Concise, quick, well-written, well-researched, interesting overview. I liked the way it was formatted, using the mile markers of skyline drive as a chronology of sorts. I also enjoyed the intermixing of tidbits on relevant flora and fauna. Overall a great quick read before heading to Shenandoah National Park!
