Dark Fairy Tales #2

Pan: Tales From Neverland

Rate this book
I went looking for the boy who swore he’d never grow up. I returned with a man I couldn’t live without.

The infamous Captain Hook has spent his life scheming how he’ll finally take Peter down. It hardly matters to him that Peter is no longer a child, and he is no longer a younger man. Rather than embark on the dangerous journey alone, Hook enlists his daughter Ebony, and his first mate’s son, Alex to go to the human world and return with Peter Pan—dead or alive.

With the help of Tiger Lily, Tinkerbell, and even a host of randy lost boys. Ebony sets said for earth. Only once she arrives, Ebony finds that things aren’t always what they seem. This story finds a happily ever after for three different couples as they join together to save Neverland.

Tales from Neverland is a saucy retelling of Peter Pan and Treasure Island . This story is intended for adults, with strong language and explicit scenes.

I really enjoyed this fairy tale remake. This is definitely not for kids and so delightfully good. This author can draw you into her stories so deeply that the spelling & grammar errors are almost missed. They are there but the story is too good to be annoyed by them. I can't wait to read book 3.

This is a difficult story to write a review about without giving too much story away

It has 4 parts - Ebony and Peter, Tinkerbell and Puck, and Tiger Lilly and Alex... then back to Ebony and Peter to round out the tale

Ebony is the daughter of Long John Silver but raised to believe she was Captain Hook’s daughter. he sent her to Earth to find a grown up Peter Pan with the instructions to kill him. didn’t take into account that it could be love/lust at first sight though.

Tinkerbell was once kept as a, ahem, love slave to Puck in the fairy kingdom. She actually didn’t mind so much but withholding information caused their relationship to sour. Luckily, they still cared about each other enough to overcome their problems. Her story actually made me cry.

Princess Tiger Lilly and Alex Smeed (true child to Captain Hook) were also a match well done.

This was as well written as her other stories, a well known fairytale that doesn’t try to pretend the original story doesn’t exist. She just makes the story unique and a little bit crazy! It has a bit of darkness to it (holy moly a LOT of characters die in this story!!) and there is quite a bit of steamy sex.
Personally, I enjoyed the Oz book better but I still liked this one and would recommend it to anyone that enjoys fairytale retellings.
I received this story as an ARC and volunteered to read it and provide an honest review.

S.Cinder has done it again. Chasing Pan is terrific. Mostly Neverland and Peter Pan we're treated to Treasure Island and then comes Robin Goodfellow aka Puck, King Of the Fairies himself. There's Hot men, old gnarly pirates, a few handsome young men that haven't decided which team they are batting for yet, Swashbuckling swords play, death and dismemberment, treasure, ah list goes on.
Once again characters are extremely well done. They make you laugh or cry. They get under your skin. Then men make you bite your nails. The sex scenes aren't porno are dragged out till they get gross or boring.
Tinkerbell is there along with Tiger Lily and our new girl Ebony.
Come along on this adventure. You won't go wrong as you criss cross Neverland, fall in love several times over and find out what happened to Peter Pan. I guarantee a happy ending because I loved it.

Saving Neverland: Adult Dark Fairy Chasing (Pan: Tales from NeverlandTales) by S Cinders is a Paranormal, Action & Adventure, Erotic Romance. Ebony & Pan, Tiger Lily & Alex, Tinkerbell & Puck. Chasing Pan is a mix of Neverland and Treasure Island. This dark fairy tales is sure to captivate the readers and leave them begging for more. I really enjoyed it and can't wait for more! A well-written, very steamy read with no cliffhanger, no cheating, and an HEA.

What a terrible attempt at a retelling! I was super excited when I read the blurb but I was sorely disappointed after chapter 2. It had so much promise but it was just a big mess. The characters were badly developed, the plot sucked, the storyline was a giant cluster. And the random sex did nothing to help.

This is a Peter Pan retelling that is split into 4 parts. Part 1 Ebony and Peter, Part 2 Tinkerbell and Puck, Part 3 Alex and Tiger Lily, and Part 4 back to Ebony and Peter.
I first came across this book on Stuff Your E-reader a few months back. The blurb caught my attention, a story about Peter Pan and Captain Hooks's Daughter. I thought it would be an interesting twist to a retelling. I was not expecting all the other characters, as well as the few minor twists in the book. Some parts had me laughing. The plot of the story was okay, but when it came to Parts 2 and 3 of the stories, it seemed like the plot fell short and was basically focused on getting the characters together in steamy, hot sex scenes. Once the story reverted back to Ebony and Peter in part 4, the story got a little better.

Let’s get one thing straight: Pan by S. Cinders is NOT your bedtime story from childhood. Unless your idea of a goodnight kiss involves some very close encounters with mischievous fae, a steamy Neverland, and a cast that would make a love triangle look like child’s play.

One of my favorite things about this book is the six points of view, gradually introduced like a slow burn. It’s like peeling back layers of deliciously naughty chaos, and just when you think you’ve got a handle on things, BAM—another POV shows up to fan the flames. From Pan’s wild and reckless energy to each character’s unique (and often hilarious) perspective, it was a delightful ride. And let’s just say the variety kept things… spicy.

Chasing Pan Tales from Neverland (Dark Fairy Tales Book 2) by S. Cinders Chasing Pan: Tales from Neverland By:S. Cinders
Neverland... Like It's Never Been Seen & Experienced Before!
In "Chasing Pan: Tales from Neverland" you're definitely not in the atypical New York City or the fairytale Neverland you once read about; instead, S. Cinders transports you to a wonderfully wicked Neverland where the cast of characters come together in a race to defeat seemingly old enemies & deal with betrayals, ALL while finding their soulmates & defending their home. It's a sinfully Se*y ride across time, space, & imagination as many of the beloved characters show up in all new roles to take another journey aboard the infamous Flying Ship... "Second star to the right, & straight on till morning!!"
S. Cinders has an amazing talent for retelling & twisting fairytales. She's given Neverland & its tale new life & added sensuality, resulting in a tantalizing mix of eroticism, mystery, drama, romance, & even adult fighting (meaning death)... Dunn, Dunn, Dunn, Dunn!! I daresay there's a plethora of intriguing material that'll keep you reading & rereading "Chasing Pan: Tales from Neverland" for years to come. It's definitely a must have, One-Click addition for your library.
I was gifted an ARC of "Chasing Pan: Tales from Neverland" by S. Cinders via Booksprout; this is the 2nd book of this series I've read, & I love what she's doing with these fairytales. I thoroughly enjoyed this book; therefore, I'm gladly recommending it based upon its own merits... I'm definitely going to be be looking for MORE of this author's work in the future. All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given!
Until next time... Happy Reading!

I am such a whore for anything Peter Pan themed… honestly it is my favorite. I really loved this… the gang is all here (minus the Darlings) and a couple new additions which definitely added to the story.
This book follows 3 couples who are finding love while also on a mission to find Peter Pan and save Neverland.
The premise was amazing and I loved that we got to follow each couple through a different part of the adventure. It also made it way hotter. 🤍🌶️
Ebony and Peter were adorable, Tiger Lily and Alex had the best chemistry, and Tinkerbell and Puck were not only hilarious but also hot as hell.
I do wish it was a little longer so we could get to know that characters better.

✨“You are like holding fire. I know I am going to get burned, but I am fascinated by the flame.”✨

Ebony & Pan: Capitan Ebony Hook has been tasks by her father with finding Peter Pan and killing Pan or bring him back to Neverland. Peter has grown up and is no longer interested in playing in Neverland. Until he meets the beautiful Ebony. Hidden secrets come to light and he joins the crew of the Jolly Roger.

Tiger Lily & Alex: Captain Hook’s bastard, Alex was sent to protect Ebony on her mission, but Princess Tiger Lily has invaded his thoughts and haunts his dreams aboard the Jolly Roger.

Tinkerbell & Puck: Tinkerbell and Puck are lovers from another time, but can they work out their tangled pasts in time to save Neverland and rekindle the flame that never truly burned out?

S. Cinders did a jaw-dropping job with this re-telling of the Classic tale of Peter Pan.
The beloved characters of the old tale are brought to life in a whole new set of lights and we see a lot of different things in this book. The author does not forget that the classic actually exists and the tale is there but this is a twisted story that I really have the time of my life reading.
We follow not only Peter Pan and Ebony, but we also get to see two more couples and... did I say this is a twisted story? Yeah, it is.
The writing was fantastic. The plot was very entertaining and original, at least for me. The characters were well crafted and they kept their own line of thinking. I did not see a character step out of his or her shoes during the book and that was fantastic to see.
The end, the actual end of the book, made me laugh so hard and smile so big for a very long time.
I would definitively recommend this book to those that love re-tellings with twisted plots and sexy times.

This was an old child's tale with a great twist. It is a generation after the original Captain Hook and Long John Silver. We get to meet characters that you might not remember from the original motion pictures. What is great about this book that it is essentially three love stories in one. The first being of Peter and Ebony, then Alex and Tiger Lilly and finally of Tinkerbell and Puck. The story flows really great and there is a great amount of action on the decks as well as below... We also get to meet the Never Stone. This book was really great and there are a few places where you do feel bad for what the characters had to go through. There are also parts of the book that is hilarious! The author also gives us a bit more background as to the history of some of the characters such as Peter and Tinkerbell. I cannot say more with the risk of spoiling the discovery for other readers.

I enjoyed this book immensely and would highly recommend it to others!

Peter Pan is set in a modern New York and in Neverland and all the pathways of time and space between. It's not Disney or Barrie, and not for kids. S. Cinders retells the tale of four couples long years after John, Michael and Wendy have returned to their world. You'll recognize names Peter, Tinkerbell, Hook and Tiger Lily, but also find Ebony, Smeed's son, Long John Silver all coming together and even falling in lust and love.
It's time to defeat old enemies, search for treasure and settle scores in true pirate fashion. in an attempt to save Neverland from destruction. There's a lot of sex, and equal portions of swordplay - a journey on the Flying Ship. Although some characters die, most carry on to a lovely HEA.
The story was fun and entertaining, but seemed to lose itself in the abundance of sex scenes with each of the four couples. Still fun and a great part of the series.

This book has everything I look for in a paranormal romance . It's masterful how the world-building came out seamless, even though Cinders has actually made a hybrid of Wonderland, Faerie and our own planet, and moves her mortal and immortal characters believably through them all. Secondly, Cinders manages to make us care and empathize with every sort of major and minor character, from villain to hero to the smallest Lost Boy. The major players have tumbled against one another into being alive, not the caricatures of their original books. And in this fertile matrix, loves between them can grow into full bloom and even bear fruit that can save worlds in peril. Three major pairings develop fully and you can't help but cheer them on.

Don't pass up the chance to read Chasing Pan.

Did I jump into book 2 because Peter Pan is my lifelong crush? Yes. Did I have to put my kindle down several times to calm down when Peter Pan got spicy? Also yes. Am I still gonna obsess over a ginger with green tights? Probably, but now he’s a hot ginger who owns a night club 👀

So many different storylines surrounding the Neverland story and they were all so well done here! Hook/Pan/TigerLilly/the mermaids/the Jolly Roger/the treasure/the lost boys… *cough cough* I mean Men…and some new names (at least new to me) that just make everything so much more enthralling.

Phenomenal spice. Unlikely pairings that somehow couldn’t be anyone else. So many twists and “he said/she said” that would make anyone dizzy but Ebony and the rest took it all like pros! Absolutely recommend this series to anyone needing another hit of twisted fairytales 🥰

This is another entertaining interpretation from S. Cinders of two childhood classics we all know so well. This version however, is strictly for adults with erotic scenes and some light BDSM action – bondage, and spanking. This story is engaging and flows smoothly with some very interesting plot twists. There’s a lot of pirate action, some intrigue and humour. The women are fearless, sassy and take charge kind of gals. The men are alpha, dominant and possessive – all in good way. I really enjoyed this darker retelling and look forward to more work from this author.

I found this on Kindle Unlimited.

Well, it's smut. And for smut, it's actually pretty good. I liked the different couples, and the differences in the characters from the more well-known versions. They do have the usual smut problem of being unable to do more than one thing without having to stop and have sex. At least it was fun to read sex.

Really, the whole thing reads like fan-fic and as such, I wouldn't pay for this outside of KU. But the story line is new and interesting. For that it got an extra star.

Overall, it was amusing. I liked some of the other books in this series, and I wouldn't mind reading more from this author if it comes along. And is free.

This was such an easy read. I fell in love with the author's writing style. It's so descriptive and easily builds the world the characters live in. I do love Peter, Ebony, Tink, Puck, Alex, and Lily. It's easy to fall into the book and just keep reading, without regard for what time it is or other things you have to do. For me, if I can do that with a book; it's a good book.

This is book three of the Dark Fairy Tales. Three different dark fairy tales and lots of action and passion. This is like three different dark Fairy tales from a world that seems to combine Neverland and Pirates ahoy or Treasure Island. The women are strong and lovely and the men are alphas and somewhat ruthless but they have met their matches in their women. Get your copy and take their journey. Enjoy, I did.

S. Cinders transports you to the sinfully sexy world of Neverland. Featuring old beloved characters like Peter Pan who are given a wonderfully wicked twist added into the age old narrative of Captain Hook vs John Silver. Divided into three parts, there are three love stories of soulmates and defending Neverland: their home. Ebony and Peter make up the first story followed by Tinkerbell and Puck then last but not least Tiger Lilly and Alex.

Surprisingly Sweet

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book but I’m really glad I took a chance on it. Although it’s the second in the series, it’s a standalone. Pan , like the summary says, takes bits of the legend of Peter Pan and treasure island and meshes them together in a spicy adventure that ends with a HEA for all. It’s not quite instalove stories but fairly close. I really enjoyed each couple finding their way and getting over their differences and realizing they needed to work together for the end goal.

I was given this ARC for my honest review. I can not say this enough, S. Cinders has a way of magically using her words to create not only a great story line, but to give her characters (whether main or side) personalities and quirks that draw you in and keep you there to the end. This series is the best Adult Fairy Tale series I have read and can't wait for the next one. You won't be disappointed.

Chasing Pan is the third book in the Dark Fairy Tales series, and it is my favorite so far. Blending Peter Pan with some Treasure Island and a dash of Shakespeare's fairies, S Cinders found just the right recipe of romance and story, with one or two decent plot twists along the way. I can't wait to read the next book!

received this book as an ARC and agreed to voluntarily give an honest review. This is my second fairytale “remake” by this author and also the second excellent retell. There are many characters from the original book and many new and interesting characters. Unusual ancestry lineage revealed among the characters. Really, really enjoyed this book. Many, many hot sex scenes involving many couples (individually.) very good read.

a great retelling of a fairy tale. she has been travelling with her father. she is told to kill pan or bring him back to Neverland. he wants nothing to do with Neverland anymore so when she comes looking for him things will become difficult. will he go back? will she kill him? will she get him back with her? see where he will end up

I love it whan authors do a more adult version of a beloved fairytale from childhood. To have more sexy, hot version is so much fun to read. I love how this book really come out swinging form the first few pages and you are unable to put it down as you want to see who it all ends but also how it differs from the childhood fairytale you fell in love with first. This is a great version and really a fun read.

Damn that is one good book. The author really goes in depth on all the main characters. Their pasts and how they all interconnect is really great and entertaining. There is a lot of action but you should expect that with pirates. It also gets intensely hot and steamy throughout the book. I hope there will be a lot more of these stories because I am officially addicted.

I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of the book.
