I’ve been content with it just being us for a while, but it’s my last year of high school, and i’ve missed out on so much. Parties, girl friends and dating.
If i can’t have them in the way my heart wants, i may as well start having fun right? Wrong, because they don’t seem to like my new life choices.
But they’re not the same boys i grew up with. Sneaking out at night, disappearing for hours. Keeping secrets.
The closer i look, the more i’m starting to realize that the boys i thought i knew better than anyone else are hiding something from me. Something dark and sinister.
Someone runs our little town of black ridge, and i think i just might know who they are.
I knew going in it was gonna be OW and OM. But the FMC was still a virgin and didn’t actually do anything with other men. Two of her guys were with other women while they were in school with her even though they are in love with the FMC and she’s in love with them. I’m tired of the virgin FMC who hasn’t even kissed and the MMC who are man whores but get mad and jealous when the FMC talks to other men.
Not only that, the fact that the men decided to know pursue anything the whole time even thought everyone feels the same and they all know it, they decided without her and didn’t give her a choice.
And idk to the FMC hasn’t made any stupid choice but the men treat her like she has and like she’s a “brat”. Especially the older one who’s in his 20s and she just turned 18. He calls her a child but still wants to be with her?! Like I get he doesn’t mean it but eww like why even say that at all!
Also the twins in my opinion don’t have good reasons to have slept with other women why they were in love with the FMC. I know they’re aren’t together, so why couldn’t the FMC not have been a virgin too? She seems to be so in love that she doesn’t want to be with anybody but the harem so why couldn’t the twins be too? If I were her they’d be and ick and would have to grovel to be with me. I wouldn’t trust them. I don’t care that they’re at bad guys and aren’t nice. It’s not an excuse.
UPDATE: MM will be included in future books, so I won’t be continuing this series. It’s just not for me - I personally consider that cheating in RHs. I wish there had been a heads-up earlier because I wouldn’t have started it.
That said, despite the total lack of plot, I’m a sucker for slow-burn, so this book was like crack to me. The harem actually had jealous, possessive men (HUNTER & LINK), and they only had eyes for Raven - I devoured every second of that. The twins were a little hard to tell apart at times, but surprisingly, I liked every single guy, especially Link - which is rare for me in RHs. Usually there’s at least one dude I couldn’t care less about. The banter between them all was so good, too.
I adored everything about Raven… except the cam girl stuff. But otherwise? Obsessed. She didn’t chase the guys or beg for attention - she messed with them and made them come to her. Low-key manipulative, a little psycho, totally obsessed? Heart. Eye. Emojis.
I’m also SO happy Quinton is joining the harem. I live for when someone outside the original group gets added - it always shakes things up.
Oh, and I need the breeding kink hinted at to actually happen in future books.
The scene where Raven got off on Link’s bike and he heard nearly had me crawling out of my skin from embarrassment.
"Little Bird" is the 1st installment of the Black Venom Crew series.
Loved this book , from new to me author.
If you love your men dark (OTT, jealous, possessive), I can be a sweetheart, but I'll still lock her ass down type of guy/s, then this book is definitely for you.
If you love a heroine who is fearless, daring, and possessive like a little firecracker, then you'll love Raven.
Although this book is light on spice, it does promise a hell of a lot more hot, spicy, kinky goodness in our MC's future. This book leaves you wanting more of everything. I can't wait to find out what's in store for our MCs next.
I hope to learn more of their backstories in the upcoming installments. Please check the trigger warning, as it does contain some dark themes.
Highly Recommend!
Thank you to the author for providing me with this ARC.
I'm sure this story is going somewhere soon, but for now I just wasn't feeling it at all.
Did I finish it in a day? Yes. Was it enjoyable? Sure. Would I recommend it? Why not. Honestly, it wasn't bad at all. I quite enjoyed the storyline. It was just missing something.
I'm a whore for reverse harem so when I saw: Alisha + friends to lovers + rh, I IMMEDIATELY caved. I knew it was going to be a fav. Sadly, it wasn't. I love the friends to lovers. It's done well and I like how the fmc knows what she wants and takes it. I also enjoyed the mc's. Hunter is currently my fav. I also happen to love psycho's (fictional ofc) so when I saw that Link was out here killing people left and right. And how he's crazy and would kill anyone who dares to look at Raven. I thought "he is going to be a fav", but he didn't hit. At times I found him annoying. His reasoning for not telling Raven what they do is stupid. His possessiveness is quite frankly, boring. He's just so basic. Sorryyyyy.
As for the twins. I don't even know what to say. I hardly remember them tbh. To me they were forgettable characters. They didn't really contribute to the story. Felt like all they are is hot sunshine twins who kill. I can't even recall if they say much in the story. Maybe I'm not remembering everything. Lol. Was it tylor? Or Travis? That rarely said a word.
Hunter by far was the most active in the story. We got to see how he interacted with Raven& their relationship. I really enjoyed their friendship and banter! And how he's saving himself for Raven. Cute.
The story felt very repetitive at times. Like, yes babe I know you want to fuck them. She was constantly saying how she was going to make them tell her they wanted her. I very much liked her plan though! Then there was the guys not wanting to tell her what they do because they were afraid she was going to leave them. AND IT WAS ONLY FOR THAT REASON THEY DIDN'T TELL HER THEY LOVED HER. Annoying.
Anyways, I suppose it wasn't all bad. It kept me entertained and it seemed fast paced. I really enjoyed the first 50% but then it kinda just fell flat after. I don't even think this should be a series. It could've been written as a standalone if you left out a couple unnecessary details. And changed a couple scenes. The last chapter also didn't make sense to me. The timeline of them getting to the party and on time before the ummm yk, it doesn't add up. The timeline is all wrong considering the house was far away. There's just no way they would've gotten there before the uh... incident?
I really don't see where this will go. But will I read book 2? Absolutely! If there's one thing I learned it's to never give up on a slow burn. And this is very much that. This whole book was just their friendship and and confessing their feelings to themselves and each other (until the end). A slow build up to the good parts. There is also not much spice (1/5).
I highly suggest you read it though. We all have different tastes, and this could very well be your new fav series!
Ahh I loved this book so much!! Little Bird is the first book in the brand new series Black Venom Crew. It’s a friends to lovers dark romance with so many exciting moments.
Raven is such an awesome character. She’s stubborn, sassy, and very protective of her guys. I loved seeing her jealous side come out to play when other girls talked to the guys. She wants the guys to be hers, but there’s something keeping the guys from being with her. I won’t spoil anything though. 👀
The guys are so different from each other and I absolutely love that! I feel like so many reverse harem books have characters that are so similar. I’m glad Alisha didn’t do that with these guys. Hunter, Link, Taylor, and Travis are all so very possessive of Raven and definitely have a dark side to them. They are dangerous and maybe a little twisted but that’s exactly what Raven needs. No matter what the guys do Raven will still love them.
There’s some angst, drama, and a lil spice. This book is more just learning about the characters and plot driven than spicy, but it does show a glimpse of what we will get in the next book spice wise. I really hope to learn more about their backstories in the second book. I already love these characters so much and can’t wait to see what comes next.
Alisha Williams has written a fantastic dark romance and I am so excited to read book two!
Highly recommend if you like OTT jealous and possessive guys and a bad*ss named Raven.
Love love love this new series. I have been reading this authors books since her second title release, and every single book has been 💯 🔥. It's a bit different than all her others when it comes to seggzy times. Don't get me wrong, the spice is on point, but our guys are patiently waiting for our girl. Such gentlemen, lol. I can only imagine the explosion that will happen in the book. I love the storyline and how everyone came to know one another. Definitely love the moms even though they don't get much time. So looking forward to book 2. I'm mostly being vague so there's no spoilers. You gonna have to read it to find out.
In Little Bird we meet Raven and the boys and get a little peek into their world.
Raven isn’t quite 18 so this a very slow burn with lots of darker elements and some bullying.
This one fell a little flat for me. The writing was good, I just had a really hard time connecting to any of the characters and just became progressively more irritated with all of them as the story continued.
The constant “we want her but can’t have her and can’t tell her who we really are or what we do” got really old really fast, as well as Ravens constant need to try to push them into acting on their feelings.
There was next to no communication between the characters, which obviously led to obvious miscommunication and misunderstandings, and I think it just would have been so much better if the boys gave Raven SOMETHING.
I don’t know how this ended up on my TBR but it did. Did I like the trope? Absolutely! All of the male protagonists were deliciously horrible. I had an interest in each of them. Where the writer lost me was in the writing itself. It’s not good. 😬 Raven’s bff constantly talking about how she’s gay but if she wasn’t, and often commenting on Raven’s sex appeal was just over the top. A lot of the writing was over the top. Immature responses, too many “perfectly wrapped in a bow” moments. This would be a B list movie if anything. I almost DNF quite a few times. Heck it took me over a week to finish it and I read a book or two a day!
Now, all that said, I’ll give the second book a go. I’m curious to see what will happen now that the cats out of the bag. So, there’s that. 💁🏻♀️
Ahhh, I need more! Such a great start to Alisha’s new series! If you love dark romance (not as much in the first book, but it’s supposed to get darker as the series goes on), why choose with OTT possessive men (I’m so here for that), BFF’s-to-lovers, with heapings of smexual tension, this is the book for you. It’s a must-read, you don’t want to miss it!
Raven, the FMC, essentially grew up in a women’s shelter, and that’s where she met the guys when they were all younger. Fast forward to now and Raven is almost 18. Most of the guys are a few years older than her, and they made a pact that they would let her live her life as normally as possible until she is 18… which, when it came to Raven, meant that they agreed not to tell her about their feelings until she was old enough, even though they know she is in love with them. They’ve also been keeping a HUGE secret from her beyond just how they feel about her. Raven, knowing that they are keeping something big from her, decides to do a little snooping. She stumbles across their secret, and she’s surprised, to say the least.
I love the guys, it’s two pairs of brothers (one a set of twins 😉), and they each have their own personalities. They all are head-over-heels for Raven, but because they are hiding such a big secret, one they are worried Raven won’t be ok with, they are holding back from being with her until she knows the truth.
It’s an amazing start to the series, and I am already ready for book two! From exciting characters to great world-building and an awesome plot, I highly recommend this series. Check the triggers beforehand though!! I love Alisha’s books. The stories she creates always bring me back for more, and I will impatiently be waiting for her next book! Another fantastic book on the books 😉.
The little town of Black Ridge, secretly run by The Black Venom Crew.
Hunter, cutesy and most actively written into the storyline alongside Raven 😌 Link, over-the-top jealous leading to crazed 🔪 sprees Taylor & Travis, twins 🧑🤝🧑... very, very active with other women but in love with Raven 🤐
Obsessively possessive over their Little Bird, Raven. Her character was written well; loved her sassiness 😏
Best friends to lovers, not much of the dark romance, RH as of yet. With this being the first in the reverse harem series, the steam and spice was definitely a slow burn 💋, mostly steamy tension 💯. This gave more focus to the characters themselves for each to individually develop along with their relationships.
Hoping to have more insight into their pasts in the follow-on installments 🤞
I don’t know how, but Alisha Williams made this semi-dark, why-choose, best-friends-to-lovers romance sweet, with a bit of angst from unrequited love. Never mind that the MMCs are more than a little psychotic and possessive over the FMC or that she feels the same about them, their relationships gave me a warm fuzzy sensation because it was obvious that their affection is real, even if the parties refuse to acknowledge it formally.
I loved watching Raven push the boundaries of her boys as she attempts to get them to give in and admit to their feelings. She skirts the edge of insolence that others would not dare, not knowing the biggest secret they hide—one of the layers of secrets that threaten their friendship and love. There were several moments I wanted to jump through the page and throttle some sense into the characters, but it wouldn’t be entertaining without some missteps along the way.
This first book is more plot-driven, setting up for higher steam as the series progresses. It is slow-burn with a virgin FMC. This does not mean she is a shrinking violet; she is very comfortable taking care of her own needs. It seems she likes to read romance as much as the rest of us.
This was a great read, and I am excited for the rest of the series.
This book comes with a content warning, please head the author’s advice
Holy freaking hell, this story hit it right out of the ballpark
Raven has been friends with Lincoln and Hunter, Taylor and Travis for the last eight years. They are all the best of friends, the dynamics of there relationship is very interesting given how comfortable they all are with each other.
They are very fierce and protective of Raven, there touch her and die vibes are not to be confused with a mere conversation, friendship or budding romance, they have made it all very clear to those around them that she belongs to them, making it next to impossible for her to be around anyone else but herself.
With this being Raven’s last year of high school, she is determined to live her life to the fullest, to make choices for herself, to take chances with what she wants and to make changes in her life that will make her happy. For she is determined to go to community college but the reality of her situation is that she will not have a choice in the future because her life is about to change in ways she cannot imagine.
Enter Andrhea, she becomes Raven’s one and only best friend, one the guys allow her to have. She encourages Raven to be her best self, not that she already wasn’t. For Raven has feelings for her guys, and them for her. But they’re hiding something big from her and she is none the wiser.
But for Raven, she begins to notice subtle changes in her guys, she knows they are lying to her and she is feeling lonely, left out and frustrated. She begin acting out, taking risks, doing things to get their attention, and she does get. Only there feelings for her are on a tight leashes, not their thoughts. They are affectionate with her in their own ways, after all they are best friends. She knows what she wants with all of them, yet they won’t give into her, denying her, but most of all denying themselves. Her patience is wearing thin and so she has decided to take a step forward, by playing a game, taunting them, that will see their control snap, giving into their own basest desires for the girl they love, but can’t have, yet.
Raven stirs the pot by engaging in a conversation with one of her fellow classmates, taking them up on their offer of a date of sorts. This stirs up jealousy and anger within the guys, they are frustrated in the fact that she is playing with them on a level that she can’t comprehend, and they let her to an extent. There control is tightly held by the fact that they know exactly what it is that she is doing to them, they love this woman for who she is and what she aims to achieve by doing what she is doing, but it will not change the outcome, for they accept her challenge, by playing her game with her.
And in one night it all changes, done with the secrets and lies, she’s had enough about being kept in the dark. All those times she’s been to the garage, those instances where she’s walked into the middle of something, only to be dismissed. Her curiosity piqued, getting the best of her, she seeks the answers to her questions. With a mysterious guide helping in her quest does she find out what they have been keeping from her. To say she is shocked, is an understatement. She has come to an understanding of what it is that they do, having seen them in action, does everything click into place, that she also discovers that they are part of the Black Venom Crew. She is not frightened or scared, she loves them, accepts them for who they are, for that revelation will not change anything for her when it comes to them.
Now that she knows who and what they are, what they do, she comes to accept their comings and goings. However the one thing she is looking forward to the most is her eighteenth birthday and spending it with her guys. Their annual camping trip was one to be remembered, not until Hunter stuffs it up in massive proportions. Raven is hurt with how Hunter treated her, she cannot accept the rejection she felt at his touch on her body, the way her made her feel. She leaves, no sooner do they realise she’s gone that Hunter disclose how he monumentally ruined the best thing to happened between him and Raven.
Now that she’s eighteen, she engages in an activity that she knows will make them loose control. She is comfortable in herself and her own skin. She finds what she does, exhilarating, giving her a sense of empowerment. But when Lincoln discovers her secret, and she his identity, he is mad as all hell, but decides to take advantage of her situation for his own selfish needs. They keep up the ruse of this shared experience between them, Raven delights in the idea of being controlled by Lincoln in this environment, for she is his Little Bird, and he her Venomous King. For Raven follows his every command, likes the game that she is playing, he allows it to be this way between them, pushing her limits and boundaries for his pleasure, only it’s testing his own limits like never before.
This leads to Raven finding herself in a tenuous situation, which was not what she had intended, that forces her guys to react, when they learn some unsettling information. She incurs Lincoln’s wrath time and again, poking the dormant beast within, because she wants it all and she’s not afraid of him or them, she’s done waiting for them to act. And her situation has the desired effect, for all her teasing and pushing, brings him to his breaking point where Lincoln finally claims her as his, and she him.
For Raven played the game as she was supposed to, finally claiming all of her guys, for she belongs to them, and them to her, she might not understand what she has gotten herself into, but one thing is for sure, she doesn’t care, because she is ready to be part of there world, because this turns her on like nothing else, because now her whole life has changed, because it is about to get a hell of a lot more interesting.
This story is told from multiple POV, we get to see these characters through there strengths and weaknesses, what we see and feel shapes these characters, giving readers insight to who they are flaws and all, that they are in fact humans who all feel but handle what happened to them differently.
Their story will take you on a wild ride, having you turn page after page, this book had me from the beginning to the end. Reading this story, it enables the readers to really connect with the characters. The author knows how to write, and I will be coming back for more.
This book has it all dark reverse harem romance, friend to lovers, four possessive dominant alpha males, one fiery heroine who gives a good as she gets, touch him/ her and die vibes, family and friend dynamics, madness, mayhem, revenge, vengeance, violence, defiance, manipulation, adrenaline seeking suspense, jealousy, twists and truths.
There possessiveness and obsessive need for control and dominance, there foreplay it was off the charts. There need for her is possessive, wicked and depraved, for they know who’s clearly in charge. They own her heart, mind and body, for they will be the only men that Raven will ever need, and they will get what they want. I can’t wait to see there desire for her explode, igniting a blazing inferno between them, giving into there own desires, of unadulterated pleasure and passion, to bend River to there will, acquiescing to there carnal desires.
Bring on book two! Because I am so ready to immerse myself back into there world.
Highly recommend both author and book!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This book was a dumpster fire car wreck. The FMC just made this book nearly unreadable. She’s unrealistic and for being someone who has never had any physical intimacy she was raunchy as heck. Honestly so D-drunk without ever having a D that it made no sense that she’d be this way. Then she throws around that her boyfriends are in a gang. It’s just so cringe. So freaking cringe. Home girl needs to see an OBGYN bc she legit can’t stop herself from all the moisture down below. Literally everything makes her hot. The guys un@live someone? She’s wet, guys wink at her she’s wet, the guys take her to school and joke with her, she’s a monsoon. I get girls can be just as horn-prone as guys but she legit takes the cake…
The conflicts in this book and portions that would’ve been a climax fall really flat. She finds out the guys are in a gang? No big.
A guy from school placed a bet on getting her and then all of a sudden he comes back at her. It was like he was a complete afterthought that the author was like “ope, need to add him back in “ it just didn’t make a ton of sense.
The FMC being in constant dic*matized got so old, and repetitive it ruined this book.
Will I read the next one? Probably. Would I stop and check out a train wreck if I came upon one? Most likely. So my expectations are super low.
Man this first book in the Black Venom Crew series was so dang good.
I always loved the growing up and finding that relationship later in life, and the overprotective alpha males to boot, one of my favorite to read.
Raven has grown up with Hunger, Lincoln, Taylor and Travis. They are the best of friends, but what usually happens when you grow up with four hot guys, you start developing deeper feelings for them. Little does she know that plans were put in place once she reached a certain age.
What happens when she follows them one night and finds out what they really do? Or how about the person watching Raven from the shadows, is he friend or enemy? Will Raven finally get the guys to admit they belong together? Read and find out!
Little Bird is the first book in the Black Venom Crew series. It was a bit of a slow start for me, but daaaamn, it was soooo good! The connection and tension with Raven and her guys, Link, Hunter, Travis and Taylor, were just 🥵. To be honest, it's been a hot moment since I've read Alisha Williams' books, but I was soooo reminded on how much I enjoyed them!!
Little Bird, book 1 of the series Black Venom Crew by Alisha Williams @alishawilliamsauthor. I am rereading the series since the last book is coming out shortly.
What a great first part of this story! I am loving Raven, Link, Hunter, Travis & Taylor. If you like HS RH, no MM in this book, slow burn, & a cam girl, then you will love this book!
I freaking LOVED this book. The writing was good, the characters and side characters were amazing.
Raven was everything. She was beautiful, fearless, sassy and protective. It felt really god seeing how protective and jealous she would get over the guys. She knows what she wants and will push and push until she gets it.
The guys are all VERY different but I can't help but love them all. Hunter, Link, Travis and Taylor are all very possessive and have one obsession and that's Raven. They are very dark and dangerous but thats exactly the type of men Raven needs and wants. No matter how dark and twisty they all might be just know Raven loves it.
We got multiple Povs so we were able to get a little insight into what everyone was thinking and feeling. But we still don't know much about their past and how they came to be the way they are now. Hoping we get to know them a little deeper in the next book.
NOW this book was very light on the spice but with all the tension and chemistry between Raven and her men there was no need for it. The author did an amazing job with showing how much they all want each other without having to use sex.
I really did enjoy it, but I had the same issue with this as I did with the first book in the Vicious Lost Boys series by Nikki St Crowe, the entire book is basically just a set up for the second one. Which is all fine and dandy, but now I have to wait till 2024 to read the next one!
The entire first book is leading up and up and up and then BAM once we actually get what we’re yearning for it’s over and we have to wait for the next one 😟
It’s just annoying, and i think if an author is gonna do that they should have both books prepped to be released within a couple weeks of eachother, not years apart.
I’ll probably forget about this series before 2024 anyway lol
Alisha Williams girl you wrote best RH books, I have been a Alisha fan for a very long time and I can see how great her writing style, her plots are.
Little bird is first book in black Venom crew and my god the book started with a bang. It's fabulous, the chemistry between the heroine Raven (can see why little bird lol) and her men. LIN Hunter Travis Quin Taylor These men are just so sexy, will gut you for her girl. The plot is overall full of suspense, thriller and mysterious. The spice level was good, but we all know it's Alisha and she's lover of spice 😉 The book ends on a cliffhanger sooo girl ahhh I next book fast!
Omg I loved this book!! I loved it and can’t wait until book 2! There was enough spice in this book for being the first book in the series!! I kinda want these four men to be my boyfriends since they are overprotective!! That’s my opinion to that part.. As always read the tw before reading this book!! To me this book is amazing and I want more in this series!! Especially with the four men 🥵 I can’t wait what the author has plans for all the characters in the next book!! Hopefully you can have your own opinion to this book just like I do and fall in love with it like I did!!
Raven is so lucky, four guys who worship her, even tho she severely tests their patience. Definitely a slow burn start to the series but Raven is a sexy girl who knows what she wants. The way she teases the guts, especially Lincoln made me smile. The show she’s putting on for him alone is such a sexy way to test his resolve. Love that we have twins here, one of my favourite fantasies that, the next book is shaping up to be so spicy, definitely can’t way, the delicious sexual tension is at breaking point.
I absolutely DEVOURED this book and I need more ASAP! If you like "touch her and die" vibes, this book has one of the best touch-her-and-die plots in existence! I was afraid to keep reading these explicit scenes about Raven because I didn't want the BVC to come through the pages and unalive me 😅 I absolutely love dark and broody RH books and this definitely sits at the top of my list. There was an author note that said this book had much less spice than the others will...if that's the case, I cannot wait to see what the other books have in store 😳 I am 100% invested in this story and I will grab up the rest of the books in this series the second they are released!
If you know me, you know that I’m usually not a fan of high school romances, but OMG did this book have me in a chokehold!! Raven is sassy and tests the limits of her guys patience but is also fiercely protective over them. Can we talk about THE GUYS. The way they treated Raven & made her their everything.. *swoon* Link, Taylor, Travis & Hunter are hot as sin & at times OTT protective of Raven. They’re dangerous and definitely have a dark side to them that’s hidden. I usually want all of the spice but this one was great with just the little bit of steam that it had. I’m excited to see how things pick up as the series goes on. & now that Raven is 18 bring on all the spice!! Since this is book one it’s a lot of introduction to the characters, but it still had the perfect amount of angst & drama to keep you enthralled.
PLEASE READ THIS ONE RIGHT NOW!
I have now found 4 new book bf’s & I’m so jealous of Raven.
This has a great storyline and some fabulous characters. Unfortunately it’s just not for me. I love psycho men as much as the next girl, and I get that the character likes what they do, but they are just a little too over the top for me. I may read book two to see what happens next but I have a feeling it’s not going to be my thing which is a shame as this writer is very good. I gave it 4 stars as I can appreciate it’s a great book and that it’s just my personal taste that is the issue, if you like dark romances then you will love this
This book wasn't what I was expecting it surprised me several times It was really good.
Raven oh Ray Ray she is a strong FMC and she knows what she want and she went straight for it. She wanted it and she wanted it now. She didn't wanted to wait any longer. She is noy your typical FMC she going to surprise you because you think she going to do things this way but she do them another way. That honestly surprise me and it was refreshing.
Her and the guy have an amazing friendship they are there for each other more than that they are family. But the guys have secrets and those can cost them more that what they think. I can't wait to see how everything plays out.
The guys are amazing even Link that get me so frustrated and mad. Hunter is so sweet I love him and the twins Travis and Taylor are the perfect duo of opposites. They have secrets but you get that they do it because they want the best for her even when they are not taking the best decisions. They need to be more open and let it all out and let Raven in.
Andy.. she is the friend that Raven needed to have a little taste of a normality and enjoy her last year of school. She is fun energetic and a fresh air to Raven. It was a fun character to read.
There are some scenes that I was WTF like the lipstick scene when she was sleeping IFYKYK. Hot hot hot..
I can't wait to see whats going to happen in next book. I was getting excited at the end but the book ended too quickly. I want her relationship ship with the guys develop I can't wait.
Raven is a total sweetheart, she lives with her mom & 4 best friends in a house for women escaping dangerous circumstances. Her best friends have a dark secret that they aren’t ready to share with her. They are all in love with her, but haven’t told her, will they finally come clean about all of their secrets? This was dark and hot and full of snarky banter.
