have let her down.

I can honestly say that I loved everything about this book. Jenna herself is a wonderful character – feisty and funny, but vulnerable too for so many reasons. She lives with a significant disability – she’s frequently in pain, can’t walk quickly or stand for long, rough ground and steps are a no-no, and her balance sometimes leaves a lot to be desired. The way her disability is played into the story is just superb – never more of a big deal than her need for security after her childhood experiences or her disbelief that an attractive man might find her fanciable, never defining her but just part of her everyday reality. And it gives rise to some of the loveliest moments – Henry’s offer (and, I must say, he’s a wonderfully drawn character too) of the Jane Austen manoeuvre or the Charge of the Light Brigade had me in tears of sheer joy.

The conflict that stalls their nicely developing relationship is so well handled – and the race against time to put things right again had me on the edge of my seat, so hoping for that widescreen cinema climax. I adored and was totally invested in their developing romance, every awkward moment, all the moments of uncertainty – and the wonderfully witty exchanges between them both.

I must mention some of the supporting cast too, because the characterisation is just fantastic. I really liked her sister Evie, and the relationship between them – and Evie’s partner Kat is quite wonderful, with her absence of filter and foghorn voice. I enjoyed Jenna’s workplace relationships too – very real. And then, of course, there are the guinea pigs. Now I’ll admit I’ve never really seen their attraction – but by the end of this book I’d entirely fallen in love with Snickers and his friends, and (while I might still draw a line on adoption…) I’d certainly be first in line to buy a copy of their fundraising calendar. Snickers’ adventures after being returned to the wrong enclosure really made me laugh out loud – but I thought all the humour in this book was perfectly judged and quite beautifully done.

At the book’s end, there was an extract from the author’s next one – What Would Jane Austen Do? – and I’m already really looking forward to it (but what a place to end!). I very rarely add a brand new author to my “must read” list, but I’d urge everyone to keep an eye on Linda Corbett. This book was simply wonderful, and I’d recommend it without reservation – a perfect read.

This book was just what I needed right now: heart-warming, cosy read with loveable characters in all shapes and sizes. Jenna is someone who is organised and risk-averse, and that isn't a bad thing, but her current partner and situation keep putting her in precarious situations that she has little control over. She chose him because she thought they shared the same goals in life, and they kind of do but in different ways so it doesn't quite work.

Despite not linking these risky situations, one of them propels Jenna's life in a completely different, and very positive, direction because she meets Henry. Henry is confident, and adventurous, but also potentially secure and stable. Is Henry her fun for now, or her happily ever after?

From here we are whisked off on a mini-adventure as Jenna works out what she really wants for herself and is pushed outside of her comfort zone. This adventure includes magical forests, dawn champagne breakfasts in castle ruins, and furry friends in the form of her sister's guinea pig rescue.

I really enjoyed reading about Jenna and her conflicting feelings around security and stability, but also the want for romance and adventure. Jenna's worries come from a childhood that was less than stable and the fact that she has a disability and more often than not you can't throw caution to the wind, things have to be pre-planned. I appreciated the representation as someone who suffers from a chronic illness with chronic pain accompanying it, and knowing how much that influences so many decisions, sometimes keeping you stuck somewhere because change can be really scary on top of everything else.

Corbett has created a beautiful character in Jenna that showcases how full someone's life can be with a disability rather than being someone that needs looking after all the time. It really cheered me up after a rough time with my own condition recently.

Verdict: Heartwarming, cosy, with great disability representation. Definitely a good pick for comfort or to get you out of a reading slump.

This was a cute read and I think it was made more enjoyable by the guinea pigs! Animals tend to add a certain charm to stories and I think I’ve found this in a range of books. From hedgehogs to cats and dogs, I was never expecting guinea pigs to add to this list! I think this makes the book stand out from a typical romance read.

Jenna’s boyfriend is buying and selling second hand goods. Jenna stumbles upon a beautiful box in some of Matt’s piles of things to sell and discovers that it contains things belonging to someone called ‘Henry’. Not wanting to see them sold off, Jenna takes it upon herself to reunite Henry with his things. Except she doesn’t quite anticipate starting to develop feelings for this handsome stranger.

I enjoyed seeing Jenna’s friendship with Henry develop, especially as it becomes clear that her relationship with Matt really is dead in the water. The juxtaposition between the two men is obvious, particularly as Henry comes across as far more chivalrous. Over time, readers learn that Jenna is disabled and I appreciated this representation in Corbett’s book. Jenna does not let this define her but definitely values it when people around her recognise she needs some support. I thought this made Jenna more interesting and I liked seeing how Henry adapts their early dates to ensure Jenna’s comfort.

But, the stars of the show have to be the guinea pigs. Jenna’s sister runs a guinea pig sanctuary (who knew they were such a thing?!) and I loved reading about these adorable pets. Not having to run the risk of my allergies starting, I was entertained by the antics of Snickers in particular – especially when he has his run of the ladies! It was a sweet addition to the story and I could even see Corbett creating a side story that features more of these squeaky pals.

A novel that sees two strangers come together and eventually fall in love, this was a light-hearted read that shows Jenna determined to do the right thing when it comes to the discovered possessions. I thought the title was a bit abstract as readers don’t really discover its significance until the very end. However, it was a good read to sink in to and I enjoyed seeing Jenna’s happy ever after.

With thanks to One More Chapter, Harper Collins and NetGalley for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Jenna likes a nice orderly life. She works hard, never lets her disability get in the way & tries to be supportive of her friends & family. When her boyfriend decides he is giving up his job to launch a career in buying up storage units & auctioning off the contents she is not very happy & spending her weekend moving boxes is not helping. When she finds a box with a letter inside she decides that she should return it to its owner & along come photographer Henry. He shows her how being sensible should not mean there should be no magic. When Jenna decides she has had enough of her feckless boyfriend she stays with her sister who, with her partner, run a rehoming centre for guinea pigs. The centre is in danger due to a proposed development planned for the site. Can Henry's guinea pig calendar help to keep it going?

This book was a delight. I rarely read romances but I'm glad I picked this one up. It was good to have a main character with a disability & the guinea pigs (especially Snickers!) added a real splash of magic a lovely read altogether. Thanks to Netgalley & the publisher for letting me read & enjoy this book.

A gorgeous, happy read that fills you with joy. I love Jenna, and it’s wonderful to have the main character have a disability which really does add to the story. Jenna is a strong, independent woman who has had so many knock backs in her life. She’s been stuck in a safe job for the last thirteen years and is living with her hapless boyfriend who has just started a business with his friend, buying storage units and selling the contents. One day, Jenna finds an intriguing letter in a box, in one of the storage units and embarks on a quest to reunite some personal items with Henry, the items owner. As they finally meet and become friends, they join together with Jenna’s sister and her partner, to save the local guinea pig rescue centre threatened by closure. While battling to stop the planning application for new houses to be built on the site of the rescue centre, Henry and Jenna become closer, but can Jenna learn to trust someone and just what is stopping Henry from fully committing his time?
Heartwarming, sweet, romantic and with a frantic, page turning ending!

Love You From A-Z

Jenna doesn't believe in happily ever after. Growing up in a broken home and with an invisible disability, she learned from a young age to put practicality first. Her boyfriend is her polar opposite, jumping on the latest get-rich-quick bandwagons. When he buys the contents of a storage locker, with the intention to furn a quick profit, Jenna unearths a sentimental side of herself when she discovers some of the items in the locker are wanted by their owner.

After reuniting the owner with his possessions, Jenna finds there is much more to life than her pragmatic, financially stable goals.

Interwoven through the story is the story of a guinea pig rescue and their fight to save their home from development.

Overall, I found this to be a charming read. It follows the tried and true rom-com formula, of "girl meets boy, boy impresses girl, girl ditches unsatisfying partner, girl comes out of shell for new guy etc" And of course the happy ending.

The pacing felt a little stop-start at times, and I would have liked to have found out more about Little Paws at the end, but overall it was a pleasant read

This was a lovely easy chick lit read. Jenna must have the most boring job and boring relationship I’ve ever read about and the phrase “old before her time” springs to mind. However from her mundane life springs the opportunity to go further and do things she never dreamed possible. This book takes us through Jenna’s daily life and that of her sister Evie and her girlfriend Kat. The latter two run a Guinea pig sanctuary so there are fluffy animals thrown into the mix. The upshot is a gentle romp which will never light any fires, more likely to smoulder under the coals.

An absolutely charming debut novel which provides pure, gentle escapism. I enjoyed sharing Henry and Jenna's journey to finding love (including an dreamy dawn date at some ancient ruins) - the novel was full of warmth and humour and the representation of a disabled heroine was fresh and excellently done. Part of the novel is set around a guinea pig rescue which was absolutely adorable and the little piggies were a host of colourful characters in themselves. This book was a complete joy - I highly recommend it and will be on the look out for more of Linda's books.

A lovely tender romance with oodles of cuddly guinea pigs to love. With a fun premise, it was nice to see the strains in a relationship appear for something other than infidelity.
Jenna was easy to relate to and this story gives a snapshot into her life, her work, family, as well as dealing with chronic pain and clumsiness. As a fellow person who regularly stumbles, good representation of a disabled character and I really need her t-shirt..
It was an enjoyable read and ideal for fans of Jessica Redland

Another cosy, easy summer read which I devoured in 2 sittings. I love the main character, Jenna, who has a set way she thinks love should be but unfortunately her boyfriend, Matt, has a completely different outlook on everything. Once she meets Henry, this changes for the better.

The story is lovely, and so are the guinea pigs!! The settings for some of the outings during the book are amazing, I’m definitely googling the pub.

A quick, cosy summer red for anyone who believes in love.

This is such a heart-warming, charming story which will leave you feeling all cosy, hopeful and cheerful.

This book is a wonderful book, it’s incredibly easy to read and the perfect remedy if you have found yourself in a reading slump, I can guarantee this cheerful book with soon be drawing you out.

I really loved the simplicity of the story, in essence, this is all about drawing yourself out of a rut and being brave enough to set out of your comfort zone, I think we can all say we are guilty of that, can’t we? (I know I am) sticking with something because it’s safe and we’re comfortabe and tht Is how I felt Jenna was living. She wasn’t miserable as such, but she wasn’t living her best life, it’s a chance find that opens the doors for an adventure which will change her whole way of looking at her life.

I really really connected with Jenna, the author has created a wonderful character, she doesn’t allow her disability to take charge of her life and proves that no matter what difficulties you may face in life you can live it to the fullest if you are brave enough to venture forward.

On the surface, this book is a cutesy finding yourself and discovering that happily ever afters does happen type of story, but beneath that cheery exterior lies the heart of something far more real and emotional, this has a lot of emotion and heart threaded throughout, yes it’s a cute story of a woman who has finally realised that she isn’t quite as happy as she thought and that there is more that she wants, but there is a very clever nod to living with disability and gambling issues, and there are aspects of the book which so many people can relate to.

I loved the story, I was fully invested in Jenna’s life and seeing how her little adventure played out, it’s utterly heart-warming seeing her grow and seeing her courage and confidence grow she doesn’t so much on her journey and in the end result is a magical and thoughtful story of living life the very fullest.

I believe (though I could be wrong, I usually am) that this is Linda Corbett’s first published novel, how extraordinary!! This book is pure class and I look forward to reading her future books.

Linda Corbett’s Love You From A-Z is a terrific debut romantic tale that is an absolute joy to curl up with.

Jenna Oakhurst has resigned herself to the fact that relationships are simply not for her. Happy ever afters and sunset endings are all very well for books and films, but in real life, you’re lucky if you manage to find somebody to be happy with even for a weekend. Romance is off the table for Jenna and the time has come for her to admit that Prince Charming can only be found between the pages of a fairy tale and not in real life. But is Jenna being a tad too hasty writing off love?

When fate leads her to discover a mysterious letter in a storage unit, Jenna is immediately intrigued. The letter has awoken feelings deep within her she hasn’t had in a very long time, so she decides to embark on an adventure where she will locate the letter writer’s owner, Henry Somners. Jenna has absolutely nothing to lose – after all, the heroines in all her favourite books have thrown caution to the wind and taken a chance on their happiness, so why shouldn’t she?

Reaching out to Henry completely and utterly changes her life. Could Jenna finally find the happiness she had long given up on? Will she finally find a love that could last a lifetime? Or is she destined for even more heartache and disappointment?

Full of warmth and charm, Love You From A -Z is a first- rate debut that cannot fail to touch the heart and make you laugh out loud. A feel-good and uplifting tale about never giving up, taking chances and reaching for the stars, Love You From A-Z is a superb first novel full of characters you cannot help to take to your heart.

Linda Corbett is a wonderful new writer of commercial women’s fiction and I cannot wait to read what she writes next!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

DNFinf at 20% because this book just isn't for me. And forcing myself to finish it will only result in me being grumpy and rating it lower than it deserves, which isn't fair to the author

3 stars, for me, means "it wasn't for me, but would still recommend to someone looking for a book in this genre." Which is how I feel about this book. It's well written, the characters are engaging, and the story was shaping up to be interesting

But I just *can't* do "the main character is in a relationship but the boyfriend turns out to be a jerk because the plot calls for it" especially because it's always coupled with "the main character realizes this when she meets a man who's better suited to her." Jenna and Matt's relationship, we're told is practical, not romantic. Maybe I'm just too practical, because all Jenna's examples were romantic in their own sort of way, I'd love to have a boyfriend look out for me like that

Don't get me wrong, I do see the flaws in their relationship. But those aren't ultimately the reason Jenna and Matt are going to break up, I can already see that. They're going to break up because Jenna wants the more romantic relationship Henry can offer her (which, I'm not objecting to Jenna wanting more, I'm objecting to Jenna wanting more from Henry, which makes it cheating no matter how you dress it up)

All in all, the book just isn't for me. However, if you're looking for a sweet, Hallmark-esque romance, I'd recommend. I can already tell Jenna and Henry are going to be very soft and fun and there's a guinea pig rescue that plays in somehow so like...that's cool!

Thank you to NetGalley and HarperCollins UK for a free ebook copy. No review was required and all thoughts are my own

Love You From A-Z by Linda Corbett is a cute romance, perfect for Summer reading poolside or on vacation. Jenna Oakhurst craves stability and security , a consequence of her troubled childhood, so her boyfriend's latest money making scheme of bidding on the contents of abandoned storage units in order to sell the contents online makes her more than a little nervous, especially given some of his past poor decisions. She is trying to be supportive however, so goes along to help him sort through his latest purchases. There she discovers an unopened letter and decides to reach out to the author ,a man named Henry Sommers. As her friendship with Henry develops, Jenna starts to question her current relationship and what really matters most to her.
This sweet read may be very predictable, but I don't think anyone picks up a romance expecting too many surprises along the way. The characters are certainly believable, and even the secondary characters like Jenna's sister and her wife add colour to the story. Setting part of the book at a guinea pig rescue was a fun idea, and it added some very humorous moments to the book. Despite some will they/won't they moments along the way, the ending of the book is just as satisfying as you would hope. I also appreciated that Jenna had a mobility impairment that was incorporated into the story without being the focus of it, something that I have not seen very often in this genre before. The representation is important and it was beautifully handled, and I think it took my rating of the book up a star ,
I read and reviewed an ARC courtesy of NetGalley and the publisher, all opinions are my own.

Jenna is happy enough with her partner Matt but their differences become more and more apparent to the point where Jenna isn’t sure she’s still happy with him. His hair-brained plans are at odds with her ordered, well-planned world so when she discovers a letter to someone named Isla written by a Henry in an abandoned storage unit she is determined to locate the author and take a risk into a journey that feels very different to anything she has done before.

When Jenna and Matt split she decides to move in with her sister Evie and her partner Kat along with the many Guinea pigs they provide a rescue for. Jenna begins to experience the kind of happiness that she has been dreaming about but can she fully let go, especially when there is a threat of homelessness and of losing her heart to Henry?

Well this book was an absolute joy from beginning to end. Jenna is one extremely likeable character and the challenges she faces physically make her an absolute inspiration. She’s sweet, funny and so stuck in her ways that I was so happy for her as she took risks in her life and in love. Henry is the perfect hero and I loved his patience and understanding of Jenna despite his own past heartbreak.

The writing style is wonderful and it’s exactly the kind of story I like. I learnt such a lot about Guinea pigs too which I didn’t expect and the love and dedication they all share towards the little piggies is heartwarming.

Although I did shed a tear or two while reading this it ultimately made me feel great and the ending was absolutely perfect. I enjoyed this immensely and thoroughly recommend it, I fact I would love to know what happens next for Jenna!

Pleasant story with pedestrian-paced romance

There is not much dramatic conflict in this story. It reads more like a true-to-life, mundane series of events. A character with a hip problem/short leg decides to break from her platonic relationship to pursue one that is more adventurous.

I wish there were chapters from the male protagonist’s point-of-view, as I wondered what drew him from his typical adventurous relationship habits into pursuing the rather sedentary female protagonist.

The author does a wonderful job of creating a very realistic world for the protagonist at her place of work as well as at the farm helping her sister and her sister’s female partner care for rescued guinea pigs. The author also portrays the protagonist and her disability with a subtle deftness so that she has a plausible character arc involving her mindset and abilities.

There are references to gambling addictions, alcohol consumption, past abandonment issues, and a few kisses.

The author needs to learn to punctuate properly to avoid run-on sentences and comma splices. There are numerous British expressions, but American readers can figure out what they mean.

Overall, it’s a sweet romance.

Jenna's boyfriend Matt buys a storage unit at an auction and attempts to sell whatever he finds inside. Jenna finds a box containing a letter to the previous owner, which she feels she should try to return. She contacts the man who wrote the letter and romance ensues. I think I must have misunderstood the plot of this when I requested it, because it is not my typical genre and I expected the letter Jenna found to be something old that sent her on a mystery rather than a fairly recent letter that sent her into a new relationship, but oh well. My mistake. The book was decent though. One thing I liked was that Jenna had a minor disability but it felt like more of a side thing that just was part of her rather than who she was. I've read too many books lately that seem to be trying to be inclusive but come off just the opposite when they have to identify everyone by their ethnicity or sexual orientation or disability or whatever and it's like, great, you managed to fit 35 minorities in the book and make me feel like that's all that matters about that character. So progressive. Anyway, this didn't feel like that regarding Jenna's disability, so that was nice. 3 stars.

You can’t help but fall in love with Jenna. In a moment of clarity she has a “I’ve had all I can stand and I can’t stand no more” moment and packs up and leaves Matt, her selfish, useless, unemployed sloth of a partner and moves in with her sister. She lives with chronic pain and disability and yet it isn’t written as the whole of who she is, but as a part of who she is with no fanfare. Kudos to the author for that! Her character is beautifully written. Smart, driven, curious, willing to stand up for herself and never willing to let her health issues dominate her world and stop her from living her best life. She finds herself on a wonderful adventure. Could she find her happily ever after that she wasn’t sure existed in real life? Enjoy the truly lovely read to join her on her journey. You won’t be sorry. I really adored this beautifully written story. I look forward to her next book coming mid 2023.

'Love You From A-Z' by Linda Corbett is an enjoyable, enchanting, absorbing read from the beginning. As a hopeless romantic, this had me fantasising about what I would do if I found a note addressed to someone else from their previous partner! This book has all my favourite things entwined together - handwritten letters, romance and an unpredictable conclusion.

The writing style makes this an easy-to-digest, fast-paced plot, with the added element of anticipation and excitement about what is coming next for the characters. The main characters are likeable and relatable, and although the concept of this plot has been done before, this is one of my favourites of this genre.

Highly recommended reading, perfect for summer '22. If you love a romantic, heartwarming read, this is definitely for you. 'Love You From A-Z' is available to buy now!

Thank you Rachel's Random Resources, NetGalley and Harper Collins, One More Chapter for a gifted copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

This book gets a big thumbs up. It's quirky, it's warm, it's romantic and it's life affirming.

Jenna used to believe in happy ever afters, but a chaotic childhood caused her to abandon those feelings, and to focus on stability and safety instead.

But finding a letter one day, is to change everything. Tracing its writer, Jenna meets with him to try to reunite him with his belongings. And so begins a grand adventure. And suddenly it seems like there just might be a happy ever after for Jenna, after all.

With bumps along the way, mad dashes to a train station, and a campaign to save her sister's guinea pig rescue centre, there is plenty of action. And I really loved Jenna as a character. Not defined by her disability, I thought she was a worthy advocate for those who deal with ignorance and accessibility issues. The moment in the pub car park is my stand out moment, it reduced me to tears. And for me, was the true definition of romance.

The best way to describe this book is cute.

It's the famous trope of girl has boyfriend, meets another man and realises just what a douche her current partner is.

What happens after is friendship blossoming into something quite adorable.

Is Love You from A-Z something completely new?

No it isn't.

Does the predictability take away from the impact of the story?

Again, that's a big no.

Linda has written a story that for me, ticks all the boxes.

The storyline is simple yet enjoyable.

It has some quirky and entertaining characters. My favourite being Jenna's sister and of course the cameos by the adorable guinea pigs.

And Corbett had the ability to make me smile through my entire time of reading it.

Love You From A-Z is one of those novels that reads like a Hallmark movie. Feel-good, fun and flirty. A quick read with a highly satisfying ending.

A fairly standard romance with few surprises. Jenna left the wrong boyfriend very easily and with hardly a backward glance and the rest of the story shows her slowly falling for the right man, who she meets as the result of finding an old box of random keepsakes and a camera. There are the usual misunderstandings and wrong turns along the way as the friendship develops into more. The guinea pigs were cute, Jenna's disability is unusual but a welcome change to the usual depiction of a romantic heroine, and we got the expected ending, but the story flagged badly in the middle, and a sub plot about an expenses fiddle at work was dull. The A-Z of the title felt like a last minute add-on as the trips to places alphabetically only took off in the final pages. An OK read but it left no lasting impression and never touched my heartstrings

Absolutely delightful romantic comedy. It will leave you feeling all warm and tingly. The inclusion of Snickers and his entourage of Guinea pigs makes the book wonderful. It is a wistful story that is great for anyone to read with no explicit details like some Romantic novels include.

The mix of characters are fun and it is refreshing to have a main character that isn’t “perfect” as most books seem to insist on having. It is a well rounded cast that are extremely likeable with a feel good story line. I highly recommend this book as I don’t think you will want to set it down.

Thank you to One More Chapter, Harper Collins via NetGalley for the opportunity to read the ARC of this ebook. Outstanding.

A gentle hug of a book optimistic and charming just what I needed .I wouldn’t usually reach for romance novels but I had an email from the publicist suggesting that I might like it as I had reviewed similar books relatively recently
This book was defined for me by 2 elements ,firstly it has a heroine who is disabled by mobility issues .I loved this the disability did not lead the story as is almost often the case with disabled characters in books it was simply there quietly in the background ,she deals with her pain as may of us do and lives her life with the disability refusing to let it define her
The second thing that grabbed me was there were guineapigs in the story line as the family run a guineapig rescue .I was surprised that the book art didn’t seem to feature these furry potatoes .surely a missed marketing opportunity.
The book is an easy calm read and left me feeling relaxed and optimistic
I read an early copy on NetGalley Uk the book

This was so lovely, it reminded me of Jessica Redlands Hedgehog Hollow series, but this one had gorgeous Guinea pigs and lots of them!

Heartwarming, charming and everything good. I loved everything about this book, it was beautifully written, with lovable, realistic characters, and Guinea pigs. I adored Jenna for believing in finding her 'happy ever after' and I think that is something that so many of us can relate to.

With a feel good storyline Love You From A-Z is an absolutely delightful piece of romantic comedy. I'm definitely keeping my eyes peeled for more from Corbett.

Many thanks to Rachel's Random Resources for my tour spot.

This isn’t the type of book I usually read but I was in the mood for something a little lighter than my usual murders and gore! I absolutely loved it and was thoroughly entertained from start to finish. It’s one of those stories that leave you thinking “That was so nice!”. Just one thought – why wasn’t there a guinea pig on the cover??? It was thrilling for me when we got on to the guinea pig stuff because I absolutely love them, and if there’d been any hint of guinea pigs on the cover I would have requested it immediately. Anyway, a cosy, interesting and heartwarming read that was very well-written. Fab!
