Kairos #2
Legacy of Hades
The Greek Gods are dead, but their legacy remains.
Kairos, pirate lord of Histria, is concerned. A dungeon on his island turns out to be the last entrance to the Underworld, full of wealth and dangers; while beyond the sea the Poison King Mithridates builds up his forces. Enemies old and new prepare for a new war that will determine who shall replace the fallen Olympians.
And Kairos is determined to be on the winning side.

Fate System you didn’t did you
Long lengthy Void-style
That should explain everything If not will I don’t have to explain a crazy an actient Greek type world threw a litrpg filter. Has we enter book 2 has the story has even crazier fighters and realistic thought process in chacther dynamics. If you get all that read the story to get the full package.

Very entertaining book. while reading, i sometimes forget it's litrpg, the litrpg elements are only shown when a task is completed or when it's needed and I love that.
Aside from that, I enjoyed the use of greek gods and pantheons in the story, the author reallyyy did his research and it showed. This book definitely deserves more recognition.

I didn't like the story progression on this one and am unsure if I want to finish the series.
Some side plots aren't well described and seem to have been created just to satisfy some unknown (future) goal or just to give more experience/power to the MC. I don't know. This confusion bothers me.

From the title I assume our hero has to decent into Hades. Hope the author keeps up the same steam as book one. From his other series, he does manage to keep it.
I got a smirk when
I didn't enjoy this as much as I did book one ( I think the higher stakes and more powerful enemies took some of the fun out of it. Everything is more serious, and the protagonist has more to lose.
I will still pick up the sequel. If the author follows patterns his next book would be his last
3/5 Stars

This series reads like the continuation of Greek Myths if magic were real and history had gone magnificently differently. The Fate system gets better this book and the author starts to treat sexuality with more maturity. No actual sex scenes but quite a few relationship talks and some heavy petting. Main Character is still very overpowered most of the time. Story immersion from having the whole of our ancient western mythos to draw draw is what really sells it for me. As a big fan of Greek Myth I LOVED this book. 5 stars. Really no notable complaints( ..er well the author needs to add sex).

4.5 stars. This was long, but it kept my attention throughout, so by that standard it was a good book. There was a lot going on, but none of it seemed like padding and all contributed to the admittedly complex conflict. I don't find I have much to say about it other than that. I've already downloaded the next book, which is the real assessment.

so many genres in this series, fanstasy, litrpg and history and myths.
The book is very long but worth the read

More of book one.
This is just more of the same. If you liked book one, you will enjoy this book just as much.

A fun Greek mythology LitRPG. If you liked the first, then you'll like this one as well. Kairos is a noble MC who continues to lead his people as they prepare for all out war.

Great series
This is action packed and a great page turning novel. The plot and character progression are wonderful. Can't wait to continue!

Did Not Finish
April 10, 2025I didn’t like the protagonist, which meant the ever expanding story just fell flat for me.
